Sobeys Maple Grove

I live close to Sobeys picked up bagged milk for my neighbor it's a beautiful Gŕocery store i was surprised at the pricing if you were to buy 2 items the same it's less i checked my yogurt 1 is over $4 but 2 is just over $3 over the years i've known this store to be pricey but I will be shopping at Sobeys again A Dollar store just opened there is a Hardware store, Dentist, a Post Office it's a beautiful area in Oakville if you continue driving that road leads into the Town which leads inro Burlington
The area haven't changed and the staff still polite I was surprised on Sunday they open later I did notice some items like my yogurt was less expensive prices are better now and the grocery shelves are well stacked with reasonable prices

This is a very convenient store where you can buy your daily groceries. Very helpful staff and cheap prices.

We shop sobeys maple grove plaza often as its enroute home - where we find its poorly managed and inconsistent
examples -
bought fruit bottom yogurt march 22 where we overlooked looking at the expire date - march 21.returned the yogurt where we were met with oh sorry that never happens.we just stopped in today march 28 to get some of the same yogurt and noticed all size packages of the same yogurt had expired march 21 and still in the cooler for someone else to buy: (

the bananas are either green like a golf course green or turning brown perfect for baking - but nothing else.hope this encourages management to wake up

Location is convenient. Most recent visit was a tad frustrating with bakery and dairy products at best before dates.

Great place for home owners in the area, lots of parking and good selection of food. Open 7 days a week with staff helpfully.

Nice clean store with a lot of variety. Generally grocery stores don't stand out to me too much, but I was happy here the staff helped me pack my reusable grocery bags and went the extra mile to load one of the bags in my cart.

Multiple times I’ve bought Sheldon Creek (local dairy) milk at this location and it’s always already gone bad even though the expiry date is not close. They need to stop carrying this brand of milk, it’s not cheap

I've been shopping at this grocery store for over 20 years now, and they almost always have everything I'm looking for. The location is lovely and very convenient. The only reason I wanted to leave a review today was because of the awesome cashier who served my brother and I today. Thank you Raymond for being so energetic and uplifting, you put a smile on our faces and there should be more people in the world like you.

Overall good. Was looking for ready made cabbage rolls. They were not in the deli or frozen foods.

They have a great selection of food and the shelves were full. The store was clean and the staff friendly.

Compliments to the store management and staff for maintaining a clean and well-stocked store. Check-out staff are friendly and helpful. Physical distancing and masks have been maintained throughout the pandemic. A few more basic items (e.g. Q-tips) in the pharmacy section would improve the product selection options.

Didn't have ANY berries (despite strawberries being in the flyer). Only paper or reusable bags. I get that you are trying to be environmentally friendly but give ppl a choice. Now I have to buy plastic bags separately to line my garbage cans and for diapers. Creates more waste since they are thicker and come in their own package. Environmentalism and virtue signalling without common sense.

Spacious, clean, building.friendly and helpful staff. They offer senior’s only shopping 7-8am.during covid.

Last week, some cashier is not friendly and impolite to say offense words just because i didn't take ID for them to "verify my creditcard is mine ". Bad experience.

Complained, 10 days no response till now.

In 2019, the steak bought from this store was bad smell when open. Went back to return it at same day, the guy was in bad mood, no sorry.

Love this Sobey's they always got great deals on their steaks and the meats always fresh. They also have a good selection of produce and deli items. Price is somewhat on the pricey side especially on the vegetables and fruits so be careful on what you decide to spend your hard earned money on.

The girl working at the bakery was so so amazing with all the information she gave about custom cakes. Even gave me a bit of each frosting to sample at home to see which one I liked the best and what I should use for my cakes. The service was great in every section of the store. 1 less star only because I can find a lot of their other items in other grocery stores for less. But when it comes to cakes, I always choose sobeys for their amazing cakes with great pricing!

Very clean bright and cool! They had what we were looking for (which were advertised). Lots of covid cleaning going on and very fast checkout

Clean & tidy but continues to disappoint with: very poor selection of goods, many at or past due dates for meats & dairy, pathetic meat counter and on and on. AND NO BEER SALES. 90% caters to elderly with small sad portions, with high prices. Longos and Farm Boy only couple of minutes away are eating Sobey's lunch and dinner. Just close and let a more committed Grocery Store take over PLEASE!

Bought lobsters here a few times and each time the lobsters taste very stale and fishy. Also the last time I got the lobsters, the day before Canada Day, the lady at the fish counter had pretty bad attitude.

A cashier by the name of Alex restored my faith in hummanity tonight, especially during the tumultuous times we currently find ourselves in. For no reason, other than simply being a good person, she immediately acknowledged the fact that I was in an embarassing, and stressful situation, when it came time to checkout. Without the slightest hesitation, she instantly took measures to selflessly help me out of the embarrasing bind that I had found myself in. Not only did she go out of her way, and far beyond any job requirement, to help me out of the uncomfortable situation, but she went as far as to sacrifice herself financially in order to help me, a total stranger, out. I will forever remember, and be grateful for, the complete, and absolute, altruism displayed by Alex; and will continue to, as well as advise others to, shop at the Maple Grove Sobeys. Thank you Alex; and Sobeys, for hiring such amazing staff. The world needs more Alex's.

There was no parchment paper at all. But there was yeast. Service was good, but the cashiers should be given training on how to lack the grocery bags. My frozen was mixed with everything else and had to really go through it to separate.

During these uncertain times I found it disconcerting that this store allows customers to bring into the store their reusable bacteria ridden shopping bags when other stores have asked customers to stop bringing them since they could potentially be contaminated. Maybe you could give out your paper bags for free like other stores and have customers bag their own purchases to keep contamination down to a minimum.

Clean, organized, friendly and efficient! A customer leaves with her groceries feeling emotionally energized to feed her family.

Not so crowded place. Ample parking with major stores like home hardware, Rexall. Also subway and Tim Hortons.nearby gas station.

Only one cashier on during the day. Sobey's expects u to use the self check outs. I tried and had some problems so I just left. Won't be returning.

Plenty of staff on hand and not too many shoppers. They were restocking as I shopped. I found pretty much everything I was looking for, without having to fight crowds. It was a pretty good experience.

Looking through the last few reviews, I unfortunately have to agree. I came here to buy the veggie meat that was on sale (buy 1 get 2 free). They didn't have any product so I got a raincheck. Visited a few days later and they still didn't have the product. Called a week after the sale and asked if they had stock as I was specifically driving there to get it. Was told they do and when I arrived and checked, they only had 1 with a different product behind it. Was told someone must have messed up on inventory. Waste of time and gas. Environmental initiatives indeed Sobeys. Next time I will go to the one up by Thomas. Keep your raincheck.

They could take a tip from Longos or Farm boy when you ask for assistance to find a product they should help you to find it instead af saying I think it's in the other aisle I am finding that lately produce is not as fresh as you would expect

Within close proximity to my home another plaza with a Postal outlet Dentist office Drug store

Apparently the sushi bar treats every customer there like a thief.paid for my sushi at cash went back to sit down to eat my lunch in peace and got bombarded with "did you pay? " by the sushi bar employee.
This is not the correct way to treat your customers. I've been shopping at Sobeys for a long long time but this just rubbed me the wrong way. If you don't know if customers are paying for your sushi then there is something wrong with your store's internal procedures. Fix the process instead of assuming your customers are stealing from you. Maybe it's just bad management at this location because I've never encountered this anywhere else.

I was checking out from Sobey's Maple Grove store today, and Marilyn was the cashier. How rude was her! When I said thank you very much, she replied with "mhmm", no smile, just a can't be bothered attitude. I am so disappointed with the customer service at this store.

Seriously the Worst Sobeys. Shelves are empty (butter, eggs) products expired (milk, bread) This happens All the time! It is Embarrassing! How the Mgr keeps his job is unbelievable. He must be best friends with the CEO for Sobeys that lives down the street! Both should have been FIRED Years ago.

Sobeys closed fresh coffee machine this week. Should have switched responsibility for it from
Delicatessen to Suchi. Longos nearby has a Starbucks.

Large and spacious store. Cashiers are emotionless but that's normal. Wide variety of products at reasonable prices

Why not 5 stars? Price is a little high

As I was going grocery shopping, sobeys had a wide variety of selections that was able to cater to my liking. A staff member was able to assist me in finding me the right items.

I have worked in the industry for 25 ish years. My visit today was amazing. Well layed out. Signage/labels accurate and scan intergrity 100%.
