Ariel has been our groomer for more than a year, and we are very happy with her service. My dog always gets lots of compliments when she's freshly groomed because Ariel makes her look like a stuffed animal Strongly recommend to try this place!

Love this place. I have been going here for 3 years. They take the stress away. My cat is a real fluff ball, Katelyn is amazing, always takes great care to make sure she is well looked after and looking fantastic.

Unfortunately, my dog came back with swollen red bruises and does not want to be touched. I thought everything was fine at first but a day or two passed and I started to see the bruises swell purple under his hair and his traumatized behaviour. He used to be such a happy boy I hope he goes back to normal. Please be careful, your dog may not show signs of distress.

We have been taking both dogs here since they were puppies and have always been more than happy with the service. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of service they provide!
Employees are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and experienced. More importantly, they know how to treat animals! They will not continue the grooming or service if your pet is too anxious or stressed out, and will communicate with you every step of the way, if needed. They also make a huge effort to best accommodate the needs of your pet in order to make them as comfortable as possible before, during & after the grooming process.
We have two Shiba Inus, who are the best, but also extremely dramatic, yet somehow the experts at Spaw Boutique make trimming their nails look very easy.

Brought out cat in for a grooming because we are close by and saw all the good reviews. Unfortunately our cat got ringworm, which spread to our other cat. Our original appointment got rescheduled because they said they had another cat that was sick. Which we now know their way of avoiding saying that had at cat with ringworm.

This timeline is also confirmed with another review from January as we went in early February. Cats are indoor cats and don’t have contact with others, not to mention our vet said this was the likely source without us providing any of the details I have mentioned here.

BE ADVISED: they were aware of the ringworm and clearly didn’t clean properly before taking pets for grooming again.

Ringworm is not easy to deal with so this is very disappointing.

This place has always been fantastic with Atlas. Everytime we pass by he wants to go in so I know this place doesn't stress him. I have a 120+ lbs puppy and they are very patient with him. His groomer always remembers what she did the last time. Even though I don't bring him as often as I should.

My dog is very old and is blind, so getting her nails clipped is always difficult. Today, Angie took such good care of her, kept her nice and calm and was able to get the job done. They always treat my dog with care and empathy.

Best groomer in downtown area. A bit expensive compared to other similar places but it's worth it

Spaw Boutique is excellent! My cat loves going there for a hair trim. Keep in mind my cat is very social and doesn’t have trouble getting his nails / hair cut. Either way, the staff are lovely and the work is always superb and professional. We’re regulars and have been for a few years. Would recommend!

My dog Maggie's first time at Spaw Boutique. She gets really anxious and is 9 years old now. Lavina did an amazing job with her. I will definitely be back. Thank you again!

We used to take our dead dog here often for daycare. There was a dog treadmill and a very invested staff 7 years ago. I hope it remains the same.

My Pomeranian Kruise has been coming here since he’s a puppy. Long standing reputation in the community. Just be very clear as to what you are looking for in case you don’t get the same groomer or if it’s your first visit. My dog walks confidently leaving this place every time. Mr. Vain knows when he looks good. He likes to nap after coming here.

If you have a Pomeranian I hear Wendy is the best to book with & we made the mistake of not going with her. $150 later after asking for a hair cut our dog came back without one. We were gonna leave it be, but the reason for the review is how surprised we were about the customer service we were told we have a 7 day grace period & offered a spot the next day but must be with the same groomer (we work full time and booked this appt 3 weeks in advance) could only revisit the Friday which was unavailable, and offered a spot the following week which would require an additional payment. Just sharing, hopefully others don’t have the same experience we did.

They do a great job taking care of my Yorkie every time I book for a visit. Definitely would recommend!

A great place to bring my pets - dog and cat, for grooming, or just to buy some treats. My dog especially has been coming for a few years, for nail trims and for nice shampooing and grooming.

They took great care of my long haired cat who had developed a few mats. She came back looking great, with a trim, cut nails, and freshly bathed. I would take half a star off for the heavily scented products though, they gave me a headache.

Edit 2022: Years later and I have to just say still the best groomer in Toronto. Condi always comes out looking out perfect. She hates having her paws touched and yet they always seem to be able to get it done.

My dog and bunnies come here and I love that they take bunnies! The staff are so gentle and great at handling them when they go in for nail trims.

I brought my Shihtzu in here for the first time. The staff were super friendly, genuine, caring and loving and I noticed that in all 4 staff members I interacted with. Erika/Erica helped groom Golu and she did an amazing job, I’m very happy with the service. Golu seemed happy with everything as well since he had a smile on his face. Special shout-out to Erica who helped us remove a tick we randomly found, this was after the grooming service so she went above and beyond her grooming service to help us remove the tick safely with the tick removing instrument.

Ways to improve would be to put a price list on the website, consider showing photos or measurements of how much to cut for the dog (otherwise it’s hard to explain but Erica did a great job), consider having online booking time slot option.

Absolutely amazing experience! I was a bit nervous but when i saw the results it was perfect and he was not stressed at all also he is looking gorgeous! Highly recommended:)
