Soleil Tanning and Spa

Usually a great place to tan. A bit pricy but the machines are great and it’s a clean studio. They shut down months ago due to a water main and there’s zero communication about reopening. It’s very disheartening as a consumer to have your voice messages not responded too. This isn’t how you build customer loyalty. When are you reopening?

Purchased a lot of credits and they’ve been closed for months. No communication letting us know what’s up at all.

Unfortunately they have been closed most of the winter with NO communication to clients. I purchased a large minutes package and have not been able to use them due to temporary closure. My biggest issue is the lack of communication with clients.

Bulbs not changed. Very poor poor results. Bed was dirty.
Receptionist extremely rude.
Go to Sol Exotica on Front Street or LUX TANNING.
The customer service is really bad here.

I’ve been going here for a decade and I have always had a good experience. The staff are always friendly and the place is very clean.

I had a pretty nice experience yesterday, it was my first time going in and getting tanned on a tanning bed, I was pretty scared at first, but Shelby is very friendly and helpful, she showed me how to use the bed and reassured me. Also this 8 mins tanning session miraculously cured my headaches and drowsiness which I’ve been suffering for days. I’ll definitely come back again, it’s a super convenient location in downtown, would definitely recommend if you want some tan living in the city.

The staff was amazing, the ambiance is glam and the beds worked perfectly. I felt like a millions dollars when I was done there

I suffer from seasonal affective disorder and decided to see if using a tanning machine would help. I noticed a difference after my first session and have been going back since. I would highly recommend the salon, their beds are fantastic and it is super clean, their staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the salon.

Now that my kid, and mother, who I cared for through out the thick of the pandemic are safe, I decided to return to the regular activities that are open at this time, like tanning. However, when I went in for a session, I was told my minutes expired (over 100 minutes valued at <$100).

The receptionist went on and on about how I bought the minutes in March 2020 (literally weeks before the first lockdown) and how they did me a fAvOur extending it to January 2022. (I found out when I went in for a tan the week of February 7,2022). She claims she told me in July 2021 when I went in for a tan, I claim that sort of information would've made it into my calendar - all heresy.

Either way, nothing was provided in writing, nothing was noted in the marketing emails they send out and apparently nothing could be done when I went in that day, which btw, I was going in with the intent to use my minutes and buy more to help tackle the seasonal depression I'm experiencing right now.

This company could've done more to support the customers who had a surplus of minutes going into the pandemic. The way they went about informing customers seems very shady and completely ignorant to the fact that although they were permitted to stay open through out the last set of restrictions there was still a highly contagious and highly transmissible variant running rampant in Toronto and not everyone had the luxury to enjoy some freedoms because of their situations at home.

My advice, go somewhere else, this place has higher prices than other salons out there. Invest your money & business in a company that values and has empathy for it's customers, unfortunately this place is not one of them.

I've been going there for years and love the experience. The owner is a delight to deal with and treats you like family. Warm feelings all the way around

This is the best Tanning Salon I’ve ever visited in Toronto! Great hygiene, always decorated beautiful and cozy Spa.
The staff is always friendly, Sonya is working there for a while, love talking to her, she’s an amazing soul.

Soleil Tanning Spa is a great place to tan as well as affordable prices and the staff are very knowledgeable about the tanning products and which bed may suit you. They go above and beyond for cleaniness and sanitizing this was always top priority even before the pandemic as well very spacious, never crowded. Now with the crazy new world we live in I still feel safe and comfortable coming here to tan just like before. Everything is wiped down, sanitized, sprayed and clean. The tanning beds are awesome and the vast array of tanning lotions that they carry. There's something for everyone. I recommend tanning here, it's clean (very clean) and affordable. Sonia the owner goes far and beyond, she's about family and customer service and making sure your visit to her salon is a safe and pleasant. She puts her clients first and as well as the cleaniness from day one. If you need a tan I highly recommend coming here. That reminds me I need a tan guess where I'm headed to Soleil Tanning Spa. Toronto strong and Canada strong.

I came across this cute tanning salon located right in the center of downtown on Yonge Street and decided to check it out. They had amazing promos which sold me at first, but it was their customer service that made me their loyal customer. The manager and staff were all so friendly and fun to talk to! Not only they were professional, but they were such sweet people. The place is always clean and well-maintained. The ladies really know how to heighten your pampering experience!

I highly recommend this place as your go-to tanning salon if you live downtown.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everything is very clean, nicely organized, and the themed decorations make it an experience instead of something on the checklist. I feel very comfortable going here, considering COVID as well. I see the efforts in cleanliness first hand, on every visit. Highly recommend going here!

The receptionists over the last few years have been lovely *especially Lulu! Insightful, helpful and accommodating. Clean, good package deals for tanning, and will renew expired minutes if purchase new package. Been going here since 2007. Thank you!

Excellent location. Super friendly staff. Top quality beds! The high pressure beds could really use fresh bulbs.but it’s an amazing value at about only $15 a tan if you have even a small package. Definitely check them out.

I just started going to this location because it’s now closer to home and I really like it. Please note it is not wheelchair accessible because it’s down a set of stairs.

Prettiest decor I have seen thus far for a tanning salon! The facility is really clean and the receptionist was very warm and friendly. And the prices are VERY reasonable! Overall a very pleasant experience!

Very friendly staff, also great deal for first-time customers. Definitely a very convenient location as well, with plenty of beds so there is always something available. My only complaint is that the beds are old and do not have built in fans.

The place is nice and clean, but some of the staff here could learn to be a bit more polite and have a happier look on their face. Overall an average place.

Ive been going to this tanning salon for years; Id say on and off for abput 10 years now. I came back after 4 years and the owner Sonia knew exactly who I was - names dont matter ; she just knew me. She makes sure her customers get the best experience that they can get - all employees give great knowledgeable advice on what time and lotions they're customers need. If you are a tanner this place is a must try. Great clean tanning beds - face tans, spray tans, lay down beds and stand ups ; all bulbs changed on the regular for an optimal tan. They even sell amazing bikinis. I truly wouldnt tan anywhere else. Ive tried many salons all across downtown toronto and NOTHING beats Soleil! They offer teeth whitening and much more. You gotta try this place.you'll see what im saying.

I love this place. The staff are not only fantastic but their also gorgeous well trained lady's. I totally recomend this wonderful establishment. The tanning beds are state of the art the place is always very clean full marks for Soleill tanning and spa!

I have to say, the whole experience is just fabulous. From the time I walk in the door, to the time I leave the spa. The atmosphere is clean, positive, bright and that's not even mentioning the great customer service that I enjoy during my visit. The ladies at the front desk have been very helpful whenever I have questions. They know their business. I am always happy to recommend Soleil Tanning Spa. *****5 STARS
