I have been to a few mechanic shops in my time. The moment i stepped in, i was greeted kindly and professionally. The staff were great and the owner Dino diagnoised my vehicle himself and gave his honest opinion which i was grateful. If you want honest, efficient, and stressfree service, this is the place. I love going to this location since they are always honest and remember who you are even if you haven’t been in for a while. It’s great to be welcomed with a smile and honest answers so your not spending money that isn’t needed or needed right away and estimating time when you will need to get it done so you can save for it and not break the bank. This is the second time I've been to this garage and I'm always impressed! Dino and April are kind and honest and friendly. They don't ever upsell services that aren't necessary and are prudent at making sure I don't spend more than absolutely necessary. Getting an appointment is quick and they can usually fit me in the same or next day. Thank you for being amazing!

For over 30 years I have been looking for an automotive garage that I could trust and have been ripped off more times than I can count. I never thought to use Speedy other than to replace my windshield however two summers ago I learned that they do many other repairs to vehicles!

After doing my breaks at a highly recommended garage, my air conditioning stopped working! I returned to the shop who said that I have a leak in the system and require new lines… long story short, I ended up at this Speedy garage who tested my system thoroughly and discovered that my lines were perfectly fine but there was no gas in the lines! (Hmmm?) They filled the lines for a very small fee and I was on my way. Two years later my A/C still worked perfectly!

The other day I changed over my tires to winter tires at a tire shop and lone behold, I started to hear a grinding noise and my ABS, Slippery road, and the ESP lights went on and off! I was sure that it was just a coincidence so I went back to my new trusted shop (who took me in immediately) at Speedy and wouldn’t you know it, all of my breaks were fine, just the rotor guard plate was bent in on both front tires and rubbing the roter, causing the loud grinding noise. In addition, these great guys didn’t charge me a penny because I had a free break inspection coupon!

So, on more than one occasion, they saved me from falling victim to unscrupulous, uncaring garages! Do yourself a huge favour and give these guys a try… I know that I will be returning to them if I need any work done

Awesome service!
My questions were very well answered. They were all professional, kind and polite. My car needed a few things done to it and it only took maybe 40 minutes. As soon as my car got there, all three guys checked my car out and got right to work. I even priced the part myself before I brought it into this shop. So I know their prices are fair. Time flew by as the lady at the front desk was very nice and pleasant to talk to.
I WILL definitely be back when my car needs work or if I need a oil change.

Had a break in my exhaust. Pulled in hoping to get an appointment. They took the car on the spot, had it fixed by the time I finished my coffee. Fast, friendly, and professional service. I would totally go back and also recommend.

I called and spoke with April because I had an issue with the coolant.
It was the afternoon and I dont live in the area I work. She was fantastic and reassuring, I brought the car in and Dino was able to look at it and fix the issue. I was able to drive home that night without any concerns.
April also followed up with me to ensure the issue was resolved and everything was good with my car.
I appreciate that they took the time to follow up and made me feel taken care of for this issue and any issues I may have in the future. 5 stars across the board.

The staff and service was excellent! They respect your time and are always available to help! They are efficient and know what they are doing. They live up to the Speedy name! But have outstanding quality of work as well! Couldn't ask for more.

Went in for a noisy muffler which they fixed right away. As a courtesy they checked my brakes and recommended getting them done sooner rather than later. No hard upsell to have them do the work. Went home and then went right back to have them do the work. Amazing customer service at a very reasonable rate. I'll definitely be using this Speedy's Auto Service for all my vehicle maintenance needs! So impressed with all the staff!

Went to get a quote on getting my brake lines changed (repaired), I clearly said I was just looking for a quote, they took it in, looked at it, owner, or the machanic incharge came out told me the cost.way out of range of most quotes I was getting, told him that, asked to get my car back and I was given a bill for $30 plus tax! IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUILD YOUR BUSINESS, this isn't the way to get it! No one charges for a quote! Give your head a shake!

3: 15pm on a Friday afternoon and I blow a break line. I have no breaks and I'm from out of town. I tried calling a few places but this late on a Friday noone was willing and available. Until we called Speedy and the kind gentleman on the phone said to bring it right over. They fixed the line right away. All the staff were courteous and quick. I was back in my car about an hour later safe once again! AND.it was so affordable. Some places might increase the price because I was so vulnerable. But they didn't. I will definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you again guys for everything ️

The owner Dino is in my opinion the best mechanic in all of Oshawa, heck I’d say all of Canada if I’m being honest here. He’s honest. He goes the extra mile. He’s always on time and efficient. Never looking to fleece you for an extra nickel. I go there for almost anything related to my car. Heck I’d even let him cut my hair if he did that too! Go to Dino way cheaper much more friendly than anything in town! 11/10 recommend

I requested an appointment online on Sunday, I was contacted on Monday morning within the time frame stated in there reply and had an appointment booked for 11 am and my winter tires were mounted on rims and installed on my car within half an hour for a fair price. All the service people I encountered were friendly and personable and my winter tires feel and sound great thank you.

Dino and his team were friendly, reassuring and very helpful with a muffler problem. The shop was warm and very clean. The service was 'speedy' and very professional. I highly recommend them. Excellent customer service. Thank you so very much.

This place is really amazing and would really recommend. My engine light symbol was solid and i turned to this shop and was really amazed by the fact that even though i was first customer and owner just opened the shop in front of me but he didnot charged a penny when the problem was due to a small vapor leak from gas tank. Usually most of the store tries to rip your pocket by charging 100 plus fees and than telling a lie related to code. I really gives a thumbs up for being so professional and not greedy.

Went to get my brakes replaced yesterday. Very friendly owner and staff. Parts were ordered and arrived within 15 minutes. Owner and one staff member worked on my car and it was finished in a timely fashion. The price was very good, saved approximately 300.00 from dealers price. I know because I called. I recommend this place for sure.

Dino is awesome! Always fixes the issues I have with my car. Fixed my ac, my belts, and wiper transmission linkage. Great guy and great team!

Great service! Dino is amazing and very honest on what your car requires and does not require. Would definitely recommend this location and will be back.

My first time there and it was a really good experience the guy was really nice overall it was a really good place to go and i will go there again to change my oil.

Call them up for a sound from the front end of my car. I knew it had to deal with my muffler pipe in the front end and I knew it was unsafe to drive with the smell of fumes coming in from the front end by the tires. Yes it was a small repair of reattaching a new small piece of a pipe to close it up. All the staff was helpful and made me feel safe during this covid time. They even checked to make sure my oil was good at no cost, offered me water, and helped make a good suggestion to something I was already thinking about asking about before I ask. The price was better than what I was quoted by others who work close to tons of mechanic shops. I will be definitely going back to them and would recommend them at this location to anyone.

I have a higher degree of automotive repair ability, from brakes, Ac repair, paint and body, suspension and rebuild a motor. I could have changed the front pipe myself, but it cost me the same amount if I had bought the part only at CT, Carequest or Pineridge, over Speedy price for the part and installed. This is a no brainier, I went to Speedy in Oshawa on King St. Speedy does not overcharge or replace anything unless it is necessary.

Sorry cant recommend this place.had front brakes done on my vehicle.offer a local discount but it appears the discount was subsidized on the parts cost.cost for brakes pads alone inflated over 60% (>$160 for front pads.unreal!) I could buy for list price from napa significantly cheaper. Appreciate it's a business.but that type of mark up is ridiculous.when questioned, only response was sorry we just charge what computer says. I will not return.and will inform everyone I know.the other reviews noting this are accurate. Bad business practice.taking advantage of customers.it's a shame.

This is exactly what service should be like. Very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and above all, honest. I started to see them when I needed a muffler fixed and the dealership I would normally deal with gave me an astronomical price. I visited this Speedy and was thoroughly impressed with both their price, efficiency and the way that they treated me from the outset. I can always get an appointment when I need it and I appreciate how flexible they are with their bookings. I didn't realize how much they do in order to keep your car running. I would definitely recommend them for your services in keeping your car running optimally.

This is a very good garage. Which is a very trying and unpredictable business I suppose at times. I have had mufflers, tune ups, brakes done at this location. Recently had brakes serviced here, but car did not always brake smoothly afterwards. I was going to take car to original dealer or have a retired mechanic solve the problem. I thought I might as well give Speedy a chance to give their opinion. They replaced rotors and front brakes free of any charge. The 'better ' half is very pleased with the car now. Brakes like a brand new car. Oh, I had two burgers at restaurant up the street while waiting. I highly recommend their service. My initial frustration was eventually rewarded with a great conclusion.
