South St. Burger

Explain how a tiny piece of cheesecake that was pre made and stored in the fridge was for $10 plus dollars? I was shocked. Is that why the price was not listed until you pay? And the cheesecake didn’t taste good, it was too sweet

The place was clean and service was friendly. I ordered a veggie burger with mushrooms and swiss and wholewheat buns.

I had the pleasure of visiting south street burger recently and I must say, I was blown away by the food and service. The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection, with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the milkshakes were thick and creamy.

But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. They even took the time to make recommendations and answer any questions I had about the menu.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great, with a fun and lively vibe that made me want to stay and hang out for a while.

Overall, I highly recommend south street burger to anyone looking for a delicious burger and great service. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items!

First time at South St. Burger. Upon ordering they were helpful explaining the menu. At first I thought the food was over priced BUT once I took a bite of my burger, I was more than satisfied! The best part though was the service. The manager is outstanding! Has a particular attention to detail, demonstrated to be helpful and supportive to his team and his service with gratitude made our experience there so much better! I didn't get his name but he is exceptional! Thank you!

I finished my burger to realize half of the topping I requested wasn’t there.
I wanted to let it go but it was my first time here so I asked the cashier. The gentleman with glasses told me the cashier was in training. He apologized and offered to make me a new burger which I declined.

I love the grilled pineapple!

I wished the salad had more dressing options. We weren’t told that the only dressing they had was butter milk ranch. We aren’t fans of creamy dressing either.

First time experience here was truly disappointing but the gentleman with glasses was sincere so I give them a 4/5.

I ordered food from here the Swiss burger I believe it was from Uber and it was the worst burger I’ve ever had it was stale and dry and everything tasted off. I’m really upset with this experience and won’t be returning.

In short form, ITS PERFECT, the food is heavenly good, the service is also nice, everything is so good since the burger patty is fire, the toppings are so good, the burger with like 4 toppings are already good, the Cajun onion is having a good flavour, all toppings are fresh. Overall, this is the best burger place I've ever ate at! 5 stars for sure.

I got the true North burger. One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Bad enough so that I just ate the patty itself since I didnt want to waste too much food (no seasoning on it btw). No flavour and the texture was straight up wack. I swear I was on a Kitchen Nightmares episode

Food quality is not stable when the owner/manger is not there.
The poutine is not edible, hard as rock, not sure it's overnight or what. One of the staff is not polite. Disappointed and will not go back again.

Avoid if you're in a hurry. Took almost 30 minutes for 2 burgers and fries to be ready. Imagine McDonald's but in 4x slow motion it is how I felt when I saw the food being prepared.

People the work there are very cool. Their burger so much better then the Big Mac at McDonald’s.this location is must try highly recommend

Great burger joint with lots of good premade choices for a fast bite.

Edit: Feb 2023 - revisited recently and the quality has gone down dramatically. Burger was dry and overpriced. My favourite premade option which was the Nacho is also no longer in the menu.

This the worse hamburger restaurant I have ever been to.
Mushroom Double Swiss Hamburger was cold and it had NO flavor. Terrible!
Place was dirty, tables and floor sticky.
Employees in this joint had NO clue how to treat a customer, or could care less.
I really do not know how this place survives.

Burger was good, unfortunately, my fries came with a long black hair and i was worried my burger did too.most of the staff have long black hairs working and no hairnets so I had to throw them out also the pepsi tasted like carbonated tap water hardly any flavor this location isn't the best

My burger is almost always burnt - they don't clean the grill and the orange flames coat my burger patty with carcinogenic soot. You can taste the bitterness of the carbon deposits. The burger flipper ignores my request to keep my patty off the yellow flames licking my patty as it cooks. I come to this location 5x a week for my gym upstairs, but I can only eat this burger once a month to avoid stomach cancer.

Lack of training of staff and messed up order of meal preparation. Need to wait a long time. They use the same plain burger patties that are in the supermarket freezer. To make matters worse they are also able to scorch the patties which are completely inedible and have to be discarded. Overpriced and not recommended
