Sobeys St. Clair Beach

It’s bad enough that prices have went up but to have to bag my own groceries all the time is ridiculous. This is not no frills and while I bag my own groceries they are pushing the next in line through so I have to hurry to bag instead of at least helping me. This has caused me to not receive all my purchases more than once. If this happens again I will not shop here anymore, I will go to another store.

GREAT inexpensive alternative to calling the florist, 75 dollars all in with delivery for a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Service was great!

Pricier store in the area but very nice inside. Not carrying all the varieties when on special. Also a bit of bait and switch on some specials
Large 10 stem bouquet of Gerbera flowers but they are half the bloom size of their normal 6 stem bouquet.

The cashier guy at #5 on Dec 10th at 8: 00pm (with pinky sized arms and kind of looks like pinky from Pinky and the Brain too) is so punchable omg LOL.

My usual Saturday morning visit. Sadly, they no longer sell IRN BRU, but I still pick up my Wine there along with my lunch for the day.

Enjoy the freshness of items and their wonderful ready to eat food counter that greets you when entering the store.

The cupcakes and Portuguese tarts are not recommended. They were too sweet and days old pastries respectively.

Huge fan of Sobeys. Not a huge fan of having to drive from Walkerville to Tecumseh since they closed their Windsor store a few years ago.: (If anyone in upper mgmt is reading PLEASE re-open a Windsor store. The Metro at Devonshire Mall is the closest it gets to the shopping experience at Sobeys. And RCSS/Zehrs is more like shopping at Wal-Mart. Drop one in the Walker badlands and it would really take off!

The layout of this store is just atrocious. Nothing against the store otherwise, but wow it makes me feel like they are trying to trap me into walking through every section of the store and it's narrow spaces.

This place has the best prepared food around. Our 2 stores in Lasalle don't even come close to this store.

Absolutely exceptional service from Kelly in floral. I ordered flowers from Red Deer, Alberta for my aunt for her birthday. Kelly was super friendly, chose the nicest orchid she had, and put it in a nicer pot for me. This was the best experience ordering flowers that I have had.

Great selection of fresh meats and veggies. Complete dinner made from sale items in this week's flyer.

I don't know but I find this place to expencive for my self 200$ didn't bring much food but quality food is better then other places.

Upon entering the store, mask on, wash hands with rubbing alcohol, grabbed the cart, this was interesting and long, Trying to get through the store. Trying to find the groceries, long isles, following the arrows through out the store.

The service was amazing everyone was wearing a mask some even double. I had to purchase a fruit basket with hardly any notice and they rushed the order without complaint.

They have an outside canopy set up for customers that have to wait. Friendly service and a clean store. Good job and thanks Sobeys!

Great quality merchandise, super clean and super friendly staffing, all together great place to shop if you are willing to spend a couple extra dollars, sales are still pretty decent but being as I am a family man on the B word, lol I wouldn't be shopping for all my groceries at this location, although that is the place to go when looking to give the special one in your life a nice flower arrangement, for a decent price.

Friendly staff, great selection and hot food makes it decent if you're looking for something warm and a bit healthier then fast food. Prices are high however and some of the meals from the hot counter don't taste very good. I will definitely continue shopping here though.

Amazing options in the bakery section, fine cheeses, meats, beer/wine and so much more. This restaurant being open 24hrs also makes everything very accessible! The prices are elevated but worth it for specialty items.

Used to buy cupcakes at the bakery here all the time. But last night will be the last. These were the dryest, most awful cupcakes I have ever had, and for how much they cost too? Can't believe someone is evil enough to actually subject other people to that kind of disappointment. At least warn people that they're old, or discount them. $21.00 for 6 trash cupcakes. Thanks guys.

Nice, clean, staff are helpful, not too much on sale though. Good for quick stop to get couple things, not cost effective otherwise for groceries especially for big family like mine

Good store, the staff is always accomadating especially at the meat counter! Prices are high but is in every big grocery store.

Don't believe I was looking in the right place, but there is not an option for sugar free items here. I find I have to travel to the States for sugar free condiments and cooking options. A sugar free diet can be troubling in this area. I thought I would find items here but was unlucky. Please if I'm wrong, let me know where to look and I'll be a customer for a long time!

The best of all the local grocery stores in my opinion. Store is very modern and clean looking both outside and inside. Always well stocked, excellent variety of common food items, produce, meats, and specialty items (i.e, vegan, gluten free). A bit pricey with some things, but the quality makes up for it especially compared to the other stores close by.

Attempted to order a gift basket over the phone and person taking the order could barely understand English, sorry just put this person on a different job. Just not taking orders. When will these companies learn this? Never going back

Didnt have items that were on sale 5lb bag of white potatoes for 4.99, only 4 varieties of Chapman ice cream that is on for 3.99 shelf was extremely bare and that has been for the last two days.

My kids said it best "We miss the regular Sobeys". Ever since they did the new branding with Sobeys "Extra" we saw our overall experience drop from Sobeys being number one grocery shopping destination, to last choice in the neighborhood. We miss the 24 hrs availability. We especially miss the good low prices and great deals we used to get, and last but not least, please stop changing the locations of items on shelves so frequently! We know what we want, we go to where the item used to be down the isle, and behold! It now has a new location or completely discontinued the item for no clear reason. Furthermore, I definitely don't think switching to airmiles from the previous Sobeys points is worth it for us; I recall I used to cash in points on almost a weekly basis and now with airmiles did so maybe a couple of times in the past year. (I guess the less frequent trips due to the higher or rather "Extra" prices had its impact as well). Nice touch to have the discount coupon on the Shell station, though the nearest station is further away down Banwell and Tecumseh.
I must say however in fairness the quality is top notch, both in service and in products (when you find them), but rest assured you would be paying the premium price (with exception to occasional sales that keep us coming back). Frankly, with Food Basics opening down the road I wonder how Sobeys will survive. Rising food prices have made a huge impact to our family budget and at the height of tomato season, if you still insist on selling 1 lb for $3.99 when everyone else is $0.99 and under, good luck! I hate to see you go under like the other branch in Windsor, but competitive prices are very important in determining our grocery shopping destination. I give 5 stars for quality, and 1 star for pricing, the average is 3. [PS: before the "Extra" fiasco it would have been 5 stars hands down]

Sobeys is usually not my go to for groceries- they don't usually have good sales- but every once and a whole you can get great deals

Large and delicious variety of ready cooked meals, desserts. Deli department is generously stuffed with products for every taste.

I loved shopping here. It reminded me of an indoor marketplace. Lots to great products to inspire artisan meals for your family. There were individual pods for the bakery, for the deli, for the meats and for the cheeses. It gave me a feeling of the old world. Of course there was a section with a wide variety of your day to day convienence foods such as cereal, boxed cookies, granola bars, dried pastas, frozen pizza, eggos, Popsicles and ice cream. It even had an aisle for junk food like chips and chocolate. But the overall feeling of the store was really nice and gave me some great ideas to elevate my meals. If by chance all of that shopping made you hungry don't worry Sobeys St. Clair Beach has it covered. There is a large lunch counter with all sorts of foods hot foods and cold foods. If that wasn't enough there is also a stir fry place right across from it! If you've got the thirst after all of that rest assured this location sells beer! This location is a very clean store with great atmosphere. Enjoyed my shopping experience very much. I will be shopping here again.

Always organized, good produce, lots of great prepared foods. Clean, a little on the expensive side but when things go on sale they're good deals.

I love to come here for the exceptional variety of cheeses! Nowhere else can I find some of the more elusive brands of cheese that this Sobey’s carries. Otherwise, everything here is always fresh. The hot deli is amazing, the bakery is lovely, and they really cater to customers who are always looking out for new flavours and products. They really do hold a high standard and that shows!

Everything is clean, organized, and there is a lot of produce or other items that you wouldn't find anywhere else. I was just dropping in to grab some ribs for the smoker, but next time I'm looking to prepare a special meal for my family or friends I definitely will be back!

Clean and organized. It's not the place I usually shop, but they have cute little carts for my 1 year old to shop with.

One of my favorite grocery stores in Tecumseh, everything is fresh and well stocked, friendly and helpful staff, though the prices are a bit high the quality is second to none:)

Decent Sobeys, went expecting or rather looking for some noble jerky. Unfortunately this location has none, although they do have a decent section for natural foods and dairy free and whatnot.

Very much enjoy the sale on gardein frozen meals they have had.
