Sobeys Orangeville

I generally avoid this store because it is so expensive - even though it's not 24 hours anymore.
I decided to go to this store specifically today because I knew they had the specific brands and things I needed. There were three things on the list.
Except every single thing I went to this store to get was out of stock. EVERY. SINGLE. THING.
I went to No Frills and got 2/3.
Problem solved.

More expensive than the other grocery stores but the meat is very good and the deli is great.

Outstanding sobeys, we come from out of town because of all the great healthy / keto / unusual options.

Very nice store, has a good but not great selections.
Bakery is so so.
Prices are crazy expensive, and I mean more than the normal high prices.
But it's very convenient to where I live so I use it a lot.

I love this store. It is so clean and so new. They have infarm herbs growing year round, fish that comes in regularly and a wide selection of natural products.

We got married this past Saturday and used Sobeys for our flowers. The two ladies at the floral counter could not have been more helpful. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the flowers, and my bouquet looked. There weren't too many different kinds of flowers due to the time of year/weather, but these two women used their skills, talent and judgment to make incredible centerpieces/ bouquet. I left the creativity up to them, and told them the colors I wanted but left them to use their experience to create something amazing. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and we couldn't have been happier. The flowers were stunning, and admired by all the guests. You don't need to go to high-end floral boutiques to have gorgeous flowers. Thank you again so much for what you did for us. I would definitely recommend you to anyone with an upcoming event. Thanks ladies, you were/are awesome!

I stop there for flowers for a terminally I'll friend. There is always a wide selection of Rose's, and Lisa cleans them up and waters them and wraps them beautifully

Very dusty since the renovation. I tried grabbing some things from the top shelf and I felt like Indiana Jones in the Temple if Doom recovering lost artifacts. Perhaps some of the staff standing around talking could fix that? It's kind of gross.

The new store is great. Nice atmosphere to do your grocery shopping. They did not carry Chinese 5 spice in the store.

Excellent groceries as always- better than ALL other places I've been to except you don't stock O'Doules any more

This store it’s amazing and since the renovations it got even better, everything is always so clean and organized and the staff have always been super nice every time I go there. Keep on the good work

Without a doubt, the absolute worst quality produce I've ever seen. Even the organics are of the lowest end, Our Compliments brand, which is mass produced, low quality. Watch the dates, too much food, close to the expiry dates. Bring back the BRAND NAME products. Your Our Compliments style is the worst and no choice available. Store is nice, but that's about it. So much processed junk sold in this store.

Open 24 hrs. Large. Lots of parking. Kinda pricey. Redone with lots more options, vegan options, etc. Large beer section. Premade food is disappointing though, had high hopes. Chow mean noodles and veggie fried rice bland and boring, nothing in the noodles. Typical grocery store sushi. Haven't tried the pizza, soups, sandwiches, or premade salads yet.

This store is very clean and well organized There cashiers and also the the other employees are very helpful and pleasant to deal with

Really enjoy this store. The renovations were nicely done. Great bakery section, nice floral area. Large wine selection. We go for the Japanese cheesecake, the flowers as I can usually find snapdragons in the winter and the popcorn (popped in coconut oil), so much better for you than vegetable oil.

Newly renovated, so it looks nice. But the parking spots are VERY tight for anything bigger than a car, the grocery items are expensive, and worst of all the produce is never very good. They need a new supplier or picker. The last few times I have gone I have tried to get broccoli, cauliflower, and oranges. All have looked good enough to buy, and have been bad inside. This is what I might expect of Walmart, so I might as well go there and pay way less.

Store look cute after the remodelling.but Some parts of the store feel disorganized. And worst of all is the check out: a little rotating platform when the cashier piles up your stuff before you can put it on your bag. I had to put every thing back in the cart and bag my items in the parking lot to not hold up people behind me. Between that ridiculous set up and self checkout the lines during the busy times are going to be epic. I'll avoid going back there

Very nice since reno.only complaint is the crazy amount of men standing around chit chatting.i assume store management of some sort.literally trying to buy produce and 3 of them were talking and blocking the area. I stood and waited with my baby in the cart until finally they said "oh" and huddled in closer still blocking the produce. I moved around then instead and didnt buy what i was going to.have the meeting elsewhere boys so i can spend my money in the store! Jeeze.

The hot food counter needs new food. The take away chicken, the soggy wedges, 7$ mac and cheese that tastes like I have covid. It's all bad and not worth the money you are charging.

A little confusing during their makeover but everyone is helpful in directing you to the item you are looking for.

I'm been living in Orangeville for one year now and I've slowly grown to love Sobeys. It's my go-to place for groceries. I love all the renovations so far. I have also felt the safest while shopping here during the pandemic.

Good layout, under some construction at the moment so I'm curious to see what they will be offering in the near future

This is my favourite grocery store in town. When we moved to Orangeville about 4 years ago, we were accustomed to purchasing certain items in the city grocery stores, and Sobeys thankfully carries a lot of them versus the other places in town. The price difference on most items, specially fruits and veggies, is a few cents more than some of the other stores but we collect air miles so this place makes more sense for us to shop at plus it's closest to home! Super convenient, always clean, most of the employees are very nice and friendly even under the circumstances that we are in at this time. Be patient with them please, a lot of them are overworked, tired of dealing with rude entitled people and so many are young and it's maybe their first job and are learning. All in all, I am always comfortable going into Sobeys versus anywhere else in town and usually find everything I need.

Great produce and selection. Staff are friendly. They have their off days just as everyone but always try to be nice. Great selection of flowers and store is very clean.

Customer service is pretty good, store is normally clean. We normally go there for the deli section. Most of them are nice, I'll admit we get shaved ham which is alot of extra work for them. Over all we've never had any real issues with this store:)

A very well ran grocery store. Love there is always a friendly person at self checkout when assistance is required.

Passed by the town on a Saturday evening. To get something for snack and found this store is very clean very organized fruits are very fresh. On top of that everyone wearing masks shoppers and stuffs.

Very poor management. Asked to see manager and they said he was out golfing? What kind of business is this?

Great quality produce, but you certainly pay for it. Was really impressed with the Covid prevention measures put in place, everyone works so hard to keep everyone safe.

Organized well and everyone working there seems to be doing well! The people who shop there however, thei attitudes this last weekend deserve 1 star

I've been so impressed with how clean and organized Sobeys has been during this COVID-19 issue. I always liked shopping here and now they've shown what a great company they are!

Love that Sobeys stocks a variety of local products and specialty diet products that other grocery stores in town don't. Keep up the great product selection!

Clean usually have sale items but very pricey even for some of the sale items. It has some things that are hard to find at other grocery stores.

Lovely store. Only concern is the clutter in aisles because of stacks of beer and wine and the amount of fridge space this all takes up as well which makes it hard to find other products.

This sobeys is the worst. If you buy any of there prepared foods be super careful. This is our second time we have received undercooked food. Please be aware!

It's nice to go into a store and actually see the employees working. They were a fine example of how it should be done. Makes for a good shopping experience. Well done Sobeys Orangeville!

Customer service by the tall man who has worked there for a long time is unparalleled.

The cashiers need to be told by management that it's not polite to talk to each other and ignore the customers.

Prices are standard mid level grocery store prices.
