The old owners were top-notch who I regularly did business with over more than a decade. The new owner “Kareem” quoted a price of $80 which was rather high, for a part on Sept 18th compared to new/refurbished and promised a return call that never happened. Today, Oct 20th, he quoted me a price of $130 for the exact same part. When called out on the discrepancy in price he claimed that “labor costs” had risen dramatically. I said “in a month? ” he said yes. He then told me I could come and take the part off myself for $100, which shot a hole in his story/excuse of a dramatic rise in labour in the course of a month because obviously he didn’t have to pay my labour (I’m a former GM mechanic) He then became verbally abusive and told me that’s the way it is, you can’t expect the same price from 3 years ago. I said how about 4 weeks ago? He told me to go somewhere else to get the part, and basically told me to GFMS. I told “Kareem” I’d never come back, that he as the new owner just lost a 10+year customer. He told me to “have a nice day” (very sarcastically) and that’s reality, if you don’t like it then don’t come here”. I told him I’d never be back. With his attitude towards long time customers or any retail customers, I suspect his time will be short in a small community such as ours.
Most of the positive feed back comments you see here are for the old owner, George & his wife and daughters. Watch out for this new owner. In my long time opinion and being in the mechanical industry with General Motors he’s nothing but an untrustworthy snake. I’ll give the public the exact same advice Kareem gave me “go look somewhere else”. His labour issues are probably a result of treating his staff with the same indignation and disrespect. Good luck, that’s the only professionalism you’ll receive from this lame outfit.

97 GMC Sierra Pick-up 4.3L standard. My son managed to break the throttle cable when I told him to 'step on it' to pass the tractor trailer in front of us. We were located 10 minutes outside of Exeter. This all happened around 3 pm Friday afternoon. Once I got the vehicle running again, I called them up and went to their yard to get a throttle cable. They had one in great condition and at a great price! Thank you so much for all your help and relieving what would have been a stressful rest of the weekend!
