We bought an apricot and it was spoiled, we wrote and waited to get an answer. Return and customer satisfaction are completely 0. It's both distant and unnecessary waste of time.

Their baklava is incredibly sweet! Most likely glucose syrup was used. I do not recommend! (You can tell if glucose syrup is used in the food you eat by burning your throat)

Amazing Turkish grocery store/deli.
Its very clean and organized. The have a good variety of meats. I really like the Solmaz brand pepperettes and the Halal Haribo gummies they carry.

-There's also a fast food restaurant in the same store.

I went there because a colleague recommended their breads. It was good and we all liked it.

Be careful when purchasing baked goods.
Drove 30+km to them to buy lahmacun and it was covered in MOLD! I reached out to them for a resolution and they didn’t get back to me. Sad! Go to Urla foods instead. Much more fresh and welcoming!

When I first walked in, 2 employees looked me in the eye and didn't greet or acknowledge me. The rest of the staff didn't even bother to make eye contact and completely ignored me of the rest of the visit. The quality of the meat was average. Not worth coming back back

Great place. Been there twice. A lot of variety especially meats. Sujuk especially the one they make locally on location is superb.

I tried them out a few months ago they were good. I went in with my husband who spoke Turkish and I got a great service
Few months later I went back in asked for a cut of meat to be weighed then to be grounded he took it to the back
It was ready in literally 5 seconds and it looked so fatty. When I asked he said this is the cut you asked.
I went home it smelled off and was all dark in the bottom.
I am very disappointed and I feel like i have been ripped off. Charged for lean cut and given a fatty piece in return.

Amazing Halal meat and deli. Lovely Turkish Dessert counter selling Baklava and Turkish delights. Great customer service.

Terrible customer service, not only that but also have bad meat, expired smells bad, bought a beef salami ate the sandwich the next day I got sick, went in to speak with them about my experience, disgusting response from the owner, if I could give this place 0 stars I would.

I really appreciate for the Halal products. However, variety is less and is very dry especially Bologna and Salami also not spicy enough. By the way, I buy your products and enjoy eating them.

Small hidden gem. High quality fresh meat and amazing Turkish snacks. I also love their beverages imported from Turkey.

This was our first time. We were extremely impressed by the quality and quantity of fresh and packaged produce. Much of it Turkish oriented, but eg the meat counter had a broad selection of Canadian style cuts at reasonable prices. They also had many home made dishes. We sampled a dip called "Ezme" - from sun dried tomatoes. It was delicious and we promptly bought several of their dips. And all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

Today i got the best lamb chops from there! And was gifted some crazy garlic herb spices! I love their meat! I always go there for stew meat, steaks, chicken and lamb chops! Their spicy kabobs are also the yummiest! But most of all the staff is wonderful and very helpful!?

I don't usually leave public reviews but I will make an exception for Solmaz as I looked for a decent butcher in Toronto for years and finally found the right place! Despite living on the other side of the city, I drive half an hour to get all my meat from Solmaz every Saturday. The meat is always fresh, high quality; they always greet you with a smile and the prices are great to top it off. Moreover, you can find pretty much all of the authentic Turkish delicacies here (kokorec, tripe, butcher kofte, Adana kabab, etc.) Top notch place! If you ever end up stopping by, ask for Yurt and he will take care of you.

I recently bought such a delicious all beef and chicken salami at Costco. My whole family loves it! We're so happy with the products and will be definitely your future customers.

Really hard to know where to start; staff are very friendly and professional, yet helpful and knowledgeable. Goods are endless from meat (lamb, beef and chicken), yet any cut you want is there. Privileged with extensive Turkish food / varieties making it a complete joy.
This place is selling Halal meat.
But i can assure you that you will love this place if you are a BBQ guru or burger lover (the best; ask for lamb), or Picanha cut.

I have had veal bacon and turkey sausage and both are amazing. For halal to be so high quality is new for me. My favorite part is I find it's not to salty. Really impressed and looking forward to trying new products!

I have been driving to Solmaz from Hamilton for more than 2 years now, the quality and the prices are always the best. There is a GREAT selection of meat. I realized they also started selling some Turkish products which saves the trouble of going to a Turkish store. The staff has been very nice as well!

Just discovered this place. İt's a Turkish grocery store. They have a lot of ethnic Turkish foods and expanding apparently

Two stars only because the staff is nice.
Yesterday I went and purchased chicken thighs. The ones on the counter were old so they offered to make them fresh. Took 15 min but I was happy to get fresh ones. When I got home I noticed they had rushed the processing of them. Bones tendons skin still in the boneless chicken thighs.

In the pictures you can see a pile of the stuff I had to cut away to get clean meat.

I did my shopping in this boutique store over the weekend, had a family get-together on Sunday so I was planning to get some chicken meat.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. The store had a special on marinated chicken thighs and wings in different flavors, so I got some drumsticks and wings among other meats and products. The meat was stored in my fridge overnight. The next day to my surprise, chicken drumsticks were already spoiled, smelled pretty bad, stunk up my kitchen! Wings were still ok, but chicken thighs were not that fresh as one would expect. It never occurred to me to check my purchase at the store for spoilage, I was trusting the freshness!
So this was my first time I visited this store and for sure it was the last one!

Solmaz is the only market I go to to buy Turkish goods. Theyre ALWAYS fresh, price is great and staff is absolutley amazing.

Its needs to be unorganized company.more than ten times i called them to ask a question about delivery for business but every time they pass me and say somebody call you and.last time he told me maybe and disconnect the phone.i am regular of another halal company named alzahra and they are so respectful and helpful to their client.i am writing this review for owner to improve the customer service.but their product are so good.thanks for attention.

L bought pastirma from this store. It was delicious but fatty. My advice is that the price of pastirma can be a bit lower. The store is clean l reccomend.

Every product has been outstanding. The owners are fabulous and give great ideas. Try their Adanas, kufta, or go crazy with one of their delicious tomahawk steaks. Awesome products and reasonable prices.

Altough, meat products (sausage, salami, turkey slices) are very good; I am extremely disappointed with the minced and chopped meat (hopefully beef) I got. I specifically asked for low to medium fat, however, when I tried to cook I found out the meat is overly fat (you wouldn’t even need oil to cook it) and the smell was bad as well. This is very challenging to find fresh halal meat sold by honest folks these days: (

This place is the place to get halal meat. They got all the cuts. Also have pre cut and seasoned meats ready to cook. There is a top gun burgers inside the joint as well which is fantastic.

Very clean shop. You can find traditional Turkish food like Pirzola, Kokorec & Iskembe. Employees are friendly too. They know what they are doing well.

Loved their full range of meat selections. They have all types of last Deli meats (Beef & Poultry), Fresh Meats & Marinates too. Very impressive. Loved their Top Gun Steak & Burger though a few tables available. Amazing Service and very friendly Staff. All meats are certified Halal too. Will be coming back for sure. Highly advise anyone to shop & war there.

Super clean and orgnized place, maybe there isnt enogh space for parking but remember you can use the car wash parking beside them
