An amazing assortment of very cool styles to choose from.great personal service from the sales staff and fitment staff.all could not have gone better and the glasses were ready 2 days early.cost was more than reasonable.quite pleased.

Helen is a professional optician that has a true talent, eye and style for recommending the right pair of high quality frames that will fit your overall look and face shape. She is knowledgeable and will provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision about your purchase. Most recently my daughter got her first pair of glasses here and the frames truly brightens up her face! She looks so good in her glasses! Since she is a young eye glass wearer with a strong prescription already, I am so happy that Helen was able to recommend high quality Zeiss lenses to me that not only has UV protection and lenses that help with reducing strain on the eyes from blue light emitted from digital devices, but most importantly lenses that are specifically designed for young eyeglass wearers to manage the progression of myopia. In my previous experience with other optical stores that I have shopped at, they would have recommended me standard lenses, and I would have missed out on this opportunity to protect my daughters eyes during this critical stage. My whole family has come to trust her advice when we need to get glasses and sunglasses, and won’t shop anywhere else because the service here is amazing! Will definitely be back again and have recommended family and friends to visit the shop!

I had a great experience. Got new Silhouette frames in a timely manner, and Helen (owner/optician), patiently adjusted them to rest perfectly on my face. Very friendly and accommodating!

The only thing they don't charge at this location is breathing oxygen (but they will probably find a way).

Modern store. The opticians are friendly and knowledgeable, they recommended the best lens for my driving needs. I was totally pleased with the level of professionalism. I will continue to use their service.

The eye exam was so professional and perfect.

I was very impressed when visiting here. I was still nervous to go out during Covid, but after seeing the attention to cleanliness and sanitizing, I was more than comfortable shopping here. Every pair of glasses I tried on was set aside to be sanitized before being put back on the shelf. The staff was great and very helpful, and the selection they had was more than I was expecting. Will be coming here from now on.

I've gotten a few pairs of frames, both glasses and sunglasses, at Specs on Bloor, over the years. The opticians are always so friendly, helpful, and patient with me as we find the right pair of frames. The turn-around time for frames is very quick and I appreciate the care they take with my eye care! They also offer a nice student discount. Thanks Specs on Bloor!

Specs On Bloor has a great selection of independent designer eyewear - lots of fun colours and styles. The space is spotless and has a chic modern interior.
Helen, the optician is very knowledgeable and helpful. The optometrist, Dr. Michael Lee is also great! He was friendly, patient and extremely thorough during the eye exam and happily answered all questions - one of the best optometrist's I have visited to date.

Specs on Bloor has been around for many years and for good reason. Helen Tran, owner/optician is very personable and knowledgeable. She has an amazing variety of quality frames. I’ve been buying my glasses at this store for years and I’ve never been disappointed with the frames or the lens’s. This a very friendly, welcoming store. It's quality all the way and priced very reasonably. Well located on Bloor and St George, a minute from the St George subway. In order for everyone to be safe, it’s a good idea to make an appointment. I am so delighted with my new gorgeous frames. They are so comfortable and have received several compliments already. My family and I had a wonderful experience at this place. It isn't easy to cater to two adults and three kids! We were able to try on as many frames as we wanted and they meticulously sanitized each one afterwards.

Helen was awesome. She knows her stuff and made sure she explained our product options clearly and honestly.

I have been a faithful customer for 15 years with good reason - the staff are phenomenal, always hand pick a stunning pair of frames for me and, it never ceases to amaze me how many compliments I get on my frames. Highly recommend this time ESPECIALLY if you are on the fence around what frames best suit your face!

I bought several glasses in this place. I love the brands they have (specially Boz). The 3 women I've met were helpful, patient and nice. The only man I interacted with though, 3 times over the years, was unpleasant. I felt judged, ridiculed and mocked as I was asking questions. I felt so uncomfortable, I've avoided the place since because of him.

Love the service. They listened to my needs and recommended me with quality glasses that helped my vision, my drive have never been more clear.

Came to this place because one of the lens popped out of the frame. The person who attended me was able to fix my problem on the spot really quickly and for an incredibly low price.
By the way, my glasses are not full frame so fitting the lens back is not something I would try do given how thin the frame is compared to the lens itself.

Not impressed with staff at this optical shop. They are never friendly, and they especially don't seem to like not want kids around. I would not purchase anything from here. This review is being written after several visits.
