Chitra was very helpful and responsive. Was able to do all this over the phone and email during the pandemic.

Today I went to the Danforth and Victoria Park location and was greeted by Chitra and David. They were super helpful, fast, experienced and knowledgeable. I had many questions as it pertained to my complex tax situation and they put my mind at ease. They got me more than I would have got anywhere else compared to places I have used in the past few years. They are cheaper than HR & Block! Fives stars all the way, not to mention, parking is free! I have been doing my tax with Softron Tax Inc at Danforth Ave for many years. They never made mistakes and my tax never be reassessed by government. They check the information very carefully. The staff who works at Danforth is really nice and knowledgeable. She gave me lots of valuable suggestions and saved my life. She specialized in both Canada Tax and US tax. I strongly recommend people to do tax with her.

If i could rate it ZERO stars I would. The lady that runs the place is completely rude. Her attitude needs to change. Also if you are looking for a place to mess up your taxes and charge you $90 to do so then this is the place to go. Rude Customer service. Worst Experience. Will not go to this location. Need better Accountants. Also these people never relay any information back to you. They are like broken telephone.

It is impossible to describe in words how impressed I am with Softron Tax. I've been doing my taxes in other places for many years, but this year I had an amazing experience filing with Chitra. My return was always very complicated due to my U. S.citizenship, and every year, there is a mistake by the accountant and I end up have to clean up the mess myself. But here at Softron, I was able to finish the return at ease, at only a fraction of the cost I paid.
TLDR: Go to Softron to get your taxes done!

I visited this place based on the positive reviews but it seems like those comments were given by friends/relatives/fake accounts. I'd give 0 star if I could. Chitra seemed to know very little about accounting but wanted to charge a fortune for her services. Not only that instead of trying to help me, she spent some of her time brushing me for nothing which is a sign of an insecure person. I got my work done by a very professional accountant at 1/5 of the price of what she was asking (a whopping $4,000!) and not only that I saved a lot from tax too. Keep away at all costs!
