Dhwanil and Jaiden provided great service especially tending to my gluten allergy. Highly recommend

Nice folks but tables are ALL sticky. Men's washroom toilet is cracked. Urinal isn't working. No soap in dispenser. A shame because they really were nice!

Ive had issues with this location in the past, When I say well done I don’t want to be ignored just because you’re busy. I don’t want to go home with raw slimy fries. Make sure your staff can cook fries before you leave them alone.
But tonight the newer guy on the grill was perfect.

The guys that were working there on the evening of 12/27 were awesome. Very pleasant and generous with toppings.

My experience was amazing, thanks to Jaiden and Shiva. They provided elite-level customer service. They listen attentively, provide meaningful recommendations and ask clarifying questions to ensure your order is accurate. I do not visit other locations because of the quality of the customer service delivered by Jaiden and Shiva. Thank you, South Street Burger, for hiring them, and please give them a bonus.

I usually call in my order as I'm constantly on the go. Although, there have been a few times some toppings were missing, To be fair, I saw a new person there during this time. For the most part they get it right. They are always friendly, the place is clean. And the Angus burger on a gluten-free bun is my fave. It's always great when I can find a place where I can not only order Gluten-free food on the go but also enjoy it. Thank guys!

Service is definitely slower than at other places, but I certainly like the quality of the burgers here

Tasty burgers! We had the Angus beef burger. The house special sauce is really a good combination with the burger. Will visit again to try the other options.

Man they make good burgers here! We went for my birthday and, well, it wasn't quick - but it was worth the wait. BTW, register online a few days beforehand and they will email you a free burger coupon for your bday Sweet.

Extremely disappointed! The halal burgers are being cooked on the exact same grill as the bacon!? That defeats the entire purpose of having two separate grills. When I asked the chef why he didn’t cook it on the separate grill, his response was “when we are busy, we use the other grill but when it isn’t busy we cook it on the same grill. ” It’s really disappointing to know that if I hadn’t seen that cross contamination, Id be going against my dietary restrictions. We shouldn’t have to watch our food being cooked like hawks. There MUST be a level of trust when it comes to these things. $10 for a single burger which I can’t even eat. Extremely disappointing and shocking. I will make it a point to share this with every individual I know. Worst part is, they didn’t even offer to redo the burger in the correct manner. In such uncertain times, we try to support local businesses and this is what we get in return.

I love the chicken club sandwich. Absolutely delicious! Very fresh (you can see them make it and you can taste it, too), sweet potato fries are good, and love the sauce they add on the sandwich. Also, guac is free for the sandwiches. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

The food is great.if you order a big order. The guy at the Pickering location made two orders in front of mine. I ordered 1 burger only. He could have made it while he was making the orders who ordered behind me. By that time my burger sat chilling out. Food awesome! Service from the guy in the glasses.very poor

Filth. He touches EVERYTHING with his hands. (with gloves on) touches the toppings, then the bag the buns are in then goes back to the grill, then touches other stuff then back to touching more topping gs with his gloves like it's ok or something. Gross

I think the negative reviews are pretty harsh on here. This is our local south street and I’ve been to a few. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the food is very good quality. I’ve eaten here over 15 times in the last two years and I’ve never had cold food, mistakes or hairs in my food. I’m not saying that doesn’t happen but I’ve never experienced it. Great place in my opinion. Go see for yourself.

I went today.to South st Burger. There was 2 workers Alex and Jon. They asked me how was my day. I was so tired working all the day. I told them that and with their smile and talking with me make me relax and enjoy the meal. I ordered halal burger so Jon told me it will be 10min so I asked if I can had the frncfrize earlier. Right away he gave it to me. Both of they they were do Profesional and positive attitude. They make my day

Yes 5 star but if some one from head office is reading this.can you put more than 2 ppl in the store. Because the line can get big quickly and those 2 guys work their butts off.

Best burgers at this price point. Way better than the Works in my opinion and cheaper. The quality is pretty consistent. I think some workers just have more experience but I've never gotten a bone dry burger there (in this location in particular). I was so sad when they were closed, this is my go-to for lazy days.

Second visit to a South St. Burger, first visit to this location, Expected a little more. Burger and toppings were OK, service and time served was OK.
All of our local restaurants have been hit hard during Co-Vid 19, Please get out and support our local restaurants.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would, but sadly 1 is the lowest I’m allowed too. I order food here and after taking a bite out of it I was horrified when I pulled a hair from my mouth. I was completely disgusted and will never go back here. The thought of it still makes me feel sick to my stomach

Poor hygiene. Two members working there. One poorly trained. Neither using masks to cover their nose. When asked one just walked away and hid in back room. I would avoid the place

Why did you take away the Medium fry.
Small is too small and the large is too big.

Friendly staff, very clean restaurant. The burger was perfect, nice touch of new York fries. Might be a lil pricey to some, but the quality can't be beat. I would recommend going here.

It was alright. Really good options for toppings and the food is great quality but definitely a bit greasier than I'd expected.

The Male owners/workers make rude comments towards women and mock the people who choose their vegetarian options. I ended up eating a steak sandwich instead of a veg one because they didn't label the sandwiches. I was violently sick for 2 days. I'll never eat there again.

Clean and brand name were the only plus.
Burger must have been frozen when put on a low heat grill. Tasteless and burnt on the outside. Bun was hard and server changed it fortunately.
I watched them cook the signature fries with no timer and then leave in the basket. Just before serving one guy put handfuls of the cooked fries in a basket to refry. Then another guy with no idea how long they cooked dumped and salted them, before putting greasy fries in the cup.

I have had this many in many other franchises and always great. This was a real disappointment. Counter guy was overtired but nice and apologized several times. Supervisor clearly was not interested in customers or quality. Perhaps just saving a few pennies.

I also watched another guy clean the over-grill grease catcher over food being cooked. Maybe if they cooked unfrozen burgers at proper temp there wouldn’t be gobs of grease to clean.

I would double check your take out order before walking out. My large sweet potatoes fries were not fully cooked and was only 3/4 full. The burger was alright. I would definitely think twice before returning

Went to South Street burger right before they closed and had to get a poutine and a burger and did it without an issue.

Great burgers, slow service. Seemed like 2 of the 3 people working there were new. Orders were mixed up, wrong orders for people ahead of us. Burgers were cooked properly and yummy as usual.

South St Burger company is one of the few restaurants where Guacamole isn't extra. The fries are top notch. Very well seasoned, small, and crispy. A bit pricy coming in at 4.95$ for a medium fry. Lots of sauces and seasonings to choose from. The buy one get one coupon I found valuable as well.

Great burger. Had a great tasting burger after such a long time. They ''sauté" the ingredients fresh in front of you. Good vegetarian options too. A bit on the pricey side.

Food was good but the prices could be a bit lower its a burger joint where i have to carry my food to the table its not like they bring it to me

This place crew isn't that great. We went in family day 2019, burger was dry and the one prepping it didn't know what to put with the burger (we ordered those specialty burger) She keep on looking on the menu board, it turned, she missed the bacon in one of the burgers that we ordered. Go other South st burger location

This review refers only to this PICKERING location. It is not a reflection of South St. Burger as a whole. I love SS Burger. That said, I was stupefied by my experience at this location today, and a little annoyed I ate a cold burger. My burger was put atop my bun ready with its toppings and just needing the two halves to be put together and to be handed to me. The employee, rather than giving me my burger, went on to load up other orders (with patties still cooking) with toppings. At the same time, my burger was getting cold. After standing their dumbfounded for a few minutes, I was forced to ask for my burger to be handed to me but by then it had already gotten pretty cold.
