South St. Burger

Clean restaurant. Good food and service. Occasionally busy but lots of seating room.

Avoid this place for a bit. Ate here and got pretty sick about 3 hours later. I do OMAD so it was the only food i had that day. So many people touching your food, cross contamination looks likely. It wasnt that busy and the staff seemed to be fussing over everything to look busy. Constantly touching and moving food around during all stages of preperation. 3 people touched the cheese on my burger. Frustrating. I used to love this place.

Really liked the burgers here. The choice of toppings and sauces was really good. The burgers were grilled fresh and the meat was good without much grease. The staff were nice, and quite knowledgeable. I liked the ambience, especially during the lunch service. It was buzzing with a lot of families with kids from the area which made for a happy vibe.

Dropped in for a quick bite during work hours and I was pleasantly surprised on how nice and clean this place is especially the washroom! Milliam who I ordered from was friendly, polite and accommodating as I requested a lettuce wrap as I’m off bread at the moment. Had the grilled chicken lettuce wrap with Swiss cheese and hot sauce I got exactly what I wanted!
Best chicken sandwich/lettuce wrap in the city - I’ll definitely be back and recommend this place to all.

It's pricey but worth the price. The burgers are juicy and not dry! The fries are heavenly, freshly cooked and not salty! The manager - Miss Brenda thumbs up to you and your crew! Very polite and quick service! The line up might be long some day but they have a lot of customers and they come back for their food and for their service!

True North burger combo was fabulous. Hot fresh beef, hot crisp fries, friendly efficient team, lots of choice in toppings. Patio dining on a delightful fall evening. Highly recommended.
