Meat selection, presentation, and freshness just asking you to buy.
I didn't plan to buy any meat but just walked by the Meat counter, and couldn't resist to short ribs.

I usually like Sobeys, they say the store is open untill 10 pm, but went at 9: 10 and the doors were closed and blocked with a bread rack. The opposite side was blocked by carts. At 9: 10. While workers are just indoor talking to each other.
I don't know how do they get away with that. Store locked 1 hour earlier? Weird

Out of ice on July 22,2023. That is bush league. All of your customers are paying 10% more property tax. Make it worth staying around.

Definitely the nicest Sobey’s and possibly the nicest grocery store I’ve been to in Canada. Excellent layout and friendly staff.

Officially done with this store. I have never bought so many expired items from a grocery store in my life. I never return the item as I find it's too much work for me to go back on such a busy schedule so I eat the cost and call it a day. This has happened at least 30 times now though and today was the last straw.

There is a Sobeys closer to my house in Welland but I go to the Fonthill location as it has a few staple items I use on the regular for my meal prep that I can't get at the other Sobeys. So it's extra frustrating when I have mapped out my balanced meals for the week which require the items I purchased, only to find out the item is way expired. I am pretty flexible with expiry dates too depending on the item I will still use it. But more often than not it smells funky or doesn't look right so I can't, like today for instance. I bought these wraps the other day without checking the expiry (I usually always do now when I purchase from this location) and went to make my breakfast wrap this morning and the wraps felt dry which is strange for this brand, I have bought these many times before. So I checked the expiry. SEPTEMBER 2022! Brutal. Will be returning the item tonight for a refund.

Also on a few other occasions my boyfriend and I have pointed out to the staff items that have are way past the expiry on the shelves. Staff are friendly and store is clean.but I will no longer be returning given how terrible they are with keeping expired items stocked on the shelf. If you do go here CHECK EVERY EXPIRY DATE of everything you need before purchasing.

This is one of the friendliest stores I've been into. Also they have a great selection of vegetables, love the green tomatoes.

Top notch customer service from cashier named Nicole. After being directed to go to another til by another cashier, the til was empty and Nicole saw this and left the self checkout area and jumped on to cash me out. Excellent customer service

Found everything I was looking for. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. I enjoy shopping there.

They have everything essential with a twist. Expensive, but the store is usually well organized and the management is super friendly. Oh and, never had any issue when returning things that were expired.
I shop here often.

Why does the manager, Ron Kore, continue to visit his store and attend council meetings, while he’s showing signs of respiratory problems. STAY HOME, unless your customers and their families mean nothing to you. Your arrogance is incredible.

A very well kept store. Very clean and bright. Found products easily and had a pleasant chat with the person at check out.

Store is a peculiar design and I find Sobeys expensive. However, they have good service and a wider range of goods than many other grocery stores. Today was Blue Friday, so some good Air Miles deals.

My rating is based on price. I can't fault the quality. The prices are not acceptable. I avoid Sobeys and the associated chains when I can. A 6 pack of mass produced Bran muffins, which was $ 4.49 a few weeks ago is now $5.49, as an example.

Store was messy on 7.21. Carts blocking exit door. Prices (in plastic) on floor or on ground outside. Water jugs near aisle 1 on floor. Store is usually on the ball, but not this time.

Great store. Came here from Sobeys in Welland where they were out of stock of cheese that was on sale. Lots of stock at this store!

Excellent store clean neat tidy. I enjoyed very much to shop there. The staff helpful. Recommend this store in the hamlet of Fonthill. Lovely area.

Nice place to do your groceries in Fonthill they have good variety of fresh vegetables fresh fruit flowers bouquets milk dairy items meat a good place to do your groceries convenient location near Highway 20 and prices are reasonable staff is friendly

Great place. But they switched to super cheap plastic bags that rip 80% of the time with the amount of stuff the cashiers put in them. How much more profit are you making since the switch? I'm going to be shopping elsewhere if they don't get good bags back. Pitiful

Beautiful grocery store. Overpriced, but it's enjoyable to browse through the isles. Good selection of tea and vegan friendly frozen treats. (I'm not vegan but dairy free options are always nice)

The weather this week, prevented a lot of stock up, of supplies. Was able to switch out, with similar products, to keep me going.

Love shopping at this sobeys! The owner and all employees are great. Amazing selection and always good sales.
