We send our pup here 3 days a week, and he loves Ally and her team! There are always so many dogs for Buddy to play with, and he always comes home happy and exhausted!

I recently took my Golden Retriever, Charlie, to Soulmutts for a day of dog daycare, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely amazing experience! The staff at Soulmutts is so friendly and welcoming, they made both Charlie and me feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door.

Not only was the team at Soulmutts incredibly friendly, but they also went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Charlie can get a little nervous in new places, but the staff took the time to really get to know him and make sure he felt comfortable during his stay. They even followed all of the specific instructions I gave them regarding his diet and exercise routines.

Throughout the day, I received photo updates of Charlie having a blast and making new friends. It was such a relief to see him enjoying himself so much! The facilities at Soulmutts are top-notch too; there's plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play.

I am truly grateful for the exceptional care that the team at Soulmutts provided for Charlie, and I will definitely be bringing him back for more doggie daycare adventures in the future. If you're a dog owner looking for a professional yet caring environment for your pup, I highly recommend giving Soulmutts a try.

Fabulous-our little schnauzer has become much less anxious coming here. Day or night we don’t worry when she is in their care.

We bring our Vizsla here and he always comes home super tired and well rested. This is a particularly challenging breed as they are known as the velcro dogs because they don't like to be alone. I've tried leaving him with other places and he always comes back with anxiety if he's isolated or doesn't get enough attention.this is never the case with Soulmutts Love that they have a huge outdoor space in downtown Toronto. It has made my life so much easier since we started bringing our dog here. We love the staff and we love how much space our dog has to run. We couldn't be happier to have found Soulmutts!

I recently had an exceptional experience with Soulmutts when I enrolled my beloved Shih Tzu in their dog daycare facility. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted by a team of friendly and caring staff members who clearly prioritize the well-being of every dog under their care.

A terrible business owner - I unfortunately saw her roughly grooming a German Shepherd. The poor dog was so nervous. Any dog person would have realized this and stopped. The owner is SoulMutts didn’t.

If you love your dog - don’t patronize Soulmutts - they play a numbers game. The dog daycare rooms are overcrowded and not monitored properly. NOBODY was in the small dog room - when we entered they looked so confused and lonely.

Mixed feelings about this place … took my Dog for over a year during the weekends so I could run errands during the days.

Every-time we picked him up he smelt of horrendously of pee, he was bitten on two separate occasions - the last few times before having to call it quits at soulmutts my dog would start crying when we would try and drop him off, and would do his best to run back into the car on how traumatized he was.

Looking at other reviews, it seems the hygiene on the premises is not the greatest as dozens of people have also complained in regards the foul smell of urine after picking up their doggos.

Albeit the staff is quite friendly at pick-up & drop-off, not sure what happens behind closed doors though.

SoulMutts was very accommodating to my request to put my dog Suma in the daycare for an unforeseen trip to Toronto. They were super fast in responding and forego the assessment part after they collected the vaccine information. I felt trusted when I said that my dog is well-behaved and well-socialized even though she had never been to a daycare. Suma had a great time there, as evidenced by the pictures the great staff sent me by text messages to update. I now know that there is a reliable place I can send her to when I go to Toronto. Highly recommend this place.

The staff is the worst part about this business. Their apathy is everything wrong with pet care because they’d rather have your money than actually care about your bestfriend.

My experience is unique, I left my dog and when I got home she was scared, starved and hurt. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and was met with hostility.

If you’ve read this far, run, far away, your dogs well-being is not worth the what-if, don’t make the same mistake.

The most wonderful place for the pups in your life! The staff are incredibly accommodating and I truly cannot thank them enough for helping me out! My dog absolutely loves Soulmutts and comes home happy as can be (and tired of course!). Very grateful to have found these folks!

I’m very cautious and sometimes nervous to leave my dog (Argos, Golden Retriever) with anyone other than my family but I am grateful to the staff at Soulmutts who take great care of my pup. I have used both full day daycare and overnight services and have no complaints. Highly recommend to any dog parents who are in need of extra help with their doggos.

Great place to board your dog. Wonderful caring staff, great facilities. My dog Annie loves staying there, she gets so excited when she knows she's going to stay there. What a relief knowing your loved puppy is being so well cared for. Cannot say enough good things about Soulmutts. My go to place to board my girl when I go on vacation.

I still bring my pooch there even after I moved out of the area. They are amazing and my pooch loves it there!

Amazing employees and playground! They are super sweet and professional. My dog had a really good time there, played and slept. I'm glad that we found this place to let her play safely and happily.

Ollie (my dog) has been going to SOULMUTTS since we moved to Toronto in 2018. They have been the best thing for him and for an anxious dog mom! I was so worried about finding a reliable dog sitter/walker/boarding location/groomer, and SOULMUTTS provides all that! They are so accommodating when they can be also! I never have to spend my time worrying when I am away from Ollie as I know he’s in the best hands. I trust SOULMUTTS the way I would a family member to care for my dog! They’re highly responsive, budget friendly service! Can’t recommend and praise enough!

My puppy loved going here for daycare! Their hours are perfect for people who need to get to work early (they open at 6: 45 am). The staff are very friendly and respond to my texts promptly throughout the day. My pup seems well exercised and happy when he leaves and is definitely excited to go whenever we drop him off. We see lots of pictures of him having fun. The place is a little bit out of the way but never any real traffic when dropping him off or picking him up. The only downside is that the area is industrial and there is quite a bit of dust around but otherwise the best daycare option we have found in Toronto.

My interaction with Soulmutts is mixed. Some of the staff are lovely, but my email interactions with Alison were awful. Her email etiquette is just very poor. I recently emailed them with a simple question (do they have staff onsite 24 hrs for boarding). Instead of just answering “no”, she said that commercial facilities don’t have staff “sleeping at work” like as if it was a bylaw or illegal. It doesn’t take two brain hemispheres to know that most boarding facilities have someone on site 24 hrs- these are not staff sleeping at work, but staff paid wages to do night shifts. I wanted to like Soulmutts but in using their services for a week.my conclusion is that they are too disorganized and have no customer service whatsoever.

Appreciated the prices and the dog walking services provided but could never get over the unprofessionalism and disorganization of this place, which eventually led me to stop booking my dog into them.

A few examples:

1.very late start to a walk without notification

2.moving their entire operations without notifying us (we showed up to drop our dog off for daycare on our way to a wedding, to their River location, only to discover after texting and calling them, that they had moved? Wth. This was not only a time issue (we were late to the wedding) but a money issue as we were travelling by taxi)

3. They set up automatic deposit with a completely unfamiliar name, and I had to email them to ask who it was I had just sent money to

4. Excessive fees for credit card payments without proper notification

5. And lastly, the time I confirmed an early drop off for daycare would be allowed only to show and find nobody there. Another client showed up, still no one. I received bogus instructions through text of how to open a lock box with repeated instructions in ALL CAPS for how to open this lock box (why this was even my problem is beyond me). Then employees showed up-and still couldn't open the thing. And more texts saying "this makes no sense. " You're telling me!

Also just the usual unresponsive website, poorly written emails and communications, lack of email etiquette and general haphazard-ness. If your expectations for the ancillary parts of running a business are low, and you don't believe any of these worrisome reviews about dogs being mistreated, then you should be fine with Soul Mutts.

Love the kennel free boarding, lots of outdoor dog play space and friendly staff.booking online is easy, as is payment. Not cheap, but worth the $$$ for peace of mind. Or dog loves going and comes home happy.

I had only ever boarded my dog once before, and it wasn't a good experience so I was apprehensive about ever doing it again and have been able to avoid it up until recently. I visited a bunch of local boarding facilities, both big and small but wasn't impressed until I found Soulmutts. I was really blown away with the staff's knowledge regarding dog behaviour and their needs. They seemed to actually really care about the dogs and enjoy being around them. (I have worked at a few local doggy daycares and can say that's not always the case) I was sad and scared to leave him, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about. I was given a few updates while I was away, and it was obvious my pupperino was having the best of times. I felt comfortable enough to leave town a second time, knowing he was in good hands. On our walk into the facility the second time around, he was pulling on his leash, wagging his tail and was so excited to be going to see his friends again. He bounded through the door and greeted the staff members like he missed them and was so happy to see them again. That made me happy, knowing his sleepovers are fun experiences:) I'm so happy that I've found a safe, caring place for him to be taken care of if I need to go away again. Thanks Soulmutts!

Not only do you know that your dog is being taken care of and treated in the best possible way while you cant, but they are the most compassionate people you'll ever meet! The facility is great with huge rooms and spaces out back for them to be free with each other and all dogs that are here for however long are happy, healthy and loved. You can rest assured knowing your furry family member is in a great place! I cant thank them enough for taking my baby Daisy in and providing such a great home for her while i am unable to. Great place & great people, thank you so so much!

Love Soulmutts and how good I feel about dropping my pup off there for daycare or for boarding. Our dog is very active and high energy and just loves this places because of the space and their huge yard. Other daycares were just too small for Hercules, so we're so glad we found SoulMutts. All the staff are super friendly and give us cute updates about Hercules. Would really recommend SoulMutts.

My puppy is a rescue and is a bit fearful of people. Soulmutts took great care of him! Rishi loves hanging out with the dog pack and I always feel safe leaving him under Soulmutts care. They genuinely care for the dog's wellbeing, and all staff are super friendly!

My dog is a recent rescue who is a bit sensitive & often nervous around other dogs. I needed to board her for a few days and was worried she wouldn't be able to handle an environment with a lot of dogs. We tried meet & greets at other places but they weren't good fits. But the staff here were great and helped introduce her slowly - I believe they have a number of rooms/gates so they can adapt the groups based on the dogs' needs. My dog did lose a bit of weight while here (which was fine, she's on a weight loss plan) so you may want to send your dog with a little extra food since they'll be playing so much!

This place has been a lifesaver for me. While my place was being renovated, my pup, Eddie, was picked up every day in the morning and spent the day here. He was always in a great mood when I picked him up and after our long walk home, he was 100% tuckered out.
These guys really love dogs and it shows.

My dog started walking here about a month ago and I love it. He's way more tired than he used to be when he got home from walks with my last dog walker. I got to see everything when I came in for my interview. I asked a ton of questions and they explained everything. I saw my dog playing with the other dogs and saw where he would play during the days. I go out of town twice a month so I will be leaving him there overnight as well. He's got a lot of friends. I ask for updates and they text me pictures while I am at work. Perfect fit for me and my super high energy dog. He needs space to run, he needs social time with other dogs and with people who know what they are doing. Thank you, you guys are life savers!

I came home one day to find my dog limping and lethargic – he had been at Soulmutts earlier in the day. After doing an inspection on the leg he was favoring I found a large puncture wound, obviously from a bite. I immediately checked my emails to see if I had received any kind of communication from Soulmutts that something might have happened. There was nothing. I then emailed them to ask if there had been any kind of altercation – it was at this time that they tell me there had been “a small fight” between him and another dog.

“Small fight” is an interesting phrase for something that results in my dog having a puncture wound from a bite so bad that it went through a layer of muscle.

I didn’t want to overreact, so I refrained from pointing fingers. Although I will admit I was frustrated; not so much about the bite – accidents happen, but that I wasn’t made aware that it did and that they had apparently noticed nothing. I felt that not enough attention was being paid to my dog. Instead I decided to ask if they could clarify their policy on alerting owners when issues arise while on pack walks. The entire conversation was a mess – they came off defensive, claiming they were too busy most days to send emails until later in the evening (which is why I wasn’t alerted about what happened with my dog? Unclear to this day), and I was made to feel that the altercation my dog was in was minor and not warranting any kind of communication.

Fast forward a month later, after my dog has undergone surgery on the wound, is healed and ready to go back to playing with other dogs. I decided to give Soulmutts another go; I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and again didn’t want to be that owner who overreacts.

I booked him in for appointments but noticed when I came home that he was still very energetic. I started to question if he was being picked up at all. Here’s the thing about Soulmutts: they give you no assurance that they have actually taken your dog out for the day – no pictures, no communication, nothing (they will tell you they are too busy to do this). I decided to call to check: got someone on the phone who said she would speak with the owner to see what was going on. I get a follow-up email from the owner that confirms my concerns that he wasn’t picked up. I had booked 4 appointments for him via their online booking system, those appointments came and went with me not knowing that they weren’t following through on them and they sent no communication to tell me that they weren’t or the reason why until I followed up with them by phone to check.

The reply by email that I finally got was this: my dog suffers from ‘highs’ which were explained to be, “when he wants to play with a dog he is ALL over them and sometimes the dog likes it and wants to play back. However, if the dog doesn't want the attention and they give him the cues, he doesn't pick up on them and he keeps going and going, despite our corrections and commands. He jumps all over them (and us) and we’re afraid it’s going to result in another incident”

My dogs an 11-month old Golden Retriever – a puppy. Of course he’s energetic; that’s what puppies are. He’s been well socialized since he was 7 weeks old. He goes to a dog park every single day, playing with new and known dogs, young and old. He has never shown aggression to any dog and I have witnessed first-hand that if a dog shows any kind of signs of not wanting to play or aggression towards him: growls, snarls, barks, snaps at him he runs off to either play with some other dog or eat a stick. If you can’t handle playfulness and energy in a dog then maybe you just shouldn’t be taking care of dogs, period.

I’m done giving the benefit of the doubt. I doubt their ability to properly care for dogs, I doubt their ability to give a person’s dog the proper level of attention, I doubt their ability to properly communicate with their customers and I will never be sending my dog back there.

Amazing dog walking service and doggy day care! Blue absolutely loves her off leash pack walks and is always exhausted at the end of the day we know she is getting great exercise and dog social time which is so important. The pack leaders are very friendly and knowledgeable and Blue has grown to love her pack leaders she’s always excited when they come to pick her up! We have only ever had one issue where our pack leader was off for an emergency and a new person came who didn’t know blue needed to go back into her crate after the walk blue did eat something and we had a bit of a scare but I spoke with the team and soul mutts who handled the issue and made sure anyone new who is taking blue knows she needs to be put back in her crate after walks!

Soulmutts is a amazing place for your dogs. Full of love and great vibes. The staff care so much about all the fur babies.

Horrible service and attitudes, they seem to only make excuses and not look at solutions or problem solve. People pets are like family and yet you treat the clients and pets poorly.

I used to send my dog for walking services. They changed the venue they take the dogs to and never let me know. I had to find out from other dog owners who left as well MONTHS after they started pulling this shit.

I can’t believe I paid this business so much. Not worth it. I’m disappointed.

Soulmutts is a very dishonest company! After using their services for around 3 years they have lied and hid information from us several times. SOULMUTTS IS NO LONGER USING THE PRIVATE OFF LEASH PARK/DOG FOREST advertised on their website for months now, and they have still not informed their clients. They are walking/boarding all of the dogs in their boarding facility on Commissioners Street. Around 60 dogs each day are being "walked" in their small backyard. One time when we boarded our dog we went to pick him up and it was clear that no one was there watching the dogs, no one answered the phone or door and we were unable to pick up our dog. Soulmutts is overcrowded, unsafe, and they are not being honest with clients! A dog being in a van with 15-30 dogs each day for over 4 hours one way with no one there to watch the dogs is not safe.

Soulmutts is great! We booked a meet and greet and got access to their services right away. Their facility is great, and they make sure all the dogs are separated properly according to their preferences. Our puppy has been having a great time!

We love using Soulmutts for our tiny goldendoodle Charlie. He’s home 4 days a week during the day by himself, and instead of the typical single or double dog walk, we opted for the off leash outing with Soulmutts. We liked the idea of Charlie being able to socialize, and also run around freely on private property with a BUNCH of other dogs. He goes to Soulmutts during the day and runs around for hours, and by the time we get home at the end of the day he’s pooped from all the activity. Soulmutts also comes and picks up and drops off Charlie, which is great.

The only critical feedback I’d have is I’d love to get more updates on how Charlie is doing! A picture or video every once would be a nice bonus (they do have a very active Instagram and you can catch your dog on there every once in a while, which is really cute). Also I believe there were some changes to the off leash outing venue so it’d be nice to be kept updated with where Charlie is taken every day, or even seeing pictures or video of what that space looks like.

Overall we’re extremely happy with Soulmutts. I think we’re coming up on 2 years with them! Will definitely continue using, and I highly recommend it over traditional dog walking services.

Horrible place to bring your pet how does a dog have a skin issue and it go unnoticed and become so bad before you end up seeking medical attention I would not recommend this place ever absolutely horrible shame on you guys for neglecting a poor innocent dog
