A bit of a complicated layout bit the store is packed with good food! Very well located and had tons of parking.

Deplorable service when it comes to customer service.
Staff give off a negative vibe towards consumers.
The selection and freshness is terrible.
With all the items almost expired and terrible service,
why would you not go to so many other places.
A Law Suit is pending against a staff member there now.

Clean and helpful staff that will point you in the right direction. Lots of options with unique products that you won't find at other grocery stores. Just expect to pay a little more.

Got the best homemade apple pie. Tons more to choose from. Big store, lots of parking, very nice staff!

You can get a decent lunch from the hot table here. Much more healthier than any fast food restaurants.

Could use more ethnic vegetables and fruits, and the international aisle isn't that great.

1 star for no plastic bags. Expensive massive paper bags that don’t have handles aren’t a decent option. Pricing is as bad as loblaws or worse. Hit up a freshco or metro down the street instead

The place was clean but, mostly empty. I guess that can be expected on a Monday night. The cashier was friendly and cheery, which was nice.

My go-to grocery store. Clean and well-stocked with great selection. Reasonable prices if you shop for things that are on sale.

I never do reviews because I know that sometimes the experience and customer service changes from day to day and some people have bad days but I have gone to this location multiple times and have had multiple bad experiences with the cashier Judith she has thrown things back on the conveyor belt and has raised her voice multiple times at not just me but other customers so unfortunately this is the reason for the poor review

This Sobeys is not the biggest but it has all the essentials. Items are organized in a structured way to make things easily visible and accessible. Lots of room in the aisle and the staff are friendly as well.

The plaza has a lot of space to park as well which is a plus.

All in all, nice Sobeys (but I dont personally frequent Sobeys as it’s more expensive than other grocery chains).

Its always a great experience at this store. Good deals, always fresh. Cashiers are always smiling and happy to help

Not a big store but it has the essential things. Good parking access, close to other stores. Tried to scan my air miles virtual card but it did not work at the self checkout. I had to enter the code manually. A nice thing > The store offers lots of smaller metal shopping carts (thank you!) along with large ones. Often the large carts feel like "ocean liners" in smaller alleys or tight spots. So thanks for making sure smaller carts are available to customers.

Not impressed and unfortunately the only grocery store within walking distance from me. Quite slow at restocking.

Amazing service by the most lovely ladies and team here at this Location of Sobeys! I called later on at the night time before going in because I had a unique but emergency situation that came up which required me to get flowers completely last minute on a whim! I spoke to Judy on the phone in the beginning and she understood the magnitude of the situation at hand.

She than transferred me to Olivia who helped me out so much in choosing such a beautiful bunch to put together for me. The wrapping and presentation was so gorgeous I was beyond a satisfied customer upon getting it on arrival! Shoutout to Evelyn and Michaela as well for all being there to assist!

I can not thank this Sobeys location enough for helping me out and being so understanding! They didn’t have to go out of they way like that to help me, but they did!

Please can the owner or manager give these girls some recognition for this! They were even more polite and courteous in refusing to accept me getting them anything they wanted in the store as a token of my appreciation for the last minute request and help! You girls are awesome and I am forever grateful.

Staff in the cake section around this time 7: 38pm was nice and the cashier named Hamzaa was very nice. Good guy

This place needs to get with the program. The dairy freeze selection is horrendous. And they don’t even carry their own brand of plant-based nuggets. Add a flag ship store this is totally unacceptable. I came here because flagship stores are supposed to have the variety in stock in this place just doesn’t. Never again.

This location staffs are not well trained, and produce is not fresh. Shopped there last night, went home and found out the pepper had mold on it, and the naan was expired and also had black spots on them. Went back in today to return spoiled item (I’ve never return grocery before in my life) and the staff instead of refund me charged me again… and we had to redo the refund after I saw the discrepancy. The gummy bears I bought is priced at 3.29 and they couldn’t scan the barcode so I got charged for 3.49 - they didn’t even double check if the price is correct! I checked and realized this after all the mistakes I witnessed… won’t be coming back.

Always a pleasant experience grocery shopping there. Plenty of parking and proper Covid protocol when entering. Store is clean always. The self check-out stations are not always cooperative and needs assistance often. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Love their in-store meatballs but not carried all year round.

There's 1 cashier there that nobody should have to deal with! She's abusive and the experience at that Sobey's should not happen. My wife and I both agree. We'd rather stand in a long line than deal with her. Very sad for a good store.

Beautiful store - but you pay for that with higher prices. Glad to have checked it out and will be content to go back to my regular grocery store.

Great variety of fresh produce and whenever you ask an employee for help, they immediately stop what they are in the middle of doing and make the time to help you. Customer service at its finest.

Great place to shop. Funny enough, they always have things on sale that I never think they would have. My only wish is that their self-serve checkout stands work a little better. Half of the time I find myself not being able to scan the product

One of my favorite grocery stores. A great mix of organic, local, and store made. Amazing staff and service! I also appreciate their efforts for less waste. Check out their in-store herb farm!

Locate in smartcentre, leaside, where you can find most of your daily grocery needs, however, prices are marked up for most things.

Great service! I walked in minutes before closing time, needed a last minute cake for coworker’s birthday. The bakery department was already closed, but Hamza went out of his way to get and pack up a cake of my choice for me and helped me self-checkout. Very friendly and courteous. And the cake was delicious!

During the covid 19, this Sobeys offer's extra hygienic measures, like masks, disinfectant spray and gloves to its customers. Better cleaned environment make a difference.

The food itself was okay, there wasn't much to choose from in the fresh section, but they seemed pretty well stoccked in other areas. The people/shoppers were horrible. Rude, entitled and most not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly. 2 different grown women sneezed loudly, and one teenager took her mask down to pick at her nose then put it back in place. A third woman took her mask off completely at the check out to make faces and blow raspberries at her baby without a thought to the poor check out lady who now has to wipe down everything. Also, I had to ask the young man at checkout on #6 to wipe down the conveyer belt as it was covered in visible stickiness and dirt.

This Sobey has excellent protocol with greeter at the door offering mask, hand sanitizer and gloves. The facility is very clean and spacious. I was able to purchase what I wanted and the check out was quick with no problem.

Great service. Friendly. Clean and great variety of foods. Love that they offer paper bags for carry out or 25 cent reusable bag options!

Bring your wallet. Sobey's is always a thrill.the new and improved one way aisles are just smashing.

Dear management: With regret I report that on my most recent two visits to your store during the pandemic, the only person (s) not practising physical distancing was/were your staff member (s) (not sure whether it's the same person). On the second visit, when I reminded Kamila of "two metres" TWICE within minutes, she got defensive and claimed there was not enough room. I told her she could have waited or asked me to move. Both visits happened during your early hour reserved for seniors and persons with disabilities (thank you for providing this special hour!). Not only was the store not busy, your staff knew they were interacting with the at-risk population and should have been extra considerate to the customers so as not to defeat the purpose of the reserved hour. Sobeys is already doing better than other supermarkets. If you can train your staff to respect and practise physical distancing, I'd not only feel safer, but perfectly safe, in your store.

The older staff here need to wear a mask OVER their nose at all times. The young ones here are wearing it correctly. Kudos to them.

Please make the store safer.

I will not be returning to this store. At the beginning of the isolation, it was the first store in the neighbourhood to offer seniors hours (although it was not enforced as it should have been). All of the other main grocery stores in the area have instituted the wearing of masks, and yet Sobeys has not, not even for their staff. Sadly it has become Covidiot shopper central with no overview of enforcement of social distancing or masks.

Sobey's always has everything I'm looking for! The layout makes it easy to find whatever you need and the employees are very helpful and kind.

June 8 2020 - sunny day with spits of rain - we were biking with some friends and decided to have a quick picnic. We stopped here and found that the place was very well organized and clean. Strongly recommend.
On the other hand, I did not appreciate one of the deli guys who was trying to over sell me meat and cheese. He would put more into the weight so it would cost more or not let him get stranded with only one slice on his hand. I appreciate the effort to cater to my needs but didnt like that he was a bit sneaky. I didnt care bit is was something I noticed.

Good store. Lots of selection. This location sells beer and is open later than LCBO in same plaza. - good news for beer fans.

It's in a mall with lots of other stores. If you are in the mall for other shopping this store will help make your trip one stop shopping.

This store is very large and their fresh fruit and vegetables are excellent. It is the best grocery store in the area.

The staff is very helpful. Produce is of high quality. The store is very clean. Hot food bar & salad bar are very good

The parking lot is always a terrible mess and the layout of the store is terrible. You walk in and are in the produce section and can walk towards meat and deli counter in the back but if you want to access the rest of the store you have to go back to near the entrance and turn left and the rest of the store and the usual aisles. Just bad layout planning.

Great produce, fresh baked goods, awsome deli as well as fresh cooked take home meals or have a seat and lunch, there's a cafeteria.

The florist that puts together the flower arrangements and bouquets is simply the best and has a great eye for colour!

First and only Sobeys I've ever been in. Layout is sprawling and choice is awesome. Too bad it's not nearer to me.

Beautiful store! Great assortment, fresh quality in all of the perishable departments, staff is wonderful, overall fantastic experience!

Total rubbish store. Bad produce, spoils in one day. The staff are miserable and the prices are through the roof, in some cases 40% more then the competition. I even wrote their head office about the $20.00 in spoiled peaches and grapes I purchased, I’ve never received a response. In my opinion, this is the worst grocery store in Toronto and the worst chain in Canada. Never again.

Terrible experience. Don’t every buy chicken breasts from here. They do not clean the fat at all and hide fat and other in-edibles under the breasts! On average a third of the weight of each breast was junk (fat, lumps of blood etc). Also the chicken was very stringy. Not good.

Great personnel and manager at the Laird location. Went to Sobeys to get a birthday cake for my mother. However, the bakery department was closed-it was after 9 pm. A staff member suggested I ask for the manager to see if he could help. Derek, the manager was of wonderful - he went out of his way to go into the bakery section and boxed up the cake that I wanted.
