My first taste of the food was back in 1976 and still till this day my favorite place.
Great memories

I’ve ordered here in the past and was satisfied with the food. However, this time I ordered and was completely disappointed with the food/service. I ordered the Szechuan chicken dish, only to realize there was no chicken in my meal. I called to let them know and they told me if I drove back they would provide me with my correct order. When I got there one of the workers came out of the kitchen and told me “if I want more chicken I should go to china town! ”. I left completely shocked and returned home with the second dish. Still no chicken and completely inedible. Feels a little personal…

Reminds me of my childhood getting quality Chinese takeout from a wonderful family. This brings me joy

This was my second visit to this family run business. Susan and Alex undoubtedly have preserved an open kitchen takeout concept I first encountered in the 1970's. These small establishments provided working class people an option for picking up a home-style cooked meal of authentic flavours quickly and effortlessly. According to my friend, who always chooses Chinese styles for takeout, this is unquestionably the best place we have patronised in the last seven years. Many thanks for the friendly service and authentic well prepared food in both portion and quality.

The BEST Chinese food ever! So delicious and the portions can’t be beat! Will be back soon~the only Chinese food in town~my opinion Love the owners

First time trying this place, I order a combo plate with chicken balls, chicken fried rice and sweet & sour ribs and I also got an order of chicken wings

I loveeeee Chinese food and have ate from most places in Toronto.

The fried rice wasn’t fried, still had lots of chunks of white rice, no flavour, no green onions, no egg, no peas or carrots. Very plain white rice

The chicken ball has a sour taste to it and some of the chicken balls had no chicken, just dough (in pic)

The sweet & sour ribs was bones covered in dough or just a ball of dough (in picture)

The chicken wings were okay, it doesn’t have a typical Chinese flavour, more like kfc fried chicken.

Also when you walk in all you smell is air freshener, I found weird, didn’t smell any food at all

This place doesn’t also deliver or work with any delivery apps so you have to pick up, I would definitely not go out my way again to try for an second time even if I was offered a free meal

Today the owner gave me a freezie (with choice of flavor) with my dinner, to which we had a lightsaber fight with. My portion of shrimp fried rice was enough to feed 4 families and was good quality. I rate 10/5 stars.

This place is a hidden gem. Food is delicious and the owners are the best. They're always sweet and helpful with recommendations and are just genuinely good people. The prices are also unmatched.

I will be a regular now and I highly recommend to all.

Pretty good quality Chinese-Canadian food. They go out of their way to give you good service.

Removed one star because they recently removed the fish and chips from the menu. Yes it's not a typical Canadian-Chinese item for Toronto but it IS an item we could get picky children to eat.

We stayed across the street so we decided to try this for dinner and it lived up to the hype. They were so nice and so polite. The food was fresh and hot and delicious.

The best customer service I've ever experienced. They even gave me two free pop! When I went to pay the owner bypassed the tip section on the interact machine. Will definitely go back!

The food is always delicious with great prices and portions, and the people working there make every visit a pleasure! They had great customer service when dealing with the only miscommunication about my order I've ever had there (due to noise on my end of the phone while ordering), offering a quick and thoughtful solution to ensure everything was just right! The man helping me even held the door for me- so nice to have great food and people who care to go above and beyond so nearby! Thanks a lot, will certainly be back again soon!:)

Tasty food at low prices. The owner is overly nice too. Just come out and try this place for yourself!

Fresh food and hefty portions!

The family that runs this place is very friendly and would happily support them on that alone.

On top of that the food is great! I got the chicken ball combo and the chicken balls have a proper ratio of chicken to batter!

Lastly, the prices are so reasonable for the amount of food you get. Easy 5 star review from me.

Before even eating the food I have to give this place 5 stars. Nothing but smiles and friendly service from the entire family. I double parked to get food and they offered to bring it out. Even gave me a drink to stay hydrated while I waited. The price also can't be beat. I'll be back to get food and a dose of joy and happiness from the folks here.

The best Chinese food around, and the staff is super friendly. I definitely recommend this takeout place.
