Sobeys Tillsonburg

Just bought our regular groceries and Christmas groceries and we only paid $8.00 because of their point system. Saved over $300.00

We like the quality of the produce at Sobey's. Their prepared food items are hit-or-miss (i.e, the Chinese food is awful). I don't like that their cash register lines are often backed up at busy times (and there's no option for self checkout when you have a handful of items. The cashiers are friendly and it's a clean store though, so I continue to shop here.

Clean store, excellent selection of all products, beautiful produce with local asparagus, friendly staff, will definitely shop there again

Store hours 9pm.bread shelf blocking the door at 8: 15pm. Needed essentials including diapers and formula for babies. Not impressed. Update: Zehrs was open as well as Walmart.

Great experience shopping here. Cashiers noticed a line forming and immediately directed me to a new cash they opened up.
Very warm and friendly shopping day!

They do not honor the flyer, instead making signs on item in the area that state selected items only. Unfortunately I did not see it and noticed the charge upon returning to my out of town home. Thought it was an honest mistake and approached the manager on the next visit. She refused the credit, pointing out the signs. The cashier was shocked by her reaction. I can say without a doubt the flyer did not say selected items. Contacted head office who intern sent a message to the manager who said I could drive back in and return the product to get a refund but would not credit the difference. I had already opened 2 of the 8 cans by this time.
It was not alot of money and I've never given a bad review like this before.instead, opting out for the positive but on principle alone, I will never return to this location.

A big shout out to sobeys i had made a mistake yesterday and bought the wrong product and they exchanged it with no problems thank you so much to the friendly and helpful staff

I believe indivduals who are inclined to help others should be merited or given props. Asha earned every one of these stars when she took it upon herself to retrieve a shopping cart for me from the other side of the store. A banal act of kindness to some but it showed the depth of character she possess. Employees of this caliber with the natural inclination for customer service are hard to find and Asha has certainly earned this recognition. Thanks again for your kindness.

Cleanest store in Tillsonburg I've ever been in and the nicest staff members they treat you with respect and they try to help you out as my chest they can and their products are always fresh I love shopping there

Found carbonaut cinnamon raisin bread and other keto items here that we hadn't been able to find anywhere else.

Best grocery store in town imo. I always come here to get the fresh buns because I know they're made daily and super cheap. Everything else is slightly more expensive than what you'd get at walmart, but it's usually worth it.

Great store! I go here for my meats and the prime cuts section are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly!

It's our go to grocery store has everything u need and less then 10 mins away from our house in Mount Elgin. Even has beer and firewood

Bought a chocolate birthday cake July 26 2021 from Sobeys in Tillsonburg cake tasted 2 days old not a big deal but 10 people that ate the cake all got sick. We didn't really connect it to the cake until our family of 4 ate it the next day and all got sick again. They said sorry and gave me a number to call to file a complaint to customer service. Not my job to report your store issues. I will be calling the health department instead.

Overall a great store! Definitely on the higher side for budget.but is always clean, has friendly staff and good quality product. Their operation through COVID has been one of the best.

Good Seafood Section. Great meat counter. Shelves are well stocked most of the time. The only grocery in Tillsonburg where beer is available. Heads up - you can only go to select cashiers with beer. Well signed, but you have to be looking.

Despite the fact that the Ontario government has allowed some exemptions to mask by-laws, this Sobeys will not allow such exemptions. Whatever reasons you may have for not using a mask (whether for health, emotional or religious reasons) you will be asked to leave the store.

This store is clean and has nice cashiers, the best part is they don't use plastic bags, they use paper bags which is great for inviroment.

If you are looking for a place where the cashiers ring your food items through a cash register then u found your destiny.

This is the best place to get groceries in the area right now. They strictly follow Covid protocols, it's not super busy, they have a large selection and the prices are very decent too. The only complaints I have are that the produce can be a bit pricey and they do not offer any discounts on older or less desirable produce which is a little disappointing and I hope they are donating the waste. That being said the produce is always good quality. I usually shop in Aylmer but with the community becoming a hot spot this has been my go to grocery store. I also have to say their cakes are my favorite and they have a fair price for refillable water jugs. I have been buying water here for years, it's very good.

I feel safe shopping at Sobeys because masks are mandatory. My family and friends all shop there too so it's nice knowing they are safe shopping as well. There have been over a dozen cases of covid in Tillsonburg, but the staff are keeping everyone safe by cleaning and sanitizing constantly. Please shop locally during this pandemic, and stay safe!

Very clean store. Great selection and amazing weekly deals. Paper bags available if you didn't bring your own. Friendly staff.

This store has become my preferred grocery store to shop at.
Prices are competitive for the items I typically buy.
They always seem to have enough cashier's open to handle the volume of people shopping which means minimal time waiting in a line.
The store is clean.
And the staff are very friendly.

The store itself is your average Sobey's and mostly overpriced. However, they are fairly well stocked and usually have coupons on the tear pads.

Shop at sobeys it is clean, staff are more than helpful, they go out of their way to make sure you get what you want abd help out. Only grocers in town that have great staff that go out of their way to help you. Thnk you too all staff.

Sobeys staff has always been Helpful and understanding to Those of us Who due to Medical reasons cant wear a mask. I do All my grocery shopping at Sobey's.

Absolutely wonderful! Always courteous. I've never had to wait in huge lineups. They're quick. Since Covid, they've gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe- staff and customers both.

Store is well organized and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Carts are being sanitized after use.

I like this store. It's big and clean. They usually have multiple cashiers open and lineups are not huge. They have bakery and deli. Nice big parking lot. The cashiers are nice and friendly. Air miles. Higher prices then some grocery chains but I still like to shop here.

Good service clean store but one of the lady cashier's with glasses that works at the 8 item and under has no personality not very friendly or inguage in conversation weird

Well, we were there yesterday to get potatoes for the bbq. There weren't any! Another lady was looking for potatoes too. She wanted to make a potato salad. How does a grocery store not have potatoes? We found some at Metro. Three kinds.

I like Sobeys. Always plenty of cash registers open, staff is helpful. Produce has improved and lots of local stuff available. My only wish is that they would carry bags of Lactantia milk. Their milk section is pretty one dimensional.

I didn't appreciate the way the cashier was treated (by someone in management?) after it was discovered that a diaper coupon I used, wasn't just a manufacturer 's coupon but also a store coupon that was not to be used at Sobey's. Even I missed the small print to that effect. Cashiers should be treated better when an honest mistake is made and certainly not in such a condescending way in front of a customer. Shame on her! An apology should be made to that cashier!

Was a quiet afternoon. Fast, courteous check out with a CASHIER! If the other stores in town continue to force automated check-outs upon us, I may be doing all my grocery shopping at SOBEYS.

. This store does something that is rare these days. They offer ground beef in all varieties. Ground beef NEEDS it's fat in order to cook properly. Texture and flavor are both adversely affected by the lack of fat in LEAN/EX-LEAN blends. This fat is absolutely necessary for a decent BBQ burger etc etc. Someone there realizes this. Sobey's was not my favorite store.but the ground beef brings me back. They are getting 50% of my grocery budget now.thanks to the meat dept.

Awesome store.seems to be the only place in town to get frozen spring rolls and keifer.the store has a well laid out parking lot and a simple layout thats easy to find things in
