I purchased a new snow blower and the tent like cabin that can be added to the snow blower (the cabin was not a special order as they had a number of them for sale in the store) spending a little over 4,000$. My husband returned the cabin to be charged a "stocking fee", for the return of the cabin, really! Not impressed!

I've been a customer for 4 years and have always received great advice and service from the staff at SOS. Most times I go in looking for parts so I can perform my own maintenance. Today I just wanted a belt for my snow thrower. I left with the part, some extra knowledge and a demo of the battery powered snowblower I also asked about. Three years ago I was looking for a small generator. I wanted a small and quiet Honda model but wasn't sure if it would power my MIG welder. They invited me to bring in my welder to test it out. The small 2200W inverter generator wasn't up to the task but they suggested another small 2500W magneto generator that has served me very well. I have no hesitation endorsing the service and product line offered by SOS Power Sales.

Our Honda 9.9 HP outboard motor from the 1980's is working better this year than it has in a decade, thanks to some great work from the staff at SOS! They didn't just do the minimum amount to get it running, they made sure all of the components were properly adjusted and maintained. In terms of customer service, my 19 year old daughter brought it in and worked with the staff to identify all of the work that needed to be done - they were friendly and helpful with her. The cost was a bit higher than expected, but the results were awesome. We will be bringing our outboard motor back to SOS!

Just picked up a new Honda Generator. It was already to go with gas and oil and they went over all the ins and outs of use and maintenance of it before I left the store. This kind of service is rare these days.

You know that despite all the inroads we’ve made into misogyny there are still dinosaurs out there.

Just had a terrible run-in at SOS Power sales in Ottawa on Clyde.

Don’t buy from them, don’t use them.

We had a one year old $4k generator with less than 100 hours we bought from them that won’t start. After $400 in repairs ($260 to rent one while it was being repaired) & the generator won’t start again once we get it to the camp.

Less than a week after they “fixed it” They won’t honour the repair or warranty.

Completely dissed by the old white guys.

I’m called “that woman” & wanted to speak with my partner.

If anyone has any contacts regarding generator repairs or with Honda Canada it would be appreciated.

Great service from first contact to delivery. Filled out a contact form after hours and was contacted the next morning about a Honda generator. Kevin answered all my questions and set a delivery time that was convenient for me. Delivered with a smile and some hands on instructions on how to store it until I needed it. Great service I recommend S. O. S.if you need a generator.

Paid for my lawn tractor Friday morning.they delivered Friday afternoon. Tractor came ready to go with gas. You don't get this service at the big box stores. Their equipment and service is top notch. The tractor is a beast. Looking fwd to doing more business with S. O. S.

I bought my first Honda lawnmower from SOS many years ago. Then moved to a different part of town much further away. Bought a Honda snowblower from someone else because of availability at the time. A few years later I had a starting problem with the snowblower on the first big snowfall. I was not looking forward to lugging it to a dealer and back for service or paying for transport. SOS talked me through how to drain the bad gas as nothing was broken and I was up and running. I've traveled back to them since then to buy a few things like a battery and spark plug just for my appreciation of their help. It pleased me to travel to SOS today and buy another Honda lawnmower. I recommend Honda power equipment and I recommend SOS - been great to me.

Excellent customer service with my parts needed. Went inside for the first time after driving by frequently, I was impressed with what they have in display. Parking is the only issue unless you can manage getting around.

I received top-notch service from the people at S. O. S Power Sales, both over the phone and in person. I purchased a snowblower which they had ready to go for me very quickly. As I told them when I was in the shop, I am quite pleased with how easy it was to do business with them. Quite happy to recommend them.

I called this company looking for a needle for a Briggs and Stratton carburetor. I explained to them that it was hard to find the correct parts for it. The women was very nice and looked up my parts for the model I own. She said she could get the needle for upwards of 50$ but she said the supper seeded number was available in a carb rebuild kit for cheeper. That’s what I ordered. (what would you choose?) she says it’s special order and would take about a week to get. She never said I couldn’t return it if it was wrong. If she did I would have said no! I was clear that correct parts are hard to find. Next day the parts are in? I’m not sure how they could charge me 9 dollars shipping on a special order part that in the next day! I picked up the parts and the are wrong. So I called them back and of corse they wouldn’t take them back even though it was their mistake. They transferred me to a guy that wasn’t helpful at all! When he said there was nothing he could do for me I simply said so you stole 60 bucks from me! He was very ignorant after that! I suggested he call Briggs and Stratton to try to rectify the situation. Then he hung up. No joke, 4 minuets later he left a message that said he called Briggs and Stratton and they said the parts are correct. So I decided to call Briggs and Stratton. I talked to a guy there that said the carb rebuild kit number they gave was correct. So I got him to bring up the picture of the original needle and the supper seeded kit needle. The new needle is wrong he said and provided me with the correct needle number. My carb has a brass seat with a needle that has a rubber tip. The kit they got has a rubber seat and steel tip. They are not reversible! Original needle number is 691782
And the kit they gave is 792383. I’m only writing this review so they can see that they are wrong and should take the part back in exchange for the correct number I have provided here. I will change my review if they rectify this problem! As of now the customer service sucks!

I brought my 15HP Honda outboard in as it was not working properly.
I originally paid $250 to the local marina at the cottage take a look at it but it still ran very rough.
S. O. S. Power Sales/Service were thorough in their repair explanation.
It started on the first pull and is running very well.
Couldn't be happier.

I searched the entire city for a coil for my tractor then found these guys called and left a message they called me back 20 minutes later and had the part on the shelf great bunch in there I will be back 100%

Excellent service. I don't usually do reviews, however my experience with the parts staff had to be recognized.
I have an old snow blower, that I wasn't hopeful that I could get running again. They had the experience to find and have what I required in short order.

I brought my snowblower in for service. Paid about $300. When it was finished they tested it and said everything was fixed and there were no issues with the machine. When I tested it, there were new problems that did not exist before bringing it in for servicing. I asked them to fix the problem they caused and they refused to do so. I'll be notifying Craftsman about this terrible service - they should not be one of the only authorized dealers for Craftsman snowthrowers. Just terrible.

Ordered myself a Honda snow blower here. Very great inventory at the store and very kind employee's. Kevin helped me with my purchase and helped find me a cover that would fit my snowblower since Honda didn't make one specifically for my model. If you are looking for a top of the line snow blower, you can definitely get it done here. Looks like they have great stock of other small engine machines like lawn mowers and leaf blowers as well as accessories. No comment on their repair services because I haven't had anything fixed from them but If I do ever have an issue with my snowblower I'll probably try them out first.

Great service, fixed our snowblower faster than predicted and thoroughly described the fix. Even charged for half hour of labor instead of rounding up to an hour. Very happy with them!

I recently needed parts for a mower and I got very good service. The snowblower we had bought years ago was delivered right away because they said they were just delivering in the area. It came with a demo.and tips for maintenance. I noticed online that it came with assembly and was lower than the big box store.

Amazing service here! We have had issues with our plowing g service all year and finally had enough of them.
SOS lined us up with the best snowblower for our needs and had it delivered a couple if days later. So happy that we got our Honda snowblower here!

I purchased an Echo PB770 backpack blower in October for $767. I did many reviews between between the Echo and the Stihl BR700. Both are very capable blowers but I liked the features more on the Echo. I picked the blower up and the technician ran me through the start-up procedure. When I got home I did exactly what he had shown me and the blower started up perfectly. So I began blowing some leaves and suddenly the blow nozzle separated from the swivel pipe! I stopped the blower and re-attached the blower nozzle to the swivel pipe. The issue was none of the nozzle/swivel clamps were tightened. Once re-tightened the blower performed as I expected.it was great. Now, my only concern is I was charged $12 plus tax fee for a Pre-delivery Inspection which my opinion was a fail.
UPDATE: As promised I have received a check from SOS for the Pre-Delivery Inspection. The response and action of the owner of SOS was impressive and will go along way in building customer loyalty. 5 stars for their action on my review.

I live outside of Ottawa and i call 5 different place to deal for a Honda snowblower. Finally sos power sales was my choice. Not only for the price cause they equal on price. But i talk with Kevin and he sound to be a very honest man and with a very good attitude. He new is product and in no time we agreed on a price. It's my first time i do business there and i can assure you it wont be the last. Thank's to Kevin

I have read a lot of negative reviews here that could be dealt with by simply raising the matter with manager. I spoke with one about a concern/misunderstanding, and he heard me out. I heard out his side of the story. We agreed on a compromise. They don't pretend to be perfect, and if not, they are reasonable in resolving misunderstandings.
