I like shopping here. It is expensive but they have a good selection. For some reason they only have black licorice like every 4th time I visit.

You know you're soaking your customers when your prices are more expensive than 24/7 convenience stores.

Was waiting at the deli counter to buy a salad. There was a young man with his head down doing something. He was completely ignoring me. I waited a fair amount of time and he still ignored me. Then I noticed he was texting on his phone. He never did acknowledge me. I just left

I went through the self checkout and my tap wasn't working. Great. So my wallet is out in the car. I pass my groceries to the attendant and let them know I'll be just a moment I'm grabbing my wallet. I'm embarrassed but I'm also thinking about how much time this is going to waste now. All my fault too.

Well, I come back in and the attendant, Cindy (that's what it says on the receipt, I was in such a hurry I didn't check!) has my groceries and my bill all made up on the customer service desk, and she's watching out for me and calls me over right away.

RUDE MANAGER. Don't ask for one they will kick you out of store for complaining. Ty Soby's for 20yrs customer.

Sometimes there are good deals But usually more expensive BUt layout is good and most staff are friendly

I don't live nearby this location so I'm not a frequent shopper here but every time I come in my experience is awful. There are way too many ill mannered employees here. (The old short woman behind the hot appetizers counter was so unnecessarily rude) No type of customer service skills whatsoever. If you can I'd avoid this location whenever possible.

Just love the lay out of the store. Easy to find products. Their vegetables and fruit section us always looking fresh. Great store to shop at.

Great selection of deli foods - hot and cold. In-store bakery makes a nice carrot muffin.
Also a good selection of beers and wines.
You can request paper bags at the checkout, which is good to see these days.

Great fresh food, some unique food options but “Mike” was grumpy and short with me when asking when something out of stock would be back. I like to know what my food situation is going to be; not brushed off with no attempt to find out when it might be coming.

Lots of variety in this store. Store always clean. Bakery has lots of variety. Staff there is helpful.

Great food, pricing higher than average for most items. Bakery and fish counter is a highlight. Selection of eggs is poor (high price for below average selection). We eat a lot of eggs for breakfast. Decent cheese selection and mostly fresh produce. Checkouts can be slow but still faster than Zehrs. We shop here sparingly.

Most employees here have treated me with respect but i had this one young lady give me extreme attitude and gave me a evil look just because i asked a question.

Decent variety, staff are always friendly, aisles are clean. However, I have come across many products in the international aisle as well as other aisles are expired and when you point it out to the staff they don’t remove the product even after weeks! So be careful and check the dates.

Awesome grocery store. Clean, masked & disinfected, well stocked. Staff is polite, quick & helpful. Had everything I needed.

I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that this Store had a small selection of British goods, especially my favourite Thorntons SpecialToffee!
Another great feature of course is their wine selection, all in all a very nice store

Great premade warm food selection.
Cashier assisting customers in line move customers from back in lines ahead of those closes to cash when others opened up. 5 people behind me cashed out before me. Good thing i am patient. Staff should be more aware.

Such a great establishment, competitive meat and deli selections and prices, always have exotic fruits and vegetables, always something new to try!

This is another store that you pay for their ligts to be on all night and day Long. This place has OUTRAGEOUS PRICES! I'D SHUT THEM ALL DOWN IF I WAS IN CONTROL! NO NEED TO ROB ALL THE POOR PPL. Life is already hard as it is. With out their prices being doubled or more.

Not Sobey's fault but I was furious to learn that the government has made every licenced place stop selling alcohol beverages at 8 pm. I still am.

Easy to get around. Great meat staff. Pleasant friendly cashiers. They do disinfect buggies and limit number of shoppers.

Worse shopping experience today DEC. 14 /2020 cashier has no plastic just paper bags she tells me then cashier rips my bags as she loads my groceries, spent 140.00, to have my groceries all over grown i didnt make it to jeep with out rip another of paper bags she gave me. Then charges me 4 brown bags, i only had 3 bags cause she ripped one had all my food on ground. I will make sure to tell others not to shop here as well

Always clean and always fresh. I really like the deli/pre-cooked meals section. All great food for those late nights I dont feel like cooking.

I LIKE THIS STORE BECAUSE HAS EVERYTHING VEGETABLES, FRUITS, MEAT, BREAD, COFFEE, MILK, JUICE, DETERGENTS. ETC. ANYTHING YOU NEED PLUS THE FRIENDLY STUFF AND IS VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. I RECOMEND IT TO ANYBODY TO BUY THEIR GROCERIES.

Great hours, good selection of groceries as well as ready to eat food, and only a touch above what I'd pay for a full grocery shopping trip. Perfect for picking up things you've missed or are out of, or grabbing stuff for a meal. For a full grocery trip I'd recommend a more budget place like food basics, but the produce and meat here is better so if that sways you then here is good too.

Workers looks at you from top to bottom as it you’re nothing. I will take my $300.00 every wk somewhere else!

It's expensive to shop for groceries here but the checkout lines are short or fast if you do self checkout. Only come here to grab a few items.

Was disappointed today went to grab some lunch and every sandwich was expiring today maybe try again they are usually more on top of this

2nd visit.seems like a clean and well stocked store.lovely bakery but my only concern is why are the team members always gathered in groups by the checkout with not one person at the cashier.then I nicely await the end of her conversation to assist me.still yet 3 star. Thx

Have your employees show up at a reasonable time so the store opens on time. Watching them stroll in at 6: 57 is unprofessional. Its 7: 08 and your still not open. Smh

Thank God we are done with Sobeys. No more fight for hours when they just keep hiring. They want free labor and management does not care at all.

Irritated I even have to give a star to rate this store. Called to ask about carrot cakes for my son's birthday.lady proceeds to tell me they have a few out for sale. I live less than 5 min away. I get there and there's not a single carrot cake. Call to speak to a manager and does the manager not start arguing with me? What kind of customer service is that? Don't waste your time asking any questions because the customer is apparently in the wrong and deserve being yelled at? Wow great job Sobeys!

Clean. Well stocked. A lot of overpriced items. Mediocre customer service but it’s a grocery store so i don’t expect much more from staff.

Shop here often, friendly educated staff, clean, organized wonderfully, quiet, which is great for my son who has sensory issues.

An employee stopped me when I was using the self-check out and asked me to scan a product which I already scanned it. I was pretty sure I scanned all my items so I explained to her I am aware of what I was doing. She did not believe me “No you did not” and insisted I have to scan it again. She was so annoying keep asking “Are you sure you scan everything? ” I said “Yes I did”. After a while, she stepped away to check I guess the monitor screen and confirmed my scanned item. What is wrong with her (she’s old blonde white lady with some accent) trying to embarass me? Before you make an assumption on customers at least checked twice. After all she did not even say a Sorry for accusing me

Very clean place to shop for groceries. Nice sushi bar, a good selection of produce and wonderful selection of cheese from all around the world.

The "healthy" isle always has something to munch on.

The store manager at Sobeys on Scott St.has directed all of his cashiers to ask for ID from any and all customers who wish to purchase wine. This is not very smart (i.e. If the LCBO doesn't ask seniors for ID - why should Sobeys?) - and it discriminates against seniors and makes cashiers feel uncomfortable. This store should rethink their policy - or the store manager should be replaced.

Sobeys is our go to store most weeks. Have had fresh sweet lobster and fresh salmon from the Scott st location. This last week we threw out three of the fresh fruit items. Watermelon was hard no taste, sliced pineapple had off taste maybe rubber glove from gloves they use. Just now the cantaloupe that was on sale went in the garbage.
Very disappointed and frustrated with the fruit purchase last week.

I recently went to Sobeys bakery to order a cake for a corporate function. I ordered the cake on Wednesday and was to pick it up on Thursday. When I arrived to pick up my cake it wasn't ready as the pick up was scheduled for the wrong day by mistake. Not only did the bakery manager see that the cake was made in time for the next day, she also delivered it to my workplace free of charge. I felt that I received superior customer service and will continue to order all my cakes from this location.
(I have 5 kids and that's a lot of cake)

This store has great products. It has international dish ingredients like curry paste, ramen, and others.
The Bento Sushi is very good. You can see them make it in front of you rather than shipped. Sobeys has non GMO foods and whole foods. I would recommend this place for friendly staff and good products.

It's a grocery store. I can buy the food that's on my shopping list here. I can also get beer at this particular Sobeys

SOBEYS is a very well laid out grocery store. However, I only go there for e exceptional specials. For example corn is. 15 each and all other stores are. 33 each and up.

I found the deli girl named Jill kinda rude. I asked her for a specific roast beef and she picked up a different one. When I corrected her she gave me a rude look like I did something wrong. She gave me an uneasy feeling. Cashier was very pleasant.

I allways shop at this sobeys not crazy packed allways have fresh organic chicken cooked this is amazing if you have kids there meat prices tend be cheaper then anywhere I checked for organic meat I am not sure about processed allways parking no lines usally I would agree best in the city hands down only thing I would say they would need is more organic fruits the cake section is amazing too lots cool bakery and cakes muffins

The store is always clean and well stalked. The staff is friendly and the bakery and produce sections offer a great selection of delectable goodies.

I get my groceries here almost exclusively. Great quality overall with a good deli for meat and cheese and also good fresh baked goods. Certainly not the cheapest, but worth it.

Couldn't find what I was looking for from the flyer, but staff called another store to confirm they had it and were really helpful:)
