Spa InterContinental Toronto

From looking at the pictures and the site is very sophisticated and has excellent quality in engineering design and maintenance. I hope to be an employee within the team as a maintenance supervisor in a hotel.

If you are looking for a place to relax with your partner this is not the place for that. I booked a couple massage for me and my husband to celebrate his birthday but the spa was so disappointing. Separate steam room for men and women. The pool was full of children and families who were staying at the hotel. The bathtub was closed and We literally couldn’t use anything. We had to pay $440 for a couple massage only on top of that, I had to pay for a babysitter to take care of our baby but unfortunately it was a waste of money, time and money effort. I am writing this review here just because as a responsible person, I don’t want anyone to have a similar experience and disappointment especially if u have a special occasion. I also posted a picture of the pool full of families as a proof, but then I had to remove it respecting their privacy although no one’s face is actually visible.
The meaning of a spa is to relax not to hear loud noises and children running around. I’ve been to many spas in Toronto and they usually tell you that you have to be extremely quiet around the pool and at any spa area to not bother people who are trying to relax. Also, like most of people I didn’t come for massage only. I came to use other amenities and spend some quality time with my husband. Otherwise I would have used the local massage therapist in my neighborhood who always does an excellent job. When I looked at the pictures I thought it’s luxurious and nice and has a CN tower view, but even that wasn’t visible unless it’s summer time and you are outside in the outdoor area then you can probably see it.
Huge disappointment!

Let me start by saying that the only problem I have with this hotel is that I have nothing to complain about it.
From the way you are received when you arrive is nothing but outstanding, the rooms are well kept and clean. A very loud shout out to Fernando at the club lounge. Fernando is one of the best in all the hospitality personnel I've ever come in contact with, he is such a professional gentleman. Thank you for always making our stay memorable

Amazing massage experience. Very relaxing and professional. Jonievy is extremely knowledgeable and a great therapist! Make sure to book a massage next time you stay at this beautiful hotel.

My husband and I had massages here on a Sunday morning and they were incredible. Mine was with Marin who was absolutely amazing. I have migraine headaches, and Marin took great care to avoid my trigger areas. His mannerism, his technique were exceptional - it was actually the best massage I’ve ever had. Ask for Marin! Note - the pool and hot tub area are shared with the guests of the hotel which can be quite loud but the spa does have its own area. The mens and ladies spa change rooms have relaxing eucalyptus steam rooms which we also enjoyed. Special mention to Mimoza - she took incredible care of me!

Made a last minute reservation and they were able to accomidate me. Visited the day after two long flights to deal with a stiff back and left much better.

Booked a massage at the spa here, the staff are really nice, friendly and helpful! If you’re hoping for a more relaxing experience and be able to use the pool and hot tub try booking for earlier in the morning, once afternoon hits many hotel guests like families and kids use the facilities and it gets pretty crowded and loud.

I had a lovely, relaxing time at this spa celebrating a birthday with my best friend. The staff were highly professional, friendly, and accommodating. After we came out of the hot tub, they offered us fresh robes and slippers before our treatments, which was a great touch and made us feel extra pampered! My friend and I both got facials, and we felt very soothed and refreshed after our treatments. The ambience is also calming with lots of natural light. The facilities include a dining/quiet lounge, eucalyptus steam room, hot tub and a salt water pool. The CN tower is visible from the skylights above the pool. The lounge had tea, fruit infused water, and an assortment of fruit. While the facilities weren't as luxurious as those in 5-star hotels, we felt that all in all, this day spa was excellent for the price point. I will definitely be coming back for more spa days.

We had a great experience at the Spa InterContinental. The personnel was very friendly and the services we received (family of 4; we all had different facial treatments) were perfect. We all left glowing. The steam room in the locker room is a great addition to the whole relaxing experience. The only point to improve on would be the cleanliness of the pool & hot tub. I used both, on 2 occasions and the water was clean but the walls of the pool & hot tub could have used a good scrub.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the service that I received here. I requested a massage with nail care and was absolutely blown away by the service that I received. I was so pleased that I requested a facial service two days later. The staff were absolutely incredible - Mirjana, Luni, Sarah, my masseuse (who's name unfortunately escapes me but he did an excellent job) and Debbie took wonderful care to make this experience extremely enjoyable. They went above and beyond in every prospect. I will absolutely be returning the next time I'm here on business.

I spent a day at the spa, first getting a massage, and the service was absolutely incredible. Everyone working is so sweet! Mirjana made the entire experience so amazing and the massage was the best I have ever had. She focused on breath work and meditation during the massage, and it created the absolute best experience. I felt so reset and relaxed after the massage, and she made me feel so comfortable while I was waiting to get my nails done. She even brought me snacks, water, and tea afterwards, and she was the absolute best! If you ever have a chance to book a massage here, book one with her, as she is so lovely.

Had a great time. Lovely place, lovely staff! Mimoza was extremely helpful for scheduling and planning for my visit with my best friend for her birthday! The massage therapist, Marin, was great, too! Pool is lovely and steam room and hot tub are terrific perks.

The Spa at the InterContinental is excellent.

My wife and I stayed for the weekend and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna very much.

We both had a massage, one of the best we've ever had. The staff are great and attentive!

Spent the afternoon at the spa and had thee most incredible Swedish massage followed by a manicure, waxing and a gorgeous facial by Sarah. I was treated like a Queen from the moment I booked until the minute I left. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful spa. I had a facial with Sarah. She was so friendly and put me at ease quickly. She was incredibly professional, gave great advice and my skin felt amazing afterward. I would highly recommend a visit.

Came here to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. Lovely spa setting in a downtown hotel. Great customer service, and very professional staff! I had a facial with Luni and my hubby had a massage with Regina. Would definitely recommend these ladies for any of the services the spa offers!
