I've had 3 rounds of micropen & PRP here and the staff has been nothing but helpful and kind to me! It's a little too early for me to fully see all my results but I can already tell my skin is improving greatly. Helena is absolutely amazing, she is so kind and extremely knowledgeable, and performed my sessions amazingly well, I had little to no downtime with her and she worked with me on any concerns I had. I really really never write reviews (like ever!) I had to hop on here and let everyone know about my AMAZING experience with Helena! After a whole year of being a wimp, I finally decided to get a Morpheus8 treatment! I cannot explain how kind, knowledgeable, and pleasant the experience was. She even called me this morning (3 days post Morpheus) just to see how I’m doing, which is the definition of exceptional customer service. If you need a sign to book Helena in for a Morpheus8, this is it! Also, the laughing gas will be your best friend LOL. Can’t wait for my other two treatment!

I had appointment at 9 am but due to heavy traffic I reached late. But informed the consultant at 8: 17 am in the morning. Nothing was responded to my message after spending 2: 30 hours in Journey when I reached here no one attended me. I accept I was late but I did inform on time, if my message at that time should had been responded, I could had saved my 3 hours. Very bad and unprofessional.

Where do I even begin? Dr. Ladha is a gem when it comes to dermatology! From the moment I stepped into her care, I knew I was in good hands. She didn't just focus on my skin, but she honed in on my skin health goals and my personal health journey. She is approachable, making it easy for me to open up about my concerns. I'm in love with my new face. I shouldn't say new because I look exactly like myself just years younger. Dr. Ladha is so professional and she made me feel incredibly comfortable through the entire process. I recently had botox treatment with Desiree. I’ve been getting Botox for several years and I have to say that I had one of my best experiences with Desiree. She was very knowledgeable and thorough. She was also extremely gentle; her voice was so soothing as she was performing the treatment. Will definitely return for my next treatment.

I had a surgery preformed here and the entire experience was wonderful. The ENTIRE staff was incredibly kind, helpful and professional. They were always quick to answer any of my questions before and after surgery which was a huge relief. I am very pleased with Dr. Bell’s work and his above and beyond care for his patient. Nurse Sharon was also a great caregiver! She always explained everything she was doing before she did it, and she was very gentle which helped ease some of my anxieties. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this place to anyone thinking about cosmetic surgery.

If I could give a negative rating I would here. Although abnormally expensive compared to elsewhere, Dr. Stephan Mulholand was known to be one of the best plastic surgeons in Toronto, and surely he has done a phenomenal job. He is NO LONGER there and in transition of doctors at the clinic the following year, I had another doctor (Dr. Mike Roskies) perform filler and botox injection in my cheeks, nose and forehead. I can tell you, every single area he injected had to be melted away - WHICH I HAD TO PAY FOR - because he left a lump of the filler in my forehead that made me look like I had a growing tumour, and I couldn't smile properly because he injected the filler in my cheeks above my muscles and not below. WHAT KIND OF SURGEON doesn't know how to properly inject FILLERS? I asked for a refund but they didn't give me a refund despite the fees totally over thousands. Stay away from this horrible place. I still want my money back. I am shocked to see he is rated highly.he must be paying his friends for reviews.no wonder they aren't authentic and has nothing to do with procedures.

I've spent the majority of my career working with people in different service environments including being a training and development manager at a 5 star hotel in Toronto. So, when I say that I know what 5 star service looks like it's 100% fact. SpaMedica's service team is 5-Star! From the time you book your first consultation to the time you are at home healing their team goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, confident and well taken care of. Beverley is a wonderful coordinator bringing everything together from the meet-and-greet phase all the way to booking all my appointments and her follow-ups are on point. Desiree I cannot say enough good things about. She is extremely talented in her job and really made the process enjoyable. I've already recommended this clinic to family and friends and will continue to do so. This team deserves all the love. Thank you for making my entire experience a great one.

I went to SpaMedica wanting to look "refreshed". I am in my 40s, and the signs of aging are starting to show. I met with Beverly and Dr. Amber Chen, who made some suggestions for a subtle "lift". I was made to feel to welcome and comfortable by everyone, and I am absolutely delighted with the results. Dr. Chen is very talented. She listened to me and understood my wants (I wanted to look "better" but not "done") and delivered beyond my expectations. She is meticulous and precise, and obviously knows her stuff. I am very happy and will be a repeat customer.

Absolutely the worst clinic. Extremely unprofessional, different information given by different employees who don’t have a clue about treatments and work there. Do not purchase any packages from here, or services as it will be very difficult to even get an appointment. They make the prices up and nothing about pricing is given to you or posted accurately anywhere. Very shady place, they don’t take pride in their work or care to help you achieve any results once they’ve received payment for your services. I don’t even know how they are still in business. Appointments will be canceled on you last minute. A huge waste of money and time. The Aesthetic spa is probably one of the worst places I have ever been to and the experience is very unpleasant. I do not recommend any services here. This is an honest review.

From Ashley at the front desk to Simal and through to Cori & Desiree, these women know how to provide excellent service to clients. There was a bit of a mix up with my appointment and they not only made it right and seamlessly so, but made it a very comfortable & pleasant experience. My experience at Spamedica has been a pleasant one. I’m currently seeing Desirée for Morpheus 8 treatments. After my first treatment, my body didn’t respond well to the laughing gas. Desirée ensured that I was looked after and took me to a room where I could rest, ensured I had water, a snack and checked on me when she could between seeing another patient. She went above and beyond by calling me to ensure I arrived home safely as I drove myself that day and it was a two hour drive for me. Desirée is a very friendly, competent and honest nurse who put me at ease from the first time I met her. I like that she gives me answers with realistic expectations and not the answers that I want to hear. Looking forward to finishing my treatments and for my final results.

Helena Grilo is a technician who performs a thorough procedure to focus on the areas required to lead to a natural result, while removing years of aging and eliminating skin damage due to over sun exposure, misused products, etc. Helena is incredibly astute and extremely in tune with my wellbeing for the best possible outcome. My experience at spa medica was beyond exceptional, from the moment I interacted with the staff and Dr Mulholland and knew that I was in great hands. I had my procedure done during the covid period and they made the process extremely easy to go through. They were also very informative throughout the entire pre opp phase. Once I finally met the staff I automatically felt like they genuinely cared about my well being and they were all extremely friendly. Dr Mulholland gave me reassurance that everything would go smooth while also giving me an understanding of any complication that may arise. I was definitely happy to know he had such vast knowledge and I also got comfort from the fact he has so many years of experience. Im a male student with a part time job. So can we make a deal please doctor. I also have OHIP and when i go around the city of Toronto to look for a doctor note about my number 4 doctors are afraid to make one because of how hard it is to deal with. I contacted the health ministry of Ontario but their process to a solution is pretty slow and I dont know where else to turn except SpaMedica. This is real and not a scam and im living proof thanks doctors

After one year researching and saving money) I decided to do my surgery with Dr. Mulholland. I was lucky enough to get an appointment to review my options and go through details about the surgery. Needless to say, I was positively impressed by Dr. Mulholland; his approach and manners reassured me that I made the right choice, not to mention his experience along with his credentials. He was very confident in the results and provided me with a detailed explanation about the procedure. Liposuction is not joke, so I wanted to make sure I was in good hands and would recommend everyone to do the same, do your homework.

I contacted Audrey, the Senior Nurse Coordinator, who was extremely helpful and supportive and patient! Thank you Audrey for allocating your time to answer my questions, address my concerns and be there for me every time I needed it. My interaction with one of the frontline staff at SpaMedica was not the best at the beginning and was almost the deal-breaker, however, we have to understand they are dealing with a large volume of people with different personalities, from the snobby, the arrogant, the rude, the anxious and everything in between. She is just human and may have been stressed out that day. I met her during my consultation and she was very nice, so is all good Michelle. We have to put ourselves in your position sometimes and practise compassion.

Anyhow, I am having my abdominal liposuction with Dr. Mulholland on. February 2020! Hope you find this review helpful and stay tuned because I will keep you posted!

My overall experience at SpaMedica was exceptional! Their team is really friendly and welcoming. Audrey was so kind and answered all of my questions and fully informed me on what the surgery entailed. I had always been insecure about the size of my breasts and was nervous and skeptical about the process of an augmentation and how we would go about performing it while I was in school and working (in the construction industry). It was a super simple decision to make with Dr. Mulholland’s understanding and input. Not only was he easy to talk to, but his great experience and confidence on how we would carry this whole thing out without anyone knowing or noticing was very comforting. We were able to book most of my appointments before and after school and/or work. I also had the pleasure of being cared for by Sharon and Helena. Meeting them for the first time felt like I had already known them! Having them by my side throughout this whole experience was like having more supportive family by my side. They literally made me feel like I hadn’t left home.

Dr Mulholland and the team at Spamedica are all amazing! After having both surgical and non surgical procedures performed I would very highly recommend them!

ONLY ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION!

Visiting the Spa Medica was a horrible experience. I had a consultation for hair restoration. The building is very confusing to determine which office to go to. I met with a consultant named Star and prior to that the receptionist at the front, Lola, I believe was also very rude. I sat with Star to discuss my concerns. She did not seem empathetic at all.in fact when I questioned what was the need for taking a health card if the procedure is not eligible for OHIP. Coverage she became defensive.

I stated that I was not trying to be critical but this seemed a bit odd and may be in conflict with the Ministry of Health guidelines or confidentiality of my OHIP number.

She seem disinterested and only wanted to fill out paperwork I requested for The physician to meet
with me so that we can discuss my concerns Star stepped away asked me to step out of the room She came back and said he'll only see me if the paperwork was filled out.

I later learned from the intake consultant that was improper and she would have Dr. Mullholand reach out directly and apologized for a very bad first impression. The intention of the consult was to answer any and all questions regardless.i asked if another consulting nurse was available.i was told by Star she was the only one. I later found out that was also incorrect. I am to TRUST this clinic?

No patient should feel like they are a dollar figure or are a number on a deli board. No other hair restoration clinic required an OHIP. Card for the consult. If it was needed it would be requested for the necessity only.

I attempted to speak to Dr. Mullholand. I asked him to reach out directly a few times and he does not return my call.

The cost of the procedure is approximately 8 to 10 thousand dollars on average.i think regardless if it is 100 dollars, your first impression is soooooo valuable.

Avoid this clinic unless you to want to be treated with disrespect!

upon my experience.

A business only thrives as long as it makes caring for its client its only objective. The money and referrals then naturally follow!

I was a workshop patient of Dr. Mulholland's and received many treatments. His work is amazing and I couldn't be happier with my results. I received botox, fillers, body contouring, laser hair removal, forma, morpheus, and a IPL treatment. I have been following up with my treatments back at SpaMedica and the staff has been great! I have been a patient of Dr. Mulholland and SpaMedica for various procedures since 2008. When I turned 47 and started noticing the changes that come to the face and neck, I decided to act. I never thought I would do "something like that", but, la.the mirror changed my mind. I wanted to look how I felt: energetic and a little younger.not tired and slightly grouchy. As a nurse, I knew most of what to look for in a surgeon and clinic. I discovered Dr. Mulholland and did some reading and talking to friends who had friends who knew him or worked with him. All that I heard was reassuring and encouraging. I had a consultation with Paulette (his nurse at the time), then Dr. M. I was extremely impressed.and I am a hard marker. There was no pressuere that I felt, and I received honest assessments of what could be accomplished for me. My expectations were realistic, which is helpful.very helpful. I did not need to look 20 years younger.just maybe 10.or so! My face, neck, and breasts were my focus. Dr. Mulholland showed me what he felt he could do and I decided to put myself in his very capable hands. I had read about his previous experience in head/neck surgery and asked questions about his clinic set up and pre/post operative care and follow-up. I was extremely impressed by his requirements for pre-operative work-up (blood work, EKG, eye doctor visit, etc). As a RN with OR training/experience, I knew what I needed to see and I saw it! Additionally, everyone was polite, kind, and willing to answer all my questions. I felt very relaxed entrusting my care to Dr. Mulholland and his team. Dr. Mulholland is confident in his own skills and it is not misplaced. The man is talented.both as a surgeon and artist, and his results are outstanding. Having my procedures done (face and neck surgery and breast augmentation) was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was guided every step of the way.before and after surgery. (advised what to expect physically and even emotionally every week post-operatively). There was very litte pain.not any pain, really, thanks to excellent surgical technique, medications, and the ice mask/machine! (Loved that thing!). Dr. Mulholland did my face and Dr. Krajden did my breasts and the results were even better than I expected. I was not "over-done". And within a few weeks, there was no sign at all that I had surgery. I recieved so many compliments and nobody believed I was the age I was! I maintained the results over the years with FotoFacials and occasional Botox.and I am always treated like a valued client. It is always wonderful to go back to see Dr. Mulholland and the folks at the clinic once a year or so. And, recently, I had the privilege of being a demo patient for several minor procedures, where the work is complementary and the results amazing. I HIGHLY recommend that, if anyone is considering having any cosmetic procedures done, you at least go speak with Dr. Mulhollad and/or one of his nurses.you will receive an honest evalutaion of your own particular goals, and experience the very highest standard of care.

It is natural to be nervous going into an elective surgery but Dr. Mullholland and his team of nurses and staff really made this process easy. Initially, I had a few appointments discussing which procedures I was interested in and was explained each process in further detail. I decided to proceed with a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and fat grafting (or a Mommy makeover).

After my surgery I continued with my scheduled appointments to ensure everything was healing correctly. My body has been changing week by week and I have been enjoying the journey. I am very pleased with my results. If surgery has been something you have been contemplating then I would recommend Dr. Mullholland and his clinic.

We are very pleased with the results from Dr. Mulholland, not only is he an artist with his hands but he is personable, respectful and offers you advice that is reasonable and realistic. Helen, Mary Jo, Pam were amazing in helping me feel comfortable the entire night of my surgery and didn’t seem to act like it was any trouble at all no matter how often I had to ask them for help. Yolanda and Sharon have been absolutely wonderful and have made the entire process a lot easier post surgery with my follow up appointments as they are willing to answer any question or concern I have and educate me as well. The staff is amazing and we truly appreciate their efforts. The clinic itself offers many services, and is very organized with a wealth of knowledge provided to their clients prior to their procedure so they are well informed. It is wonderful that staff, including the doctor are available on a regular basis, so the patient does not feel nervous about an issue potentially coming up. This location was a big commute for us but we are so happy that we chose this place. Thank you for taking something scary (surgery) and making it feel so easy and safe.

Horrible first experience with Spa Medica I chose to go elsewhere due to a lack of organization and customer service. Had a consult for Sculptra and was told the product needed to be mixed 24 hrs prior to injection so let the girl booking know so she could inform the doctor so the mixture could be prepared.

Booked the appointment for the following week after the consult and was very clear about flatting the doctor know it was booked for that day so he could have enough time to prepare it.
Multiple emails and phone called to confirm my appointment and I stressed it every time to make sure the mixture would be ready.

Arrived for my appointment and they had me scheduled for a completely different procedure! When I wouldn’t sign the form because that wasn’t my procedure they seemed bewildered. I told them very clearly I was there for Sculptra and had booked it very clearly the week before. Needless to say they did not have the solution ready. Also as they did not offer a formal quote at the consult just simply said 3 sessions suddenly they tell me the price is 3xs the price of anywhere else. Horrendous customer service I would not trust them at all.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted breast augmentation. I have done hours of research into the actual procedure as well as surgeons. Through some friend recommendations I was referred to Dr. Mulholland. Naturally nervous like with any elective surgery. From the beginning he took care of me; handling all of my questions. Explaining the procedure in great detail and diligently following up making sure I was healing correctly. I especially liked that he took my body proportions into perspective and advised of an ideal size that would suit me and my goals the best. Himself and all of the staff at the clinic made the procedure as seamless as possible. I would highly recommend Dr. Mulholland and his clinic to any friends or family. I am currently in the process of laser tattoo removal at SpaMedica. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the treatment for me has been painless and quick! I have had two sessions so far and I am seeing great results already! Looking forward to the end results.

If I could give doctor Mulholland a one star rating I would. I got a rhinoplasty from him just over a year ago. When I first called spa medica to book my consultation they were able to book me within that week and their customer service was amazing. However this hospitality did not last long. After my surgery I never saw Dr. Mulholland again. They booked me a follow up appointment, so I figured this meant I was meeting with Dr. Mulholland for him to make sure my nose was healing properly, however it was only for photos and he did not make an appearance even after I asked. After my nose was done healing it started to look very lop sided and non-symmetrical. To ad on to that, I was having a lot of difficulty breathing. At this point, I was getting very worried. I soon after found out my nasal valve had collapsed from another surgeon I know. This only got worse, so I called spa medica to book an appointment to see Dr. Mulholland to see how this could be resolved. Once again, it was getting very serious. When I spoke with the receptionist on the phone she said I would not be able to see him until January.and I called in August. I can barley breathe through my nose at all so January wasn't going to cut it. They do not care who you are unless you are a new client and willing to pay the $500 consultation fee. I would not recommend going to them for anything. After my terrible experience I spoke to a few people who have gone to Dr. Mulholland and they all said he refused to see them for follow ups when they said something has gone wrong. They do not care about their patients post surgery. I now have to get a second rhinoplasty to fix my collapsed nasal valve and it will not be done by Dr. Mulholland. Post operation follow ups should be mandatory after surgeries and it is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful that he does not take the time to check on this patients. As a surgeon, as a DOCTOR you make a vow to care to your patients, in every manner. He broke this vow and as a doctor I no longer respect him. I am writing this to save all your time and money. Don't get confused by all his publicity and Real Housewives sh*t, that is all a facade. He shouldn't be a well-known doctor. He botches.

I had an FUE procedure a few days ago at SpaMedica, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. Isaac and the team were excellent, helpful and made me feel comfortable pre-op and post-op. Recieved a rhinoplasty by Dr. Mulholland and he did a phenomenal job shaping my nose into one that suits my face, making me look and feel more feminine. So thankful I went to him, he pays attention to detail and truly cares about giving you what you want. The price was also good in comparison to other places!

I went in for a consultation for body contouring at SpaMedica and I was surprised with all the options available to me. The consultant was very helpful and she provided me with a lot of great information to review before making any decisions. The staff was friendly and my experience with SpaMedica has been great so far.

Customer service is absolutely horrible, after operation questions and concerned went unanswered by the nurses. Appt are cancelled last minute even though they are booked 6 months in advance. Disregarding that people have jobs and other commitments. Seriously had better service at McDonald's.

The review is for communication and the idiotic meet&greet initial appointment, I wanted a simple botox injection but would have to spend an hour and a half in the clinic. After few email exchanges with the coordinator, when several times I specifically stated I only had lunch hour available during any time of the week and she was suggesting times outside of it, I picked up a phone and was told that my first visit would consist of meet&greet, consult etc. I had botox done before in Europe and US and it takes 20 mins, not 75 minutes, its not a plastic surgery consultation. Please advise your future clients about this nonsense in advance because if I arrived and was told I have to be there for an hour and a half I'd be forced to leave and I presume you wouldnt have refunded me the $113.00 down payment.

I was a demo patient for Dr. Mulholland at SpaMedica in Toronto. I saw an ad for someone with excessive sweating treatments on their social media page and I reached out to them in hopes to be a demo patient for this. Lucky enough I was chosen! I went into SpaMedica the same week for a consultation and everything was explained to me and they answered all my questions. Everyone was very kind and helpful and I left excited to get started! I have been suffering from excessive sweating since I was very young and it has been something I have had to deal with my whole life so when I heard about Mira Dry and the reduction of excessive sweating I was beyond excited to start this treatment. I went back in shortly after for the treatment and everything went very smoothly. They numbed me first which was great and the treatment was painless! It took about an hour and I was ready to go. Dr. Mulholland and his staff were very patient and caring throughout my treatment and I would highly recommend this procedure and going to SpaMedica to anyone that suffers from excessive sweating.

Terrible service. My wife had an appointment at this centre, we drove for an hour to reach this location, when we arrived, the receptionist notified us that we don't have an appointment and thier call centre dropped the ball. Even though my wife called and confirmed the appointment. The receptionist Lola was soo cold and did not offer any explanation or help. We will not come back again. Not to be trusted or recommended.
