Atmosphere, food quality and service justify the price. Food blew me away in terms of quality and taste. Would go back 100%

We recently visited Sparkly for all you can eat lunch and we were not disappointed! We primarily ordered from the sushi menu and we were delighted to find that the fish was fresh, the rice was well-seasoned, and the service was prompt. We were also pleasantly surprised to be offered ice cream as a dessert for our meal. I can't wait to come back and try more of their offerings soon!

If you are born in Asia, this tastes inauthentic and hastily made.
E.g. Pad see ew noodle was extremely soft and oily.
Yam used is not well chosen: hard and bland.
Sushi rice is much worse than what I had in Japan or Miku.
Not much filling in Thai spring roll, all crust.
No ordering machine, all you can eat orders will be made to servers while all other Asian shops uses iPad app.

This place took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting the food to be very good given how nice the atmosphere is and I'm use to mama poppa style Asian cuisine. Well this place was delightful. I love that they doing do tablet orders and the servers were extremely tentative. The sashimi and handrolls were very fresh and the teriyaki was on point. Tried the spicy noodle and it was well seasoned. Their drink menu was also refreshing. Their saki cocktail along with blackberry margarita were very fresh and we also tried the bikini martini which was refreshing. The prices are very friendly given the location and quilty.
Easy choice for a great price!

Great food and good service. It does not look like your standard AYCE restaurant. Torched sushi is a must try.

Overall, its really good. The menu is a more simplified version of the previous restaurant (Spoon and Fork) but the items are still good. Sometimes they run out of some appetizers, but it is alright. There are always other food items to enjoy. Food is brought out relatively quickly after ordering and staff do not "forget" your dishes which contain expensive ingredients.

If you're familiar with Spoon and Fork, Sparkly is essentially the same, but better! They still have the all you can eat Thai and Japanese menus, great staff, and atmosphere. Ross made a really cool light up drink at the bar. Definitely worth checking out!

Service was amazing this visit. The server Amy was very upbeat and happy which is always a plus. She must have checked on us. The place was busy because it was saturday night, but she always went around her section and made sure her tables were tended to.

The sushi was good as usual (Spoon and fork) since they told me they just change the name, but menu, price, kitchen staffs and management team still the same.

The beef and salmon teriyaki were better than other times I have been here.

Food came fast even the place is packed during a weekend.

This place is a really good place for lunch or dinner.they server told me they will have a new lunch combo menu that almost everything is just $11.99, that's even a better deal than a burger combo, lol! Can't wait for it.

My friend said It's a bit upscale for an AYCE place.

Will I be back? Absolutely. Been a regular here for years and plan on continuing that new trend.

It's pretty much the same Spoon and Fork as before, just rebranded. Same decor, same menu. That being said, the service was good and so was the food. The decor is nice just as before and we had an overall positive experience.

Had dinner here the other night and noticed the new name. We had a la carte, food wasn't great. Had to send the spicy tuna roll back because it tasted like mush canned tuna. The sushi quality isn't that good, food came out so quickly I dont know how fresh it was. Green curry was ok. Servers kept breaking balls and wouldn't let us eat. Rather go to Ginza or Koyoto! Won't be going back.

Very nice atmosphere and it's in a great location. The food was pretty tasty but I would like to come back here when it's not terribly busy. When I came here with my family the server messed up our order a few times and we ended up not getting our entire order. We told him and he was apologetic and corrected his error but to be fair we had a lot of people and the restaurant was very hectic and packed. Worth another shot!

My second time here. Very interesting Asian fusion menu, liked by my Asian and non-Asian friends. The location is very convenient and staffs are very attentive and efficient.

Best Asian Fusion restaurant ever! My friend recommended the place to me and I was amazed by the top-quality food and services here. I’ve been tried tons of Asian food every where and this is surly my favorite one. RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

This place used to be quite good. Food was always tasty and service was prompt. It's gone way downhill in the past few years and after my most recent visit, I won't be back. The new greeting from a computer screen is strange, especially having to input your phone number so they can text when your table is ready. I'm sure this works when it's busy but it wasn't on this occassion. The service was ok. Our server was nice but not super engaged. The food was a mixed bag. The fried rice and pad thai were good but the sushi was horrible. The spicy tuna roll was so bad that we had to send it back. It had the consistency of mashed potato. When we told our server about this, she took it back but didn't seem overly concerned. Some of the food just comes out too quickly to be fresh. We had barely ordered five minutes before the tempura was on our table. This is not a good thing. Also the bathrooms were not very clean and had a stale urine smell. Very disappointing from a place I used to really enjoy.

This is a Thai and Japanese sit down buffet chain. Great variety of food for a variety of taste buds. Compared to other Spoon and Fork place this is not the best.

The restaurant used to be called Spoon and Fork, and name was changed due to different owner as we were told. Food taste the same and has lots of varieties to choose from. Service is very prompt, our waiter Martin is fantastic. The only problem is that dessert is not free other than ice cream; not sure what the rationale behind this. If I go to a regular restaurant, I don’t mind paying; however, if I go to a All You Can Eat, it is expected that all food on the menu should be free. Hence, four star not a five!

Slow and odd service, instead of bringing the water jug to the table to refill 3 glasses, the waiter too our glasses to the back to refill.we asked how she knows which is which cause some if is were sick.we didnt drink from it after.and food did not sit well with is the next day

The old Spoon & Fork has a new name and decor. They have the same menu with a good variety of Japanese and Thai dishes. The Bangkok Style Pad Thai has the chili peppers on one side of the bowl, making it easy to mix in as much as I wanted. Service was good, and the oval table was good for our large group. My only complaint is that the miso soup doesn't include much miso. However, I was happy with all the seaweed in the soup.

Food was fantastic! Orders came quick, was well presented and delicious. Our server/manager Ross was amazing. He provided us with top notch service. Very attentive, great to communicate with and many times anticipated what we needed before we asked. Thanks Ross. Will be back tomorrow for my cousins birthday!

At first it looked like a fancy place with mediocre food. But the sushi surprised us. It was fresh and not far away from a dedicated sushi place in terms of quality

My second time going to Sparkly Japanese Thai after they changed their name from Spoon and Fork. The experience was great. Great atmosphere, staff, and food, they even have sashimi on the lunch all you can eat menu, I have never seen other all you can eat restaurant have that unless you pay dinner price. Recommend to others.

Exactly the same interior, menu, quality as Spoon and Fork. Looks like just a new (albeit strange for a restaurant) name. Service this time was better than in the past though.

Went yesterday over all goods tayst received full service very well one waiter look sad hope get happy soon fish freseh not dry like paper waitress with round glasses was good service unagi sashimi and snail very yummer good eat tofu and vagetal cool and good

Probably the worst sushi place I've ever been to. The issue is the food was not fresh and the menu does not tell you at all what's in any of the rolls. I would ask the servers and they told me they dont know either! I was also trying to order 4-5 items at a time so I wouldnt wait long for the food and the server wouldnt let me order more and it made me feel uncomfortable. Would not recommend!: (

Sparkly Japanese and Thai. Previous spoon and fork at Vaughan. Recently been here for dinner. Food was amazing, Staffs were friendly, overall was a great experience. Best Japanese Thai food around the area. Definitely RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILIES.

Had very bad experience last night the food was really bad all the fish no fresh as all as you can see in picture. Everything else is very plain no any test at all we can't eat all the rest until we have to check bill and go to eat somewhere else. The price for 3 people was 92$ plus tips. The lady who served our table was good. Only the host who seat us he seem not happy to work at all, we got diarrhea so bad,

One of the best ‘all-you-can-eat” places I’ve been too. The wait time isn’t long even on a busy night. The wait staff is also efficient by keeping dishes in rotation & making recommendations. Good for dining alone or parties of any size.

I've heard lots of good things about this place years ago when I was in high school, that the food is amazing. Finally got to give a try for a friend's birthday the other day. Our server was really friendly and attentive! She helped cater to every ask our group had, and handled our changing demands very well; more people showed up than the reservation claimed, and half the people wanted AYCE and the other half wanted a la carte.

I went for the AYCE and the selections were mediocre at best. Other AYCE sushi places have more to select from, and the food itself tasted nothing special. The rice-to-protein ratios was like 3 to 1 which is not very appetizing.

The decor for the place was fancier than typical AYCE sushi places, but I feel like it didn't suit the vibe of the restaurant very well. The large table that was reserved for our party was great but for some reason, each individual chair seemed to be a love seat, so it was really heavy to move in and out and took up a lot of space; in my opinon more uncomfortable than anything imo.

I would've given this place a 2 if the service wasn't as friendly as it was but honestly, I would recommend going to another place especially for the seemingly high price point.

Great service, super friendly staff and quick with our order. Nice patio and decor. Sushi itself.mediocre. Thai dumplings were though. Would recommend for a date, but not for sushi.

Quality has definitely gone down. This used to be one of my favorite all you can eat places. It is somewhere I used to go out of my way to go to but this time around I was disappointed. The quality of the sashimi and sushi has gone down significantly. I am hoping it was just an off night but it makes me wonder if I would ever go back

Went to Spoon & Fork for a company Christmas party and was not disappointed. Enjoyed the selection, the quality of the food and the style of ordering food.

This place is a hit or miss. I guess it all depends how busy it is or on the cook. Overall, the place is clean, nicely decorated with a reasonable menu.

Spend $90 for 2 people all you can eat which is a good price yet the food wasn't fresh at all mostly frozen. The fish was okay but can in small cuts. And my lemon wedge still had a sticker on it! Very disappointed

Went here mothers day, the place was packed reservation only. Friendly waitress. Bianca is cool.best dishes for my pallet are curry pumpkin soup, mango salad, coconut rice, coconut shrimp, the chicken and beef are not that great.

Very old maki rolls, even the sashimi was old. The green tea tasted like fish. Somehow they managed to make everything taste bad. The waiter was clueless too. Overall a bad experience. Definitely won’t come back!
