Our family had an absolutely amazing experience dealing with everyone at Solda. I've dealt with hundreds of construction companies over my 20 years in home building and real estate development and I can confidently say Solda Pools is one of the most professional and reliable organizations I've come across. Chose this company after much research into prospective pool companies. Family owned and operated. You deal with principals at all stages of the design and installation. They went to great efforts to work with us on design and budget. The good news is they delivered on all aspects of their construction and service. The workmanship and craftsmanship are exceptional. The workers, all employees of the company as they do not use outside contractors, were meticulous in all aspects of the work. Moreover, the Solda family members were on site working with the crews to ensure the work was to the company's high standards. The company was quick to respond to every query and issue. Now the not so good news. This company is a premier company with a premier price. However, you get what you pay for and years down the road, when the price fades, you are left with a magnificent pool and landscape that the family can enjoy for many years. Would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Working with Solda for our new pool was a great experience. With their 30 years experience, they don't miss what other might miss. We enjoyed the fact that their work is fully integrated ie the Solda employee are working on the pool from A to Z - no outside contractor. That makes them much more accountable than any other company. They finished the pool ahead of time and on budget. I highly recommend that company for your new premium pool build.

This has been our third job with Solda pools and once again the job has been done better than perfect from start to finish. The Solda's were amazing from the first design virtual appt to the planning, construction, install, landscape etc. Solda pools were always accomodating, attentive, so easy to work with and got back to us right away with questions.
Nick, Andrew, Frank, Peter, you guys are so friendly, knowledgable, approachable and we feel so comfortable working with you and trusting you always! All the staff were awesome. You are the best pool and concrete workers ever! We have had issues with other concrete conctactors, and you guys were our saviours with our big patio. It looks amazing. Our acid etch in our past 2 homes have received countless compliments.
Dave the landscaper answered all my questions and helped so much with softscape planning. He installed our beech trees so perfectly.

This past year we have dealt with solda pools for our in ground pool and surrounding concrete & design. I didn’t know that companies like this still existed until dealing with them. From the very first email to Sandra with my questions in regards to pricing up until this review, this company is extremely professional, hardworking and deliver quality and pride in their work. They have a department for everything. The Solda family are involved in the entire project themselves as well. They respond immediately if you have any questions or concerns and have it resolved. My neighbour’s informed us that a sprinkler line was accidentally cut during the digging process and they came the very next day to fix it. Even the port o potty was removed promptly. I am so happy that we dealt with them & our family is enjoying our backyard and creating the memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Solda pools!

We purchased a home with a solda pool.in the less then 2 seasons we’ve been living here we have spent upwards of 15k fixing everything on this at the time 5 year old pool.some items we have replaced twice! Pool heater (they put a chlorine heater on a salt water pool so it rusted out in half its life span 7k) new salt cell, 4 burnt out globrite lights ($1k each light) replaced the pool filler 2 times now! Polaris vacuum Hose attachment, new remote for system! (2k) … 5 jet caps in the pool and hot tub…. It never ends! I feel like this is a nice looking pool but poor quality for sure!

none of the issues we’ve had have anything to do with maintenance of the pool water …but yes we do maintain the pool we have a professional company maintaining a pool for us …can you tell me why you put a chlorine pool heater on a salt water so that it rusted in half its lifespan?

Yes I paid another pool company to replace all the parts that have failed but the original parts were all from you

After assessing the numerous available options, we contracted Solda Pools to design and build a new pool and cabana. We were not disappointed. As a family owned and run company, it was obvious from start to finish that Solda takes great pride in delivering a quality product. Throughout the process they provided excellent advice in a highly professional manner. All in all we were very satisfied with the overall experience and we now understand why they command so many solid reviews.

Just had our pool liner replaced by Solda. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Josephine in the service department gave us great customer service. She was prompt with responding to our queries and helped us through the entire process. She was always very professional and courteous and kept us informed. Andrew and Diego did a fantastic job installing the new liner, and we extremely pleased with the result. Andrew went above and beyond to help us get our pool closed too. We would highly recommend Solda Pools.

We’d like to start off by thanking you all for the amazing job you did on our backyard, we couldn't be happier with the end result.

The decision to choose a company for such a large project wasn’t an easy one but from the beginning a few things, among many, stood out that put Solda on the top of the list.

First off this is a family owned and operated business and the Solda’s have a hands approach from beginning to end. While other companies sent out sales representatives, the first person we met at Solda Pools was Frank Solda who walked us through all the steps in redoing our backyard.

Furthermore, Solda does not use sub-Contractors which means everything is completed by their own in- house staff - to us, this was one of our biggest factors for choosing Solda. From start to finish the whole team worked together to provide a seamless experience, and the project was completed to our expectations and without delay.

Our project was completed in mid-November so unfortunately, we did not get to really enjoy it (although me and the kids snuck in a couple snowy day dips) however we look forward to the warm summer lounging around the pool and entertaining.

Special thanks to Frank and Rosetti for helping us design our backyard. Andrew, for being on site regularly to oversee the completion of the project and dealing with all our concerns. I’d like to also thank Marco and his crew for their punctuality, professionalism, hard work, meticulousness and of course some good laughs and conversations.

Highly recommend Solda. We had a fairly large job for a pool, spa, deck and landscaping. Our lot is on a ravine and the backyard sloped so given the by-laws etc it was a challenging job. Everyone we dealt with at Solda were very knowledgeable, responsive and proactive. Special shout out to Andrew, Nick, James and Dan! They would always get back to us quickly for any questions or follow ups. We never had to chase anyone which makes for a stress free experience. We love our new pool and backyard and couldn’t be more satisfied with our choice to use Solda!

Almost 9 years ago, Solda created and constructed our gorgeous pool respecting our design wishes and working within our limitations (a smallish backyard with challenging access for digging machines!). It was a delight to watch crew after crew complete their work, always respecting our neighbour’s property with each job completed. Attention to the smallest detail, capable workmen, Nick, a great project supervisor, and the patience of Job resulted in a pool we continue to delight in; still perfect after all these years.

Solda doesn’t stop there. They provide terrific Service after all the construction and landscaping is done. Over the years, we’ve been sent capable service people, many helpful, a few who didn’t impress, but the majority great. Quite often, we hit the jackpot; we’ve been fortunate to have Will, head of service, come by to put things to rights with his endless knowledge, perseverance and problem solving abilities. I can’t count the number of times he’s provided the solution to the problem and saved the day.

And in the office, Jo has been of great help; efficient and effective at the same time, pleasant and helpful, responding quickly to questions and requests for service. Even the young people in the water testing/onsite shop are for the most part knowledgeable and helpful.

If you’re thinking about a pool, consider putting your trust in Solda. They won’t disappoint and will provide service for years to come. Solda is in this business for the long haul and their commitment to their customers is a testament to that.

I have gone to Solda pools for supplies and advice for 10 years or more. Staff have always been knowledgeable and helpful. I recently had a problem with elevated stabilizer levels in my pool. Kim was especially helpful (and patient) explaining the water tests and in the resolution of the problem.

Thank you for turning our backyard in to our little paradise. The entire process from start to finish has been entirely seamless, well organized and extremely professional. You said in the fall when we started the design process that we would be swimming by the May long weekend and you delivered.minus the weather but that was out of your control and we were able to have our first swim with the heat turned up!

Frank your ability to come up with an ideal design for our yard to maximize the pool size, site lines from the house and decking area impressed us as well as the transparent quoting process. It was by far the most thorough and well-structured process we encountered. When construction started in the late fall it was like clockwork and progressed extremely well to get the pool shell in before the winter break. When construction resumed in the early spring, one of the benefits of the COVID pandemic was we were able to be home to watch the transformation unfold, we really enjoyed watching how organized and efficient everything was and it just put us at ease knowing we had the top guys in the business working for us during such uncertain times.

Now that we are into the heat of the summer, we are extremely appreciative of how the entire Solda Pools team came together to deliver in such uncertain times. Out of all the home renovations we have done this was by far the most seamless, well executed project.
Whenever people on Facebook groups or in the neighborhood ask us about the pool and process, we have such positive things to say about Solda Pools and recommend they call you.

It’s been about 18 months since Solda installed our our pool / hot tub, cabana and deck and all I can say unequivocally is that Solda as a company & contractor is the best decision we made for our home. From the owners all the way to the foremen, each member of their team is respectful of your hard earned money, professional and will never cut corners. Everyone on their team is in house and there are no subcontractors. I had opportunities to meet many of the guys working on my home and was pleasantly surprised at how many Solda members have been there for 10,15 and 20+ years. Having over 15+ years of exposure in construction it’s a pleasure to see people show passion in their craft.

We interviewed the city’s top pool builders and while a few of my friends used other providers, when my friends come over they are blown away by the finished product of Solda. It should be noted that their maintenance program has been fantastic. We use them for weekly service and they always arrive on time and do a great job, rain or shine. I can’t tell you how nice it is in a world like today to have people who care show up on time, with a smile and a do a great job.

For those contemplating a pool, you have likely worked hard and are doing your research. Having a custom pool built is not something you want to cut corners, so going with a reputable firm is the way to do it. As for the well known pool builders in the GTA, Solda was the right choice. They respected our budget and property, worked in a tight timeframe, never made a mess and constantly communicated throughout the project.

Pool building is not cheap and while some people call around asking for quotes over the phone, this is the wrong approach. Every site has it’s factors that will effect pricing. From the first time we met Frank he was patient and answered all of our questions. Frank, Peter, John or Andrew set Solda apart because they are 1) family owned & in house operated, 2) professional engineers who think about things like water flow, TRCA, and work with your desired vision and 3) are on site supervising, not a third party or a rookie. For those reading reviews and deciding who to go with, Solda will exceeded your expectations as they turn your vision into the best part of your home.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the initial consultation to the startup, Solda pools delivered first class service. Frank even used a compass to figure out which way to orient everything so we could maximize the sun on our deck. The biggest selling point for us was that they had all their own crews. NO SUBS at all. We always had a contact on site, so if we had any questions or wanted to make any last minute adjustments to the design, we got answers right away.

My parents bought a Solda Pool over 25 years ago and we were always impressed with the quality of the build. We look forward to enjoying over 25 years with ours.

Lady gave me a quote over the phone and kinda brushed me off saying a simple family will cost me at cost of $120,000. I called a few other companies and they were 300 to 500% less price to build a simple pool. Giving you 2 stars for picking up phone on time.

We searched for a reputable pool company last summer & heard that “Solda Pools was the best” from our colleagues and real estate agent, but they truly exceeded those expectations.

We received quotes and consultations from the top 3 pool places and Solda was the only company that impressed us. First of all, they took the time to sit down and perfectly design our dream back yard. Their extensive experience allowed us to see all the options out there and pairings we wouldn’t have thought of. Moreover, whenever we made any changes, they were 100% open to it and never once complained about having to change things last minute. Their goal was to have us entirely satisfied.

I’d say one of the biggest advantages for Solda pools is that they staff all trades in house. Throughout the project, each team that came in to do their specialty knew exactly what they were walking in to, what needed to be done and left things perfectly set up for the next crew. Most other pool companies outsource a large portion of the work (they don’t tell you that) - it leads to contractors pointing fingers at one another, delays and headaches. We had NONE of that when dealing with Solda. The owners were immediately available if we had any questions and frequently came by to check in on quality and our satisfaction. The quality of their work on our pool, landscaping, cabana, deck, fence etc.is, without a doubt, THE BEST of all I’ve been to/seen.

I rarely write reviews or give referrals but this is one that you will not go wrong with and at the end of the project you’ll be ecstatic with the workmanship. Be prepared for your home to be transformed into an oasis with Solda!

Reading some of these reviews. Unfortunately we were also ripped off by an employee of Solda who drives a company van. He came highly recommended by a friend who had their pool installed by Solda. We’d heard so many good things about Solda and since “he” worked there for 10+ years, we believed he had integrity. Employees like this really gives the company a bad name!

We decided to have a pool installed in 2000 and after interviewing a number of top end pool companies it was totally clear that Solda was the company we where looking for. Their professionalism starts at the top and goes to the basic entry level employee who couldn't be more helpful and responsive to the customer needs. We have had the liner replace just this year and again same professional approach and delivery of service. I buy all my supplies and equipment from them and have frequently done comparison shopping but nobody can touch them for quality and service. Dave
