I had such a great experience with Vandana all 3 years in the row! She is professional with positive work attitude and lovely personality.
It is usually busy during the tax period, combined together appointments and walk-ins. So it is a good idea to call to schedule appointment.
Vandana always reply to my questions with full explanation, since I not familiar with taxes a lot.
Overall, I have a positive experience with Vandana at Softron Taxes, that keeps me back to them every year!

In 2017, I got my taxes done by Vandana from Softron Tax in DT Toronto. Credit to her because a lone employee managing everything takes a lot of effort. Maybe for this reason, they decided to jack up the price 5 times the usual. I ended up paying $250+ for filing my first return in Canada on the basis of just one (my) T4. Because of the service, I decided to give them an extra star.

This a great and convenient place to file your taxes. The staff is very friendly and helpful with information. Highly recommend

Vandana is professional: all explanations are clear, she is very responsive in the email exchange. It was smooth and if pricey, worth the money.

Over priced, dont recommend this place. They told me it will cost 120$ but at the end they charged me 270$. Then last year i did it with another company, did the exact same with only $40.

I went into Softron aware of the great reviews. I met with Akram, who was both very friendly and very helpful. Great guy who did a great job. I will return next tax season.

Made mistakes in my capital gain contributions and way too over priced:
Vanadana had calculated my capital gain as "CAD value of my sold stocks - USD value of my sold stocks" I had to ask her to correct this mistake and tell her what numbers to use when I was reviewing the file, we spent 10-15 mins to fix the mistakes.
Instead of giving a discount because of the mistake they charged me way more than what we had tentatively agreed over the phone:
I talked to Vanadana over the phone and explained what I would need: I had one T4, RRSP contribution, tax credit and RRSP withdrew because of being a first time home buyer, charity donation, foreign assets, and some capital gains.
Vanadana told me she could not confirm the price before seeing my documents but tentatively something around 150-200$ would be the fee.
In the end I was charged for 489$! More than twice of the max price that she had ever mentioned over the phone!

Although the service was good but she charged me thrice the normal amount. After talking to a few people I realised that paying 120 was absurd. Never going back.

Vandana was very polite and professional, and provided clarifications with respect to my tax situation in Canada. Definitely returning to get my taxes done here next year.

The service is great, the staff is friendly, the price is reasonable. I strongly recommend this location for all tax purposes. They have won a lifetime customer in me for their excellent service.

Vandana is a great Tax consultant and provided us with correct suggestions in filing our taxes. A must visit if you need your taxes done properly.
