South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Walkerton

I found Dr. Hubbs to be stand off-ish, dismissive, and completely unprofessional while my wife and I were at this hospital. He couldn't even be bothered to do a thorough examination before bolting out of the room. We ended up going to her family doctor in Mississauga instead and received a proper diagnosis and treatment plan for her chest pains. Were it not for the professionalism of some of the other staff I would be giving a 1-star.

This rating is strictly reflective on one particular “doctor” named Kyle Scheuerman the single handed worst, inexperienced doctor we’ve ever experienced. My wife was in severe pain and was left for hours while she cried and begged for help. Despite looking in to her medical records to show how her symptoms were last treated, he decided that he was just going to ignore her previous records and medications that worked and give her everything BUT the medication she needed. He went on to say that “electrolytes” and “anti nausea” medicine was good enough to help the pain and that she was doing better (yes HE actually told US that what he gave us was working) which clearly was not the case. We had been there for 8 hours and her symptoms and pain never really changed and he was prepared to keep dragging it out as long as possible to Guinea pig her on several more medications that were proven (and on record) to not work but he was going to try them anyway. After a pointless CT scan that *surprise surprise* showed nothing and 8 hours later we ended up just leaving “against medical advice” because my wife would rather be in pain in her own bed as opposed to a hot, stuffy hospital room with and uncomfortable bed and under the “care” of an incapable “doctor”. Well doc it’s safe to say your medical advice is absolutely horrific and I would highly encourage you to find a new profession and perhaps some compassion while you’re at it. I hope to god we never have to deal with him again

What a joke of a place! A lot of room for improvement! FYI your new hospital resembles a prison

Had to go to walkerton hospital today just for check up nothing importdent but after trying to get out going home the gate wouldn t open unless you use your credit car d what a bunch of bull imagine what would happen if you didn t have a credit card the machine wouldn t take cash wouldn t take debit just a credit card WHAT A SCAM WALKERTON

Brought in my sick 6 week old and was told I was just a worried new parent, I should wait until my infant stops peeing completely before bringing her in and that she wasn't sick.
I'm seething with anger. I know my infant.

Overall bad experience, doctors are very aggressive for no reason an are unaware on how to read peoples files.

I could over hear staff complaining about patients and discussing medical details and history, just to be clear I wasn’t trying to over hear them, it was loud and highly inappropriate, hard to believe these call themselves “professionals “
