Somerset West Community Health Centre

Staff have always been lovely, kind and helpful. Wait times are long, but I've never minded waiting. Tracy at the front desk is always a pleasure to see, and the doctors have always taken the time to properly listen and understand my concerns.

This place is fantastic. Our whole family has been seen by a number of doctors here for over 20 years. Fully integrated community health care, with doctors, doctors assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other services like dieticians, chiropodists. I wish that this model of community health centres was more widespread.and better funded

Ever since the safe Injection site the China town community has gone down the drain. All these guys care about is the money funded to the them so they can keep the safe Injection site open. They don't care what goes on locally. My car gets broken into once to twice a year average! Packages stolen, house broken into not to mention they love going into peoples backyards and help themselves. On top of that I went for a health issue they didn't even know what I had lol if I could put negative 1000 I would

The staff at this health center are true angels. They sincerley care & do everything they can to help their clientelle. In fact they go way above & beyond to what they can to help even work from home on their days off.

I dislike this clinic they are rude and you can never reach a doctor when you need to prescription are never renewed in time they don’t return pharmacy calls the phones are never answered your on hold for up to 30 minutes as I am right now this place should not be Government funded any longer

I have been to emergency now have been trying to get an appointment to see my Doctor Dr. Partridge with no success period. Mind you if i was an addict i sure would have seen her by now. Phone isn't even being answered messages are not being returned. Great way to treat a Patient. Elizabeth Parent

With a child with mental illness and addictions not all support staff has best interest in your child’s well being. Some of The support staff are enablers and are taking advantage of the the people who use the center. Rehab is a much better and safer solution!

FYI, this isn't your typical walk in clinic, its clientele are junkies, homeless, crazies, and other unproductive members of society. As you can imagine, customer service isn't very great and wait times are long. I sat here for over an hour without seeing anyone, and the branch closed after that. AVOID

Such an important place to help address addiction, mental health, harm reduction and saving lives for the most vulnurable people in our society.

Went to them for help/referrals for mental health problems and was not taken seriously what so ever. They ignored me in the lobby, serving people who had gotten there an hour after I had. If you need help with this sort of thing please find somewhere else. You won't find welcoming help here.

I received extremely rude service from the nurse at the drop in on Friday May 10. She was very abrupt, spat out unkind questions and overall was not what I had become used to at Somerset West. I’ve visited great nurses at this location however I would not recommend the nurse who was there yesterday at all. Very unkind possibly racist who knows

One of the worst customer service. I made an appointment for 1: 40 on July 13 with Laura Kollenberg, I arrived at 1: 20 to check in, sat in the waiting room for a good 30 mins to see Laura take the next client that was after me, I waited another 20 mins then asked the front desk on the second floor what was happening and she told me that I was a no show, then I was told to wait even longer, I was being very patient but that is just unacceptable so I asked the lady again a little after for a rough estimate and the lady told me she doesn’t know. Then a whole hour passed of me just waiting, I honestly have never been mistreated like this before by any other clinic. If you want an appointment do not go to this one, unless you want to wait and be late for everything else. Oh yah and also I just left because if it takes this long I don’t want to be associated with such a place as this. Also just so you readers know, this appointment was made a while both prior to this date. WORST SERVICE EVER! DO NOT GO.

Got my CPR Level C certification here. The instructor was very helpful and did a great job of teaching proper methods and techniques.
