I don’t go to this clinic very often unless necessary when my family doctor is not available. Every time I come, I always have good and consistent positive experiences from receptionists, nurses, and doctors here. The receptionist Raymar is passionate and good at details. Last month I came, she noticed my health card is about to expire which I assumed to wait for the renewal letter from the City, Raymar kindly reminded me twice to have it renewed as soon as I could to avoid delays.
Dr. Anne Pham and Dr. A. Abou-Nassar are caring and patient. They listened and took care of my cases seriously even for minor issues. Nurse Mary is professional, hardworking and efficient in addressing my issue.
I am grateful and thankful to find a clinic that is located conveniently in a busy city with all these helpful and kind medical professionals.

Nice clinic, knowledgeable staff. 5 star would be knowing the wait time, or more info, but otherwise it’s run quite well. If anyone has negative things to say about the staff, they likely have an unreasonable request. I’ve been hearing them yield calls non-stop and they are incredibly helpful and patient with people of all demographics. It feels far more like a family doctors office than walk-in clinic which is great.

The receptionist was extremely rude, mean and extremely abusive. She will ask weird questions and pass mean comments.made me feel so uncomfortable on my first ever visit, i was sick and couldn’t even talk back properly. They all were laughing together and making fun of me.i felt disgusted and extremely bullied.

Dr Pham has been my primary care provider for 25 years. She is through, caring, pleasant and helpful and always concerned about her patients and their well being. Her staff are also pleasant and helpful. It is a walk in clinic so there can be a line but if you time your appointments it is not a problem. I can not say enough good things about this Medical Centre.

The reception staff at this clinic were rude, but judging from past reviews this is common. My family and I will no longer be coming to this clinic as customer service and respect are important to us.

I've been coming here for years & more often than not I see Dr Pham. She personally took the time to follow up to call me & see if the prescriptions I had been prescribed were working. That was something I was impressed with. Reception staff are professional, polite & have a good attitude to waiting patients. Much better than most other reception clinics I've been to in the past.

My family and I will no longer be coming to this clinic as customer service and respect are important to us.

Today, I needed an appointment urgently. I called the office in the morning when they opened. Although my GP was fully booked, they still managed to fit me in this morning.
I had my issue addressed promptly and efficiently.

Saw Dr. Anne-Marie Pham, her room side manner was fantastic. I was diagnosed and prescribed medication by her that healed my problem the next day! Her staff was extremely pleasant to both my wife and I especially for being a walk-in patient. Nurse/assistant Marilou was exceptional with her blood taking methods where I did not
feel a thing and I have a fear of needles even at my age of 50+.

I have been going for years and I think they are fantastic. Dr’s, nurses, and reception are all nice.

The receptionists were very rude. I called before I arrived to see how long the wait was and no one answered after 12 rings. I got there and there was NO ONE in the waiting room. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment, I said no. They said they can’t take me as I need to call ahead to book an appointment. I told them I called and no one answered, they replied “we are busy here and have better things to do than answer the phone”. Then how are we supposed to make an appointment if they don’t answer the calls? !? ! Why is this called a walk-in when they don’t accept walk ins? ! Make it make sense! The 2.7 stars this is rated is generous!

Our Family has had very good experiences with this clinic staff and doctors are friendly, professional and experienced, I usually see Dr Pham, she is amazing, highly recommend this Walk-in Clinic

Dr. Pham is my family doctor been going to this clinic for many years had no issues at the front desk, nurses and doctors. This do get busy but I usually go at times when it's not busy because of the wait times.

Dr PHAM is a TERRIBLE doctor I came in with my 2 year old and as I was trying to explain why i was there all she heard was me mention coughing and started to yell over me as I was trying to finish saying “NO he can’t be here if he’s coughing I don’t want covid “ AFTER her co worker already took his temp and it was normal not to mention and no other symptoms my son has been coughing for 5 months and he is due to see a Respirolgist In 2 months however the cough sounds like a chest infection which needs antibiotics and this DR PHAM just tossed us out of the clinic and said go to credit valley! TERRIBLE DOCTOR don’t recommend if your life depended on it

I have been to this walk-in clinic a few and can honestly say that I've never had a negative experience. I saw Dr Pham yesterday, and she was outstanding - I cannot recommend her highly enough. My only complaint is that the parking lot is very small

The doctors are super nice — but supporting staff is more concerned with chatting with each other. I find them to be cold and totally unconcerned with privacy and they abruptly opened door while I wasn’t dressed and another patient was in hallway. In tears I told them how I felt and the nurse instead told me that she’s having a hard day and yells back at me. Don’t go to this clinic

Awful disposition from the woman who answered the phone. Didn't even bother explaining what I wanted to see the doctor for based on her tone alone. Highly recommend they invest time and energy into finding pleasant and professional staff.

I have injured myself lifting heavy object at work. My family doctor was not available immediately ​so I went there for the WSIB form to be filled. All the staffs, nurse and the doctor were courteous and sympathetic. Dr. Pham has personally called for the follow up on the ultrasound result.

Very rude staff over the phone. I called in wanting to make an appointment to confirm our pregnancy and the woman I spoke over the phone was incredibly rude. She informed me that the doctor would see me but could only confirm the pregnancy with a blood test, but would not do any referral to an OB as I was not a regular patient of the clinic. So whats the point of coming in? I though you were a walk in clinic? So you only provide proper health care to patients and not people who come in for an appointment? The woman then asked why I didn't have a family doctor and when I explained to her I have been having a hard time finding a family doctor due to a shortage of family doctors in Ontario, she patronized me and essentially called me stupid for not having one. What? I cancelled my appointment with them. I had no interest in coming in to a facility where the staff was rude and unprofessional. I found another clinic who was friendly, professional, and would provide me with proper care.

Hands down worst medical clinic I've been to. With the exception of one of the front desk receptionists who was extremely sweet and helped book me in last minute. The doctor I saw looked like he was so done with being there and didn't seem interested in wanting to figure out the cause to my issue was (severe abdomen, chest and back pain) and the assistant or nurse that he asked to do an EKG for me had so much bad attitude and was so rude to me because she couldn't get the right readings on the machine. In the end they got inaccurate test results and misdiagnosed my issue and sent me to the emergency room where I wasted 9 hours (unnecessarily exposed to more potential covid cases mind you) to have the hospital doctor tell me my issue was a minor, easy diagnosis and I shouldn't have been sent there if the clinic staff knew what they were doing.

So I came here today to bring my kids to see a doctor because they are feeling unwell. Now when I came to the office they had a sign on the door to call before entering so I did just that and the receptionist told me I can't bring my kids in because they have a cough.now what I don't understand is if your kid is sick and it isn't serious enough to go to the hospital how come they are not allowed into the doctors office to get checked out.now what is really confusing is that how are you supposed to get examined over the phone "virtually " to know what antibiotics could treat whatever virus you might have.might as well close down the doctors office because it's not like you guys are doing any actual work anyways

The receptionist is amazing and so was the doctor who was very pleasant and very caring. Not perfect but very close to being perfect but nothing in life is perfect. God bless them

Very friendly staff at reception and efforts were made to accommodate an urgent need for an appointment. Clean and has good safe and health protocol. The physician that I consulted with was good too.

My family and I have been going to this walk-in since I moved here back in 2008 and I have no complaints besides the long wait time (post-covid) but who can really control a patients needs (understandable). Everyone is really friendly here, the doctors are nice and take their time with you as well.

Went to door, but closed to walk-in due to pandemic. Sign on door said call to make an appointment.called twice, no answer. Went back to the door to see a woman just sitting down at the desk. Assumed she was busy so I waited a few moments and then called. She picked up the phone and then hung up without saying anything like she was upset. During working hours. I should have just ignored the sign and went in, but you know.respect an all of that.

The South Common Medical Centre has been available to the community for many years. The staff and doctors are always considerate and responsive, and take the time to follow-up with clients to share test results and to ensure issues discussed are addressed. The clinic has continued to operate during the COVID pandemic, and has introduced a number of steps to keep us safe. We feel fortunate to have this medical centre in our community.

I was a patient here seeing Dr. Tran back in late 2020. I had two infections that needed treatment. I successfully got rid of one of the infections but due to Dr. Trans negligence and refusal to looking the symptoms in my lower abdomen I could have died, from the second infection. I could have lost my life due to this. Thankfully, another doctor helped me. If you are a female, please seek help elsewhere with a FEMALE doctor.

I've been with my family doctor here for 18 years now. My doctor performs an exceptional job and will only prescribe what is needed for you.
Got my flu shot, physical check up, allergist referral, mental health referral, etc. The front desk staff was always friendly with me in-person and on the phone whenever I needed to call for an appointment (specifically during COVID-19 measures).

My family doctor went on vacation and I could not wait any longer. Unfortunately I wasn’t feeling well for almost a week, in pain that was getting worse. I called in the morning and got an appointment for 4: 45pm. Everything was very good. Both receptionists were very welcoming. A nurse came to check on me and run an urine test. Then the lady doctor came and was very supportive and professional. I got my prescription fast. I recommend this walk in clinic!

I came here today not knowing what to expect because of all the covid restrictions. I tried a clinic down the road from my place who left me in my car for 2 and a half hours and didn t talk to an actual person other than via text. Needless to say I just drove off. I came to the South common centre and not only spoke to someone right away but was in and out in 45 minutes. Everyone was pleasant and professional. They took the time to know ME and not treat me as a number. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you so much for treating me like I mattered. I will be telling everyone about you.

Just wanted to share my positive experience with South Common Medical Walk in Clinic in Mississauga

As I woke up one Sunday morning I found there was a discomfort in my ankle, which made it difficult for me to walk freely. As I ignored this little pain, thinking it could be a tiny sprain in my ankle, I went about my chores, completely ignoring my pain.

By evening I saw my ankle has swollen and was a little reddish at the tip of the joint.
At this stage I could not walk and every step was a painful nightmare.

Since I had to work on something critical at work next day, I was concerned, as the pain was not
tolerable any more. I suspected it could be a gouty condition, as I observed my symptoms.

Nightmarish experience with the family doctor -

Called our family doctor early morning, only to be told rudely by the front desk, that the doctor
would only be available from 12 PM (Be kind guys, a patient who is responsible for your business
is calling you in pain) )
I provided my details to the front desk and patiently waited for the clock to strike 12 PM.
I realized I was just a number and not a human for some of these doctors.

My apologies for saying this, as I do not mean to generalize this experience across the stream of doctors
available. Many are great and offer excellent services to their patients.

At 1 PM I could finally talk to our family doctor, who advised that I go for a blood test.
Next day, after my blood test, I called the doctor's office again to confirm an estimated time by when
I can get my results. Once again I was rudely told that being a long weekend, it can be the week
after when I can hear.
Fortunately, after a few hours, I received a call that my results are in and doctor would like
to have a word with me. Our family doctor came on line, and let me know that gout was ruled out as
the uric acid threshold was within limits, and that being diabetic and with high cholesterol,
I needed to take medication for cholesterol and high blood sugar, else may lose my vision, and many other organs in sequence.

I tried to politely ask about the swelling in my ankle and the pain, but was politely interrupted
wherein the doctor stated it could be that I hurt myself and closed the call.
I was shocked that I did not receive even a 1 minute audience.

Positive Experience at the South Common Walk In clinic - Mississauga -

Back to my pain, I called South Common walk in clinic, only to be greeted very politely by the
front desk, asking me details and patiently hearing me out, followed by providing me with an
immediate appointment.

I rushed to the south common walk in clinic, and to my surprise I was taken in immediately and the doctor
was ready waiting to examine my condition.
The walk in clinic doctor, was very patient while I explained my condition and immediately examined my feet.
I asked him if it could be cellulitis, and he politely without brushing me off, accepted that it could be,
but he needed me to go in for ultrasound and X Ray. He also prescribed me antibiotics for a week
and requested me to start it ASAP.

The walk in clinic doctor wished me good luck and I left the clinic feeling so grateful for being treated with
genuine care. Finally I was not just a number. I was made to feel like a human again.)

Two days after taking the antibiotics (although I keep away from medications in my normal life), I was back on my feet,
with no pain and the swelling completely gone.

I almost did a quick dance getting down from my bed and wholeheartedly thanked the Walk In Clinic doctor for his quick action
and for handling my case with care and kindness.

A BIG YAAY to South Common Medical Walk in Clinic staff and the doctor who gave me a new lease of life!)

The staff in this clinic was very disappointing and very unprofessional. It is our first time to go in this clinic knowing we will get the help we need and we will be assisted. We are looking for a family doctor and we are suppose to come in as a new patient. When we were booking our appointment over the phone, the receptionist was pleasant so i thought she understood that we want to come in as a new patient and she even took our OHIP number to put it on file and set our appointment. During the day of our appointment one of the staff walked us through in one of the rooms and she asked what are we there for? So my husband said we are looking for a family doctor and we need to complete a medical form, and the lady said "so you're not a regular patient then? You need to pay an extra for the medical form you need because it will be an extra work for the doctor" me and my husband was explaining that when we booked the appointment over the phone we ask first if the clinic is accepting new patients and the receptionist said yes that's why we booked in the appointment and we don't mind paying extra for the stuff that we need, and as i was speaking to her she keeps on cutting off every sentence i say and she sound like she's in a rush and she doesn't wanna entertain us. The staff unprofessionally walked us out the room and said she can't take us in because we are not a regular patient and she turned into the receptionist saying " You take them out of the system". That was unprofessional and really frustrating.

The staff was very friendly and I saw them on Saturday morning July 11. There was a 10 minute wait, not too bad. Dr. Fam immediately got me to do x-rays, asked me to come back to pick up the referral for Credit View Hospital since I had two fractures on my foot, and advised me to go to the hospital first thing next morning which was Sunday.
When I finally reached Credit View Fracture Clinic at. 7am, they told me that they did not receive the referral from the Dr’s office And turned me back even though I had a copy of the referral and my X-rays.
Called the Dr.office and they had indeed not sent the referral to the hospital and told me that the hospital had changed their procedures (not true hospitals always want a referral faxed to them before they see anyone),
I asked them to fax the referral while I was on the phone and then I called the hospital to confirm they received the referral.
This was my first time experience with South Common clinic because my family doctor (for 30) was not Available and my foot was swelling up badly.
Never again!

This is the best Walk in Clinic in Mississauga. All the doctors have helped me every time, with any issue so I refuse to visit a family doctor as these guys know what they are doing, extremely helpful, little bit of a wait but they are worth it!

I have been going to this walkin clinic for 10 years and i have never had any kind problems that people have been posting, sorry they feel that way, i only have good things to say about the worker there and the Doctors, very professional.

The staff is wonderful and provide excellent care! Very attentive, patient and thorough. I've been coming to South Common Medical Centre for about a 15 years and it's always a positive experience.

The South Common Medical Clinic has very nice, helpful and courteous Staff. Doctors and nurses try always to help their patients as best as they can. They are all very professional and knowledgeable. I can always count on getting help at this medical clinic due to the long opening hours and a great possibility of having the blood and urine tests done right away at the clinic. This is extremely convenient and saved me many times going to Emergency, where I would have to wait for 6 or 7 hours. Dr. Anne Pham is a great doctor with a very long medical practice and great experience. She helped me, my husband and my grandson many, many times. Thank you very much, Dr. Pham!

Its a very good medical center, open 7 days a week, excellent doctors and excellent services.waiting time within an average.

Dr. Abounassar was very helpful and so was the rest of the staff. Hands down the best service I have had from a walk in clinic.

This is a very busy walk in clinic in the Erin Mills area of mississauga. There is lots of parking around it and it is close to the bus station. I have been there a number of times over the years for myself and my children. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The doctors try to take the time to ask questions to determine the issue and best course of treatment. The average wait seems to be about an hour, worse in the evening after dinner. It is a valuable resource in the community.

Please do not go here! I came to this local walk in clinic just before 5pm as they advertise that they operate until 6 thinking i could get a quick check up and some antibiotics. There had been 3 other people waiting at the time but as i approached the secretary and handed her my health card she immediately said they are closed for the day. Not sure what planet she was on or who taught her to read time but last time i checked, it is the publics tax dollars that pays for them to sit there mindlessly in the first place. I was told to go elsewhere even though they should still be accepting “ walk in’s “ until 6pm. Secretaries didn’t even want to assist in directing me to another location that would be able to help.

I feel bad for hospitals and ERs who are probably constantly so full due to walk in clinics such as this one. Horrible service!

I was there on weekend to see a doctor for lymph node pain and same time to administer allergy shot.during wait time realized receptionist staff was very un professional, singing loud infront of patients, talking irrelavant to patients and seemed everyone was in rush. Met with Dr Pham for pain then she asked her asian nurse to administer injection.she injected needle very strong and at wrong spot and because of that i cant move my hand at all and move it with help of my other hand. Im going to see other doctor for this pain and will officially complain about them. They need to look after their hygine too specially a doctor and she should visit her dentist ASAP for dental hygine. Will never go there again

Change your staffs in your clinic, you need a new staffs with good manners, treat people with respects and humble attitudes. Not happy the receptionist when i went there.

Not accommodating, came at 8: 08 at the clinic after having checked that they close at 9. Receptionist advised at the door that the doctor would not see as they would be closing early. There was only 2 ppl in the waiting room. Will not be going back and I do not suggest anyone should either

Went in on a Saturday at 4: 55 says open till 6 there was only 1 guy in waiting room but was told they are closing early, sorry.
I should have read the reviews first and saved myself some time.

Went here since i was in high school and now i am in my mid 30s but sad to say i probably will never come back here. Mostly since they dont know how to do their jobs but love scanning in your health card to get bank. Annoying and I will submit a report to CPSO soon too. I dont have a problem with any of the male doctors but the females seem to be on some sort of trip. My parents and sisters have left and i will recommend more people. Spoke to a girl who works for Credit Valley and she told me to leave asap! SO there you go! MONEY MONEY MONEY! I guess getting paid is where its at!

My family has been going to this clinic for years. When we can’t see our family doctor, this is a great alternative. We have not received any “bad” advice or an incorrect diagnosis. Yes, they do at times encourage you to follow up with a family doctor. But that’s okay because this is a walk-in clinic service. Dr. Abounassar was great with my kids. He made them feel at ease and was always so kind to them. I’ve seen both Dr. Phan and Dr. Tran and never had any issues with the care they provided. Also, I’ve never had any trouble with the front desk people. They have been pleasant every time I’ve been there. I won’t go to other walk-in clinics because of negative experiences. This is the only one I will go to now.

Not sure what the negative comments are about! Visited this place with my daughter last night, staff are nice not great but good. Service was prompt and really nice doctor. Open until 9pm! What more can you ask for.

The older gentleman, the dr.abunassir I think is his name, 3 times I tried to give him a chance on his attitude.he is rude, no rapport with patients, barely gives someone eye contact and make you feel like an idiot.if you disagree or show concern or even ask a question he acts as though it’s a challenge.when you don’t understand.or want something explained.have the patience to tell us how it works and why, if we are worried about our health and the effects. No smile, barely a greeting, looks he needs to retire or do another profession if he is that miserable.

Was told to come back on day it wasn't so busy, why do we have fee health care in this country? Staff was rude, nurse was rude and her perfume smelt like raid bug spray.worst clinic in the GTA hands down

This is a good clinic. People who complain about wait times have not been to an emerg department lately. We usually have waited less than 1/2 hour but yes, you might have to wait an hour if you are not critical. The medical service is excellent. I have brought my kids there and even a friend from out of town.
