The food consistently maintains high quality, though weekend service can be slow, which is understandable. Having visited other Turkish restaurants in Toronto, this one stands out for its excellent food and exceptional manager’s attitude which is important to picky eaters like me besides the food. Recommended dish: Chicken shish kebab and donner
Delicious food, especially the Adana kebab. They also have several dishes that other Turkish restaurants don’t have, like sarma and yayla soup. Decent prices and quick service.
I went there with friends. I had already eaten so I only ordered a Turkish coffee and piece of baklava. I'm not normally a coffee person, so I can't judge it but I think it was good. The baklava was amazing, however, and I can't imagine getting it for a lower price anywhere in the city! My friends ordered a chicken wrap and gave me a small piece. It was good and definitely more authentic than from any chain fast food shawarma place. I'd recommend!
Service: As a Turkish Canadian, I was very disappointed in the service from the start, it almost felt like smiling was forbidden in the restaurant, and all the servers were very cold. When I asked questions about the food etc the server answered it almost as if they didn't wanna be there.
THEY DONT HAVE TAP WATER! (Come on guys, seriously?)
Atmosphere: It's right beside a gas station, the restaurant isn't very dirty, but I wasn't expecting it to be a fine dining store anyway.
Food: Besides ice kofte, everything was very oily and underseasoned. Doners (shawarmas) tastes like cafeteria food, lemonade was good, kiymali lids was the worst I tried in Toronto, the dough is good but kiyma was very bad…
Price: The price to taste is 4/10
If you are about to starve to death eat here, if you can drive 10 mins to another Turkish restaurant do so. Even Jesus wouldn't order his last dinner from here
Came here today to try their shawarma wrap overall it was really good and the employees were great and helpful. Place is little small however it's definitely worth trying out.
Always love coming here! Had the Special Konya Pide and the Adana Kebab - both were delicious. They also give a salad with an entre which is always welcomed and actually pretty good. The flavours are always on point and the staff is very friendly.
Excellent service, the owner whom I know for years was off, but the cashier, lovely lady, gave me an excellent take out dinner, both my wife and me enjoyed thoroughly, and the rice too, thank you and we will be back
This was our first time here and boy did it not disappoint. It was meant to be a quick in and out visit but we had our 5 year old foodie with us. He asked tens of food related questions and the server patiently answered his questions and helped him choose his order of shawarma with his choice of toppings. He found it to be delicious. This level of patience is rarely displayed at a restaurant.
We ordered 3 variations of shawarma take outs and all of them were delicious and made to order. We found it to be a very healthy fast food option in this neighbourhood - full of protein and veggies.
The atmosphere is also very nice, ethnic which is always different and beautiful imo. They really don't skimp on their portions.
Thanks ya'll.
Ps: my son just fell asleep after finishing half of his shawarma.
The food was very good here and our server Gabriela was super kind and attentive to our table. She was amazing as were the kabobs! We got several dishes and everything was good. The lamb chops were a bit tough but otherwise all great! Will be going back for those Adana kabobs!
