I never minded paying a little extra, for OEM parts. The Key is a little. Jeep went down, Had to tow, replace a battery. Battery 381.15, Canadian Tire OEM replace 249.99,2 hours labour to throw a meter on the battery, remove 4 bolts, put the battery in and fire it up. Total cost 659.35 to replace a battery. Then The clerk says Glad it was not anything expensive. From were I stand, 140.00 difference on a battery, and 200.00 bucks to put it in is plenty expensive. Lesson learned today.

Great place. Had to go to a Dodge dealer to get work done on the computer components. Had to get a bit more done than expected but it was still reasonably priced

I recently purchased a used pickup off of Spelmer and had an excellent experience! I worked with both Rick & Brad in this purchase and both of them made sure I was fully satisfied with my purchase. One thing that really impressed me is that there is no pressure from the sales team when you are dealing with them!
They ensured the truck was in top shape, by completing any maintenance that was need including new Air Filter, Cabin Air Filter, and Brake & Rotors all the way around. They also arranged for the bed liner to be completed (which was a great job, and I believe it was completed by Rhino Linings in Belleville).
There was a few thing in the detailing job that were missed, but nothing I can't handle myself.

I was incredibly disapointed after my most recent servicing at Spelmer. I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler with 46 000km in for a routine oil change and servicing. The staff at Spelmer indicated that I required nearly $3000 worth of servicing including a brake system flush, pads, rotors, transfer case fluid as well as front and rear differential fluid changes among other small repairs. They made me feel quite pressured into adressing the issues using language to make the situation seem urgent. Fortunately, I decided to do some research and get a second opinion from another local acredited auto shop. As it turns out the maintenance recommended by Spelmer did not follow the manufacturers recommended intervals when I consulted my owners manual. The professionals who inspected my vehicle elsewhere confirmed as much. As it turns out, all fluids were in good condition and my "rotten breaks" were nowhere near needing replacement with 50% wear remaining. As a first time car owner and a young woman I can't help but feel like Spelmer chose to try and take advantage based on appearances. I will be taking my buisness elsewhere from now on as I feel a trusting relationship with your service shop is critial.

Highly Recommended. The staff are amazing so friendly and will do anything to make sure you feel welcome and confident about your next vehicle purchase! Also they are great with kids. They were awesome at entertaining my energetic toddler when purchasing a new vehicle.

Took the van in for an oil change at the service centre, only went into the dealership side since that's where the bathroom is. Sales and service personnel are all very pleasant, been taking the van here since I bought it new from them a few years ago, so figured I should have all the maintenance done here for record-keeping purposes. Much pricier than other places, but for the peace of mind that they provide it's worth it. Also, it would have cost me just as much to change the oil and filter myself but without the benefit of a lift and I always make a huge mess of my driveway.

Have lived in the Trenton area for four years and was looking for a service department for our Ram and Jeep, and was suggested to go to Spelmer. We suggest you look no further. Service team is personable, professional, courteous and always explain necessary fixes and updates, never pushing for unnecessary services. Our absolute favourite is Maurice but they are all wonderful. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.

Excellent dealership. For a while we were using the dealership in Belleville. Worst dealership ever. Do not go there. Decided I had enough of terrible service and went to Spelmer. The staff is amazing. So friendly. And helpful. And accommodating. Will recommend this place to anyone.
