A decadent and diverse chocolate experience. They have a variety of chocolate offerings and a coffee bar to suit.

My favorite was the spicy maya hot chocolate “shot”. Basically a Dixie cup of pure chocolatey goodness designed to throw your pancreatic insulin production into overdrive and induce visions of Quetzalcoatl. Not for the faint of heart but a delicious experience nonetheless.

Not the cheapest but they seem to take their chocolate very seriously. If you want to spend $3 on a Mars bar there’s always the Kim’s down the way.

Heaven in a cup- Soma’s hot chocolate. Especially the intense shot instead of mixed with milk or water. Rustic setting, a low key Charlie and the chocolate factory feel when one looks at the chocolate workshops they have. Wide variety of chocolate bars and baked goods. A must visit and a definite must go again place.

Best hot chocolate in the city. I get the spicy Mayan from time to time and their chocolates are always top tier. Always great service and the staff is kind and knowledgeable about the products.

One of the only bean to bar chocolatiers in North America. Incredible hot chocolate and food chocolate bars.

The flavours are inventive and the chocolates are good quality.
The products are expensive though.

Personally, I truly love their dark chocolate! The taste is super rich and pure!
Highly recommended chocolate shot if you do love dark chocolate.
Classic chocolate with hot milk is also a good choice!

Come here every year during the Christmas market and get a hot chocolate-they are to die for. The dark hot chocolate is made from such rich chocolate, but it’s not too sweet. Can be made with water or milk, and both are delicious.

We had some hot chocolate and it was very delicious. Definitely will come again if I’ll be around

This store is located in one of my favorite spots in Toronto - The distillery.

Their products are delicious and a great option for gifts. I love their spicy hot chocolate - Maya and they sell it to make home or to bring back home if you are a tourist.

Really busy during Xmas time. You should expect a line up.

If you have ever been you will be willing to go through great lengths to go again…. Next time I’m in the GTA I will go again…. For the biscotti, gelato and of course THE chocolate.

Got the blueberry basil and Peach flavours - both were very delicious! I was a bit hesitant at first of the blueberry basil, but I love blueberry and they complimented well with each other (basil also wasn't too strong). Would definitely come again to try the other flavours!

The ice cream was excellent, chocolate was also very good. Nice ambience and very cool chocolate flavors.

Best ice cream of my life! I first take hazelnuts and vanilla! I couldn't resist to come back couple minutes later to try cherry and mango with 3 friends! In addition, the waiters are extremely friendly. I recommend this experience of flavors!

Typically for take-away but they do have very limited tables and chairs if you really want to sit in. Good selection of chocolates and gelato

A dreamland for chocolate lovers! The shop is full of beautiful and tasty products: currently (Easter time) there is an impressive variety of chocolate bunnies (I got toasted white chocolate - which was delicious). There are also chocolate bars, bon-bons, truffles, spreads, cookies and drinking chocolate (both as a drink and to make home). The store is very spacious and just pleasure to visit - even if you're not planning to buy everything - even though it is so tempting.there are a few tables at the back of the store, and also "a patio" on Tank House lane with some benches. Gelato is available during hot months.
SOMA chocolate products are perfects for gifts - for their rich assortment and beautifully designed and decorated packages.really great quality artisan chocolate. The staff is very attentive and welcoming and super fast.washroom for customers.

Visited the Winter Village for the first time. Honestly stopped into SOMA because there was a long line outside but it was definitely worth the wait! Everything I got from this store was rich and delicious. The drinking chocolate was perfect for the chilly day. Would come back here again but maybe on a less cold or busy day.
