My wife and I hired Soular as the band/music for our wedding last May. As far as thier performance as a band I would have given 5 stars, however the bands DJ responsible for the first dance songs accidentally killed the music on my Mom and I right in the middle of the Mother/Son dance. We were left in the middle of the dance floor in dead silence for what felt like an hour but in reality was about 2 minutes until it got rectified.

Ruined a critical moment of my wedding, and I can say that as good as the band was at times - nobody has mentioned much about Soular and the DJ besides the awful moment the music stopped during one of most important parts of the night. Band (and DJ) were very apologetic, but all kidding aside with what this band charged for their services it’s safe to expect much more during crucial points of the reception.

I can not recommend Soular in good faith after the major let down suffered on my wedding day. Some things can’t be repeated and this was one moment that was unacceptable under any circumstances and can not be undone.

Soular made our wedding absolutely unforgettable! Sandy was amazing to work with throughout the planning process. Their performance was beyond incredible, capturing the hearts of every guests. With an extensive repertoire, they flawlessly adapted to the crowd's vibe, ensuring everyone was on their feet. They even learned a new song for my husband’s family die-hard Bills fans called Buffalo Bills Shout. The energy they brought was electric, never missing a beat throughout the night. Soular nailed every aspect of our wedding from start to finish.
Their duo’s acoustic renditions for our ceremony helped set the perfect scene for our big moment, while their killer band absolutely brought the house down during our dance set. It blew people away - we were shocked how full the dance floor was for the rest of the night. No one wanted to stop dancing. From an organizational aspect Sandy and his team made everything so easy, and were amazing to work with. Their experience was invaluable as they gave us so many helpful tips and suggestions that all added to the event. Soular is an outstanding band! They played at our daughter's wedding and guests of all ages were on the dance floor as soon as they started playing and only left it when their music stopped!
Band leader Sandy was accessible, professional and a talented musician. It is a 10 piece band with a fabulous brass section.

Soular was UNREAL! Sandy was such a delight to work with and very accommodating. The band learned new songs for us, and was incredible throughout the entire night. Soular brought the party! Live music was really important to us for our wedding, and Soular knocked it out of the park. They delivered an energetic show, and sounded even better live than in their recorded videos. They didn't come with a predefined setlist, but rather seamlessly adjusted/curated the music and energy based on the audience's response. They had great transitions between their songs, when bouncing between the band and their DJ, and especially when fitting in our requested recorded songs. To top it off, they do a killer hora! Sandy was easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable and excited in the days leading up to the event. Highly recommended and hope to see them live again!

Just book this band! They truly made the party! Planning with them is a breeze - Sandy is responsive and easy to work with. During our venue visit he made recommendations on how the band and Dj set up could maximize the vibe we were trying to achieve and his lighting and staging recommendations really helped transform the space. They kept the crowd dancing to the end…. Our friends and family continue to talk about how great they were. Cannot say enough great things about them!

Working with Sandy and the rest of the Soular band was a blessing for our wedding. Incredibly expansive repertoire and top notch performers made it an experience that we and our guests will remember and cherish. Sandy was easy to work with prior to the wedding in terms of mapping a set list yet also nailed making the right adjustments feeling out the crowd in the moment. 100% recommend.

Could not have had our perfect wedding without SOULAR. The band manager, Sandy was incredible to work with, he went above and beyond, basically acting as our Wedding Coordinator as well! The band was Fantastic and kept the guests dancing and excited all night long. We're already thinking of the next excuse to hire them again!

After attending a friends wedding last year, we knew we had to have Soular as our wedding band. They brought the energy for the entire night which meant the dance floor was always full. Soular is also incredibly flexible, learning specific songs for the ceremony and first dance, which made our day all the more special. We cannot say enough good things about Soular and recommend them for any Toronto wedding.

Soular made our whole event! Sandy and the team was fantastic to work with through multiple Covid postponements and a venue switch - they were so accommodating and always responded promptly.
The day of, setup went off without a hitch and everything ran on time. The music was INCREDIBLE! We had multiple dance sessions (before dinner, between speeches, and late into the night). All 180 guests at our wedding were dancing non-stop.
After our big day the thing people remembered most was how great the music was, and we've had several guests reach out to ask if we'd mind if they used Soular for their events (and of course we passed along their info and said definitely do it!). No matter the event, you'll be in great hands with Sandy and Soular - they are well worth it!

My husband and I first saw Soular perform at a bar. The band's energy and their ability to get the audience up on their feet made it easy to choose Soular as the band for our wedding. And we're so glad we did! Soular's performance really brought our event to the next level. (Also, Sandy Mamane - the band's manager - is terrific to work with: he's accommodating, helpful and professional.) I would highly recommend Soular to anyone who wants a band for a special event.

The only cautionary note I'll add is that we were not prepared for how much AV/lighting would add to the total music bill: while Soular's fee was reasonable, the AV/lighting company's bill was almost as much as the band itself. Since this company was the exclusive AV/lighting vendor at our venue, it was difficult to negotiate rates with them. So I'd advise anyone who is price sensitive to get quotes from both the band and their venue's AV/lighting company before moving ahead with a booking.

Soular gave an incredible performance at our wedding. The band brought the energy to our reception getting our all wedding guests dancing after our appetizer! The sound and interaction with our wedding guests was a highlight of our wedding. Sandy was exceptionally responsive and professional throughout the whole process. We saw and heard all the major wedding bands in the city but none compared to Soular’s performance. Highly recommend!

Wow! We are still on a high from our wedding but such a large part of the high comes from the Soular team. They outdid themselves playing music from all genres at a high level. They were amazing from providing excellent ceremony music to engaging with ourselves and our guests all night. Are you reading this review because you're wondering whether or not to book Soular for your wedding? Well then you can stop reading because JUST BOOK THEM! To put it in context, the dance floor was never empty, multiple guests lost their voices from singing along and it's 5 days later and I still can't fully feel my feet from dancing so hard. We do not even have the right words to detail just how incredible it was having Soular at our wedding. We stayed on the dancefloor from the moment Soular started to play until the moment they stopped (sorry to the rest of our guests who wanted to talk and hang out.). All of the artists in the band are SO talented and they put 110% into their performance. They weren't just there to perform because it was their job. You could tell that they genuinely were feeding off of the energy of the crowd. They were at the venue doing soundcheck while we were taking photos before the ceremony and we were already dancing then and that was only their soundcheck. It was truly the best party of our lives and it wouldn't have been the same had Soular not been there. ALSO, Sandy is just exceptional at what he does. We trusted him with any and all advice he gave us since he had worked at the venue before and we obviously had not. Sandy recommended that we get up lights because the venue was dark and he was absolutely in the right to suggest that. We are so glad that we had Sandy as our musical sherpa for the wedding.

Soular was absolutely phenomenal! Not only was the music top notch the night of but, working with them leading up to the event was great! So responsive, so organized, so AMAZING! Everyone can't stop talking about how insane our band was! Our guests were on the dance floor ALL night! They didn't want the party to end, thanks to Soular! I HIGHLY recommend Soular for your wedding, absolute best decision!

My wedding was a dream and I was the first one on and last one off the dance floor. Sandy was so responsive and organized with everything from planning to set list, they did everything and I didn't have to lift a finger, all i had to do was choose the vibe and share the itinerary with them! They were a little pricey but it was worth every penny. Multiple people said to me "So and so never dances and they're up there dancing! " no one sat down at my wedding, the setlist was enjoyable for for all ages. We used their Dj as well who completely understood what music we wanted and multiple people also said they didn't even realize that when the band started playing it WASN'T the DJ! Thats how amazing they were live. They truly made our wedding better than ever and we are so happy we chose this band, can't say enough good things about each and every one of them, they are all SO talented!

After all of the amazing recommendations and seeing them perform at other weddings, we knew that Soular would be the perfect choice for us. We wanted to party and Soular brought the party!

Throughout the wedding planning process, Sandy and the entire Soular team were incredibly professional, approachable, and easy to work with. They listened to us, collaborated with us, and even came for a site visit to listen to the acoustics! Not only are they extremely talented, they also know how to work the crowd! Seriously, we had guests dancing until the venue was kicking us out. Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding band and we would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to hire a band for their wedding.
