Higher prices should equate to higher quality not lower quality. Hadn't been here for years. Do they think they have a monopoly?

Limited selection of a number of items. Floral shop level plants die within a week. New construction at the Broadview entrance makes the parking area less than ideal

There's a good variety of items in this store. Prices are higher here than in neighboring stores on non-advertised items. Quality of fresh produce is variable. Advertised specials are often not available. Department heads are knowledgeable and go out of their way to answer customer questions. Some checkout staff are friendly and efficient, and a few act like customers are an inconvenience.

This is honestly the most insanely overpriced place around. When it was 24hrs, I could understand paying a little bit extra for the convenience but that little bit extra is now at least 40% more than other places. Prices have jumped by at least 20% on most items. Even with delivery fees from Walmart, Walmart is the way to go. Everything from salad dressing to BBQ sauce to pecan pie is less expensive for the same product. Unless the item is on sale, avoid this place at all costs! No clue how they stay in business or justify the upcharge.

Clean. Friendly check out person. Limited selection and amounts of products so if you see a product in the flyer you need/want, chances are they are sold out of it.

I found the self checkout person working during the days to be unnecessarily rude. If you don't like your job, please make more of an effort to find a new one. Food preparation lady has a nasty attitude.

Too expensive not too many deals sales are no good that's cheaper and no frills for the same product won't be going sobies again not customer friendly would be nice if staff work in a good mood every time when I ask for help second bothering him so won't be going back there again

Very expensive everything. Especially fruit. Avoid. Food basics has the same no name products and they aren't far from here. No Frills is down on Carlaw and they are much much better.

Smaller location and limited in selection but foods always fresh and the staff always friendly.

Relatively quiet with good selection. There's also a wine merchant near the exit. Was open 24-hours before the pandemic, so hopefully it will resume that schedule once COVID is no longer a threat.

Voula, at the Hot Meals Ready counter is just the milk of human kindness. She prepares the most beautifullly cooked vegetables. Its like home and motherhood.

I spoke to a deputy manager about 10 days ago regarding the inner doors that were mechanicall wedged open. He responded in a rather complacent tone, stating that the stainless steel entry bars precluded the closing of the second set of doors. I pointed out that Sobey's was air conditioning the outside, if they failed to stop the hot air entering from the surge area. He said, in effect, that concern about shrinkage was more important than the environment.
Today, I am happy to report that he LISTENED to me. The inner doors were mechanically shutting after patrons entered the store. And the stainless steel exit bars were NOT impeding the closure.
Retail stores that fail to respect hydro waste need to be called out. In a heatwave, we can all suffer a failed power grid.

Good selection of products and meat. Management team is quality. I had an issue with a product and Matthew was quick to professionally rectify the issue.

I liked shopping here on Sunday mornings the past 2 years because it wasn't busy. The last 2 times I saw some of their staff were not masked, although the cashiers were. So I won't be going back again until the staff are wearing masks.

Good experience. It's been 9 years at this location. It felt strange.

Beautiful place and so much variety. I would definitely go here again. Kind staff. There is parking and a public washroom.

Totally disfunctional this is to be expected by Sobeys. Never have enough stock, and look at the expiration dates, not much shelf life.

As for the Rapid Covid Tests, don't bother
They want to give th out starting on Friday between 10am-12pm. Using this as a tool for people to be drawn in is not ethical. It's Wrong

I have been many times in the early hours like 7-8 AM. I like the store and the cashiers are friendly and pleasant. Sometimes they have good specials. I just go on my morning walk and usually leave the store with some good stuff.

Good selection but the layout is brutal. A mad man designed the layout of the store. Takes 10 minutes longer to find everything. You will like it if you enjoy scavenger hunts.

It was mostly ok. But for some reason or another I found that the produce bags are not in the same places, you have to hunt for them in a different area. Not good.

I'd say this location is nothing short of the standard that any Sobeys location works to uphold! All of the staff are kind and ready to assist you to the best of their abilities.

I was in here looking for something, couldn't find what I was looking for, the employee that I asked for help also wasn't sure where to find the item after first looking where they thought it might be, instead of giving up, they seeked out more assistance from another employee and we were able to get what I was looking for with absolutely no problems.

All in all a good experience, no complaints!

Super expensive but had Hunts Thick & Rich Spaghetti Sauce on sale. Only go for the specials and only if I'm in the neighborhood, could not afford to shop here!

My life saver. Always on my way home. Sometimes you get good sales. Best produce, meats and specialty products. One of of favorite markets. Staff is very nice.

Staff was friendly, store was clean and products were decently stocked. Great overall experience

Cheerful staff and orderly, well-stocked shelves make this place a delight. Best of all, it is never too busy so you don't feel cramped, nor do you feel like you're a survivor of some cataclysm. On arriving, a friendly human offers to sanitize your hands. A quick squirt and off you go. In fact, were it not for this first step, the experience was lacking in all of the strangeness and anxiety that a trip to the grocery store inspires these days. How nice.

Nice place to shop, bit pricey but always good sales. Unfortunately many sales are 2 or 3 for $$. Not good if you are single and don't need quantity. Unfair when stores do this, better to offer reduced price to everyone.
Big deli counter, prepared foods, meat and veg decent.
Too bad they've stopped being 24hrs.
Also, if travelling by TTC, the stop in front must be one of the coldest and windiest with wind blowing across the Valley!

Its always a pleasure to walk into a clean bright place, greeted at the door to spray your paws, clean carts and baskets.

It's more convenient convenience store, it's Walmart if it more focused on grocery and has a great selection of ingredients!

Large, well thought out store with a wonderful cheese / cold cut counter. The friendly, professional staff makes this my neighborhood favorite.

Seafood here is one of the best I have seen. Plus, the service is very good! Cashiers and management are very polite and functional. Love to got there.

This place is great before closing, barely any people, relatively clean, good selection of produce.

I'd give them 4 stars but they throw all their bakery items in the trash each night! I have been there shopping at 9pm and they have already thrown away all the fresh bakery items for the day. This is a waste of good food. Worse yet a pop can and other trash is in the bag so it can't go to compost or recycle. Instead it's treated as garbage. Metro and Loblaws sell day old at discount.

Superb customer service most of the time If you need something, they will get it for you! In and out service.

I love this Sobeys. I've been to other locations but they don't compare. The staff are genuinely friendly and courteous every time I shop here. The Deli is the best I've seen anywhere and the products they create are delicious. A spacious and clean place to shop, I highly recommend this store. I have to assume the pleasant experience I receive here is the result of great management. Thank you to the staff for the effort you make.

Pretty good store! But now they only carry coconut water with added sugar It's a huge store and the staff are super friendly at the entrance. Some overly priced items in here for sure. Lots of dead plants in front

They sell over the counter hot table items, also sandwiches BUT they dont give away condiments for your hot table food, does not make sense,
Cold drink to take away with hot food items only Compliment Brand and very low in selection

Not safe. Staff are not being made to wear masks. Staff are not being made to keep their distance. Not limiting the number of customers in the store. They are however providing hand sanitizer to customers and wiping down carts. But that's not enough. I think their management or owners really don't care about the lives of their staff and customers.

It was great some good deals store floor people were good and our cashier gentle man was excellent and not bad looking

Worst grocery store! Always sold out, 13 different sections for crackers! So disorganized and no one cares. Nice lighting

I want to compliment the cashier "Anna". 5 stars for her, 3 for the stores. Yesterday I witnessed her interaction with a mentally ill man who did not have enough money for his purchase. She was so kind and patient with him.
Quite pleasant being served by her, I almost always go to her when she is there.
This store has a decent meat department, but a lot of produce/ products are more expensive than many basic supermarket stores.

Always liked this Sobeys. 24 hours! Clean, fresh fruit and vegetables. Not liking ad much as I did. Changed over the last 2 years. Cooked food is 1 out 5. Staff, I give a 3 out of 5.

Nice spacious grocery store. Love the veggie and fruit section. Large ready meals section. Better pricing than the nearby Loblaws. Some shelves looked bare. There is a Wine rack inside. Always lots of cash registers open.

It's ok and local, prices are high as you would expect for a sobeys. Smaller location means limited selection.

Sobeys was a really nice store. I went here to grab a sandwich for lunch. I grabbed a chicken sandwich. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly. I had a few interactions in the store. The staff were very helpful. The aisles were clear. I ended buying more than anticipated as I found multiple deals around the store.

Store is nice enough and convenient for a last minute shop, but tends to be overpriced, particularly on meat.
