Got the pork gyro dinner and the meat was amazing but the portion too small for the price and no sauce. Might revisit for a wrap, but wasn't impressed by the dinner plate.

This was our first time here. The BEST gyros and baklava we've ever had. The gyros were tasty without being overly salty. They were fresh and generously proportioned. The baklava was crispy on top and full of sweetness. Staff were very friendly and took the time to answer our questions about their food. Would definitely go back.

I was looking for something in the area as I just arrived into town and checked into my Airbnb, which happens to be in Greek town. This came up and was exactly what I needed, something tasty but not fancy and reasonably priced too. I got a mixed pork and chicken gyro and it was absolutely delicious. Succulent meat, fresh salad ingredients and a nice sauce and pita bread with crispy fries. Would go back in a heartbeat.

So delicious and the portions are great, especially for the price point. This is a go to spot to eat in Toronto.

The men who work here are so kind, patient and just lovely. They make you feel right at home. The food is just out of this world. The chicken is so delicious, you taste the lemon and garlic, truly outstanding. The tzatziki is the BEST. But the baklava, is out of this world! I’ve never had baklava that amazing before. Something I would like to point out is how perfectly full and completely satisfied I was after my gyros wrap. I didn’t feel stuffed or gross at all. Just clean, healthy, delicious food. 10/10 and 100%!

The food was amazing just as it always is but the service was especially good, one of the employees Tila was very nice.

We tried the Pork Gyro Wrap & Chicken Gyro Wrap, and they are MIND-BLOWING, the JUICIEST Greek Shawarma in Toronto.

We tried several spot, and we must say the Pork Gyro is the winner. And we decided to come back less than a week to get moreee, you know when its so good, it makes you want it again and again.

We highly recommended to get the wrap at your first visit here! It’s affordable, stuffed with meat & fries. They are open until midnight, so you know where to grab your next late night meal.

Amazing wraps right in the heart of greektown!

The wraps here come from an unsuspecting place! Don’t be deceived by the tiny store and no frills interior. The taste is everything but!

The wrap had this amazing sauce inside the wrap that just encompassed every bite! And if you try to take the paper apart, it’s just gonna start dripping everywhere!

The second thing is that it’s all loaded up to the brim! Wanted to unwrap it to eat all on its own but knew that was not an option! But when trying to put all back together, it was barely possible to even wrap it up!

Super nice guy putting the wrap together, and saw me snapping pics and even suggested to have the rotisserie in the back or even to take pics outside with the sign!

Great job overall! Definitely found my place for wraps in the danforth and pale area!

After a coffee at Monopol (right beside it) i always go and order a dinner meal at Souvlike. So tasty and yummy.

Taste like a real Greek Gyro! Seriously the best in Toronto. Fresh pita, juicy chicken, perfectly folded and not too greasy. And their Greek fries are delicious with feta cheese.

I don’t know what kind of day the guy was having but he got the worst attitude ever. I know it’s not an easy job but we politely said hi and order in a kind way. He was so aggressive preparing the food, when we asked a question he was raising his voice almost yelling. The food was not good as well. Hope he learn how to interact with people. Rude person who’s not wearing a mask properly. I hope the owner checks the camera recording to let him know that he should be wearing mask unless he is not the owner himself

A small locally-owned shop that serves Greek gyros & rotisserie! Delicious, authentic, and great value!

The food is good but I watched the guy scratch his head, touch the phone, the register, and then make a wrap without washing his hands. So do with that what you will.

Great food and quality and customer service. We were a group of 6 and ordered just 4 sandwiches. The lady sees us not eating anything with our friends and brought us fries! She was so kind and caring! The food and fries was so delicious with a good value!

Really? I can't believe the 5 stars of reviews. This is horrible food I've ever ate in Toronto 8 years living. I tried so many chicken Souvlaki and wrap too this is worst. Paid $9 and taste just like a tried potato and I checked inside there was 90% of fried potatoes inside my Souvlaki wrap. This is just expensive fries not a souvlaki warp and I found 5 meat slices and it smells bad. This is really horrible. Never again this place. Not friendly at all no greeting and food is horrible.

They just add too much fries without even asking if you want the fries. Thats the only downside, if they could improve that next time i go, i will give them a 5 star review. Overall it's tasty

I got a chance to try their Chicken Gyro Wraps and Fries with Sauce & Paprika and, tell you what it was heavenly delicious. The Gryo is thicc & loaded with freshly shaved chicken from the rotisserie, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki, crispy french fries and secret sauce.

I am definately coming back to try their lamb gyro and beef doner.

The pork gyro here is some of the best in the city! And that's saying something since it's located right in Greek town. It's crispy and full of flavour. Absolutely my favourite when picking up some quick lunch or dinner

Best greek food spot HANDS DOWN! And trust me when I say you WON'T be disappointed. I have definitely found my new permanent spot because those authentic and delicious flavours will surely take you back to Greece.

Ordered a veggie gyro wrap, I really liked it and the customer service was great, the staff are very friendly and the service was pretty quick. I think the veggie gyro was good bust missing something like tapenade, or something to make it more satiating as it felt very light and like a snack wrap to me. Its a little bit more expensive than Messini but overall was very good!

Don't know how to follow basic instructions, asked for something simple as no onions. Watched as they put onions on my wrap and then they denied putting them on. Clearly a ton of onions on the wrap. Bland taste to my gyro plate as it was dry chicken on a bed of fries, zero sauce. Don't waste your time, should have went to square boy. Above all the employees blocking the door way should have been the first red flag as I wasn't sure if I was allowed in or to leave once inside.

This place is the bomb! I had another amazing chicken gyros and fries today. The food and the device are always great, and I will definitely be back!

I’ve gotten food from here 30+ times. After the recent price hike I’m never going back. New pricing is absolutely ridiculous. I didn’t give it a 1 star cause the food is actually great (sometimes the meat is a little fatty tho)

Try the chicken gyro wrap for sure! As a Greek who lived in Greece for 21 years I have to say that this gyro was way above my expectations! Big and tasty gyros wrap for a reasonable price. Totally worth it! Cheers!

Really good value for your money. Nice simple dish of three chicken sticks and fries were delicious. It’s a very small place that is friendly. Could use a little snazzing up.

Wicked good souvlaki. I had pork, my son had chicken. Both were stuffed with tender, tasty meat and yummy sauce. Will finish the rest of mine later, if I can keep my son from eating it.
Good service too.

One of the best gyros i’ve had in the danforth area - tender chicken, excellent texture on the fries and nice garlicky tzatziki.

Some staff don’t wear masks in a small space. The gyro dinner had a decent amount of meat, but no salad, rice, or potatoes and felt a bit incomplete because of it. There are lots of better options close by

I had souvlaki pretty much everywhere in Toronto, I'm not going to name the others but believe me when I say, the chicken wrap here is the best.

This place always has people stopping in, so I thought I would check it out.

I got the fries with the sauce and paprika. The portion was quite generous for the price. The fries were nice and crispy and smothered with their special sauce. The sprinkle of paprika kicks up the flavour a notch.

2 things: while I understand it is extremely warm inside due to the spit roasters, I wasn't a fan of the staff not wearing his mask most of the time. The other thing was that while I enjoyed the special sauce, I felt like there was way too much sauce (it basically smothered my fries and felt like the fries were swimming in it). Would have liked if they had asked how much sauce I wanted.

Amazing food! Very consistent good quality - good spicing, good cuts of meat, unbeatable quantity those Gyros are ginormous, juicy and delicious.

The owners and employees are also really friendly, fast, hard-working and talented. I recommend this to anyone who wants to taste the real authentic gyros!

Not pleased at all. Tried this place since it was one of the only greek restaurants still open late on Saturday, and the food was not great. I ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner, a couple of Gyros and a side of fries. I thought my dinner would come with rice (since every other chicken souvlaki dinner I've had comes with rice). It came with french fries. If I would have known, I wouldn't have ordered a side of greek fries. And the gyros also came with french fries. Way too much fries for the price paid. The worst part is the chicken was dry and not that tasty. So disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Reply to owner: you didn't understand what I meant. I meant every other chicken souvlaki dinner that I have purchased (except your place) comes with rice. A dinner is SUPPOSED to come with rice. I spent around $50 at your place for half of it to be fries? Don't call it a fake review when you know what I'm saying is true.

I was there for the 1st time and was trying to get a recommendation but the server was so rude he started making faces and got hasty, in the end he just packed me one of the worst gyro dinner I have ever had and trust me I have had few good ones in my life.
They really dont care about there paying customers and want them to just get out of the shop as fast as possible.never going back to this place.

I would suggest if you are in the area give this place a skip and seek another Greek restaurant there are plenty others.

The worst greek food i have ever eaten. If you all go to the public health website you can see how many infractions this store has had and how many times public health has gone. Last time i went there they gave me cold gyro from the day before! The staff is really rude and the “owners” work on the roof and then come to the restaurant and handle your food.gross. All albanians and greeks have stopped going to this place from what i hear. Theres a reason for that!

After much hype I finally checked out local establishment, and I have to say it did not live up to my expectations.

It was very tasty. But when I order a chicken gyro, I expect the strongest taste that will stand out will be the chicken!

I almost felt that if there was no chicken at all, it would not have tasted much different.

The tztatziki was tasty. Fries were hot and crispy. I just wish the chicken was more flavourful.

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken gyro with fries and it was hot and delicious. Service was quick. Such a great spot in my neighbourhood. Would definitely go here again and order the dinner platter next time.

The best souvlaki that I have had in Toronto by far! All the people preparing them have experience working in souvlaki shops in Greece, so the souvlakis taste like they do back home. They have great gyros wraps with fresh ingredients and alternatives to tzatziki, such as their special sauce. It is a take away place exclusively, but there are benches nearby if you want to eat then and there. Also, it is right across from Pape station on the green line.

The guy asked me if I wanna add everything to my chicken Souvlaki and I said yes! Then he charged me for every single item! Once I asked him why he didn't tell that they're extra, he simply said "nothing is free! Why did you expect them to be free"! I was mad about the fact that he didn't mention it when he asked me! I didn't say anything and just left with my food!

I didn't mind to pay more but they have to tell me in advance before putting me in a position to pay!

I just found my new favorite Gyro in all of the GTA! This place is amazing! The food is phenomenal! Driven by it many times, finally decided to check it out. The prices are terrific. The Gentleman serving me was so pleasant to deal with. I consider myself a Gyro connoisseur, and this is by far the best in town.

Honestly did not expect it to be so good. It was really outrageous and loved my wrap. I will be a return customer. Didn't have time to take a picture because I ate it before I had Even thought about taking a picture. Bravoooooo

Delicious food, great pricing. Unfortunately the past few times I've been different staff members either weren't wearing a mask, or wearing under their chin, or those stupid useless plastic ones that didn't even fit to cover their nose. Not COVID safe, but otherwise A+. Please start wearing masks!

I do recommend the food at Souvlike BUT I will not eat here again during the pandemic and potentially not after either.

I have frequented Souvlike ever since I moved into the area 5 years ago, especially when I used to be coming home from work around 1am. If I'm being entirely honest, the cleanliness and hygiene here have always been a bit.questionable, as another reviewer pointed out. But I have kept coming back because the food is honestly AMAZING.

But I went in today for the first time since the pandemic hit (the main reason I had been avoiding it thus far is just because it is so tight inside and difficult to social distance) and was highly concerned. At first, I was very heartened to see the signage on the door as it was personalized for Souvlike and wasn't just the generic City of Toronto COVID signage. Then I went inside and oooooh boy.

Signage was posted, decals were on the floor, and all efforts to protect Souvlike's staff or customers ended there. No employees wearing masks (and very sweaty as usual, but that's kind of the natural by product of working in such a hot environment, it would be awesome if the store could get some AC just from a hygiene perspective). The posted limit of 4 people inside at a time was not being enforced in the least, and the need for customers to wear masks was not enforced in the least. Literally most of the customers who had masks were wearing them under their nose and the guy in front of me literally pulled his mask down SO HE COULD PUT HIS HAND IN HIS MOUTH and (maskless) staff said NOTHING.

So as much as the food is honestly amazing and I get cravings for it all the time, haha, I certainly won't be returning until after the pandemic is well and over. I also am honestly going to think very hard about returning and giving money to a place that places so little value on the safety of their customers and staff. It's really a shame.

Place is a bit small. The food here and prices are pretty good. My only complaint is the menu is not where the workers are it's on the tv as soon as you enter this place. So either take a picture of the menu or decide the first thing you see and you should be good. The place is a little but it's near the subway station and the tables inside are really clean. The place is pretty clean I would say give this place a chance

The chicken souvlaki was super succulent and the pork souvlaki was so juicy and had excellent texture! They gave us a sample size of their fries with sauce which added to our experience! It was my first time - my husband eats here for lunch!

I came here with a friend of mine last week. At first it looked like a little hole in the wall - very tiny place with just a few tables. Despite this, the food was phenomenal and the portions were SUPER generous - I definitely was not expecting to get 3 souvlaki sticks with my chicken souvlaki dinner! Overall, my friend and I had a good experience. The only downside is that the place did not have free parking but the Green P parking lot was literally beside it and it was fairly cheap. We look forward to returning!

My chicken was kinda raw:/ and the edges of my pita were burnt, not toasty bitter and ashy tasting. They also charge $2 for sauce. The best part of the sandwich was the fries and they’re from a bag.: (
