Sobeys South Pelham

Between in store pre-cooked food and a wide selection of items this is my favorite grocery store in Welland. So clean and well maintained. A bit pricey but all of them are nowadays.

Very clean but some prices are outrageous. Friendly older cashier younger ones need more training. Especially like 40 pack of water that they carry-sometimes is out of stock.

This store is conveniently located next to my Shoppers drug Mart. They have a good price on the distilled water for my little humidifier and 12 pack spring water which is easier for me to manage than the 24 pack. Nice selection of plants and flower arrangements. Check out the sale bins at the front of the store.

Fresh ingredients nicely laid out love going there prices are a bit more expensive than say walmart

Staff are friendly and go above to help, store is very clean well organized shopping here is a delight

Always has what I need when I need it. My go to Sobeys location. Shelves are always stocked, and full. Location is clean. The bakery is awesome! Do miss the self serve bakery cabinet muffins though. Haven’t seen the carrot cake one in a long time. Wish they would bring it back!

Wow every employee we needed was on the phone, we waited 10 minutes to get our bread sliced, checking out cashier took a call while we waited.

Asked for a large salad not knowing it wasn't big enough. They didn't ask any questions like for how many people etc. I went tobpick it up and they were like you could just grab another one. We have a party size for 30 dollars? Zehrs has big huge salads for 13.99 and they want me to pay 30? If I had time I would've gone to Zehrs. I know for next time. I asked also for a large dressing. She gave me a small and said that is all they had. The supervisor walked over and grabbed me a big one off shelf. They need to ask more questions

Nice clean and bright store. On the expensive side but has some nice specialty items. Great bakery with nice cakes and desserts.

I LOVE the bakery! I also really enjoy their sandwiches/wraps. Too bad it’s the most expensive grocery store in the city.

Premium grocery store. Well laid out and can usually get in and out quickly. Note they do not make sushi in store so selection can be limited.

I had previously reviewed this store and gave them a 4, not after today's visit.
The sign in the seafood fresh counter said 'Wild Snapper' $9.98lbs so I purchased 2 fillets when the clerk weighed it the label said 'rock fish' since snapper is considered rock fish thought ok, but now when I got home realize it is not snapper that I purchased it just some type of rock fish. Extremely disappointed in the false advertising. Will not be returning to this store.

You can find almost everything you want. Excellent meats, chicken, fish, lobsters, good fresh vegetables.

I found the Welland Sobeys is better than any other courteous friendly service they never seem to run out of their sale items which I find a problem in other stores things are on sale when you get there there's none left not in Welland fully stocked everytime I get there even late and the week

Amazing helpful staff! They are always willing to go the extra mile for customers. And they cashiers are very friendly. Love the fresh produce and they support LOCAL farms! Love doing my shopping here. Oh and they have amazing quality cuts of beef and meats. And a deli section to get some pre made tasty treats like roasted chicken, various wraps, fruit and veggie trays.

The store was clean and neat with a good selection of produce and products. There was only a short wait outside the store due to COVID restrictions.

I tried to get a bith cake but all I got was a hard time because put my nose out of my mask to catch my breath asthmatic. When you try to talk to someone and they turn your back on you and ignore your request. Sorry expect better.

The teller talked to much and the paper bags suck.there are paper bags available with handles.maybe look into that.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Store itself was clean. Some grocery items spots were near, but that can be expected as per the time of the year, Christmas. Overall enjoyed shopping here.

Fantastic service from the deli department! Great selection of products and the checkout staff was friendly.

Recently bought some mac and cheese at the deli counter and it was awful. I had to throw it out. The sauce was completely watered down and the pasta was so pasty it left a terrible taste in your mouth. I've bought it here in the past and it was good but lately it seems like the hot food they are serving is not up to their usual standards. I'll avoid it for the time being.

Further to the hot food deli counter, the staff there is not very helpful and don't seem to be motivated to help customers. This is not a good thing and needs to be addressed by management.

Fast service and good quality foods especially meats. Prices are a bit high but that goes with the quality.

Go into store for sale item and told item not available similar item available but at higher price. Told no price matching and quite rude. Happens frequently at this store. Will shop elsewhere

Looked pretty good despite current conditions. Out of toilet paper, rice, bread like most other places.

I'm a big prepared salad lover. I've been hooked on the Cobb salad, however, went in Saturday night, the boxed caesar salad was on for $3.99.great deal, bought two. Cobb salad, not so much. Really cheaped out on the ingredients, but not the price. A measly half egg.really? Six "bits" of chicken, one bit total fat, there's usually a generous row of corn and bacon and this bacon was more like bits, corn was sparse and lettuce was brown in spots where it wasn't visible, tomatoes, good. Each salad was the same. What happened within a week? Dissatisfied.

Everytime any day, everything is well displayed and easy to find. Prices are great, and staff are all very helpful. Love this store, fresh veggies and baked goods all the time.

Love Sobeys South Pelham! Clean, lots of variety, great bakery, fresh food and friendly atmosphere.

The older hot deli and customer service staff need retraining in customer service skills. I have better, more friendly service when the kids are working.

The store is in a convenient location with great product selection and very friendly staff. I shop here regularly and highly recommend.

Wow everyone i dealt with had a sour face, not one smile.felt like i was inconveniencing them being there.won't be back.

First, it is very accessible. Second, awesome staff. Deli has most of what you need for that critically acclaimed lunch or brunch. Yes, they have The Dagwood sandwich. The hot food section has a large selection of hot meals, sides, & specialty foods. Yes, they have a fantastc bakery and it is well stocked with breads, pastries, & cookies, fatjita's, pita, melba, etc. They have a Flower shop, too. Everything in the store is laid out in the classic linear model which means you get in, done and out to your car quickly.
