Purchased 4 Bernat Blanket Extra Thick yarn through Joanne’s. Free pattern on label was WRONG “Big Ridge Crochet Throw. ” It called for a 22 crochet hook and 110 chains. I used a 19 crochet and the throw was almost 12’ long! So cut chains down in half and my first row contained 3 knotted connections in the first row and way too many after that throughout the throw. Good thing I bought 4 skeins instead of the 3 the pattern called for. Sorry to say for spending $100 I was NOT impressed!

Customer service is a hit or miss, but usually they are pretty helpful and enjoy and appreciate the craft!

Highly recommend if you love bernatt yarn.

There is currently construction happening at the bridge which is front of their store. There are signs to help guide you to get to the store, which was really helpful! The store is open, but they did have to cancel their tent sale, however, they have a great deal going on at the moment- buy three yarn get the third one free!

So go check them out.

Aside note: there are no public washroom there.

The isles are a bit narrow, so I am not sure how wheelchair accessible it is. You can go through most areas, there are just some tight areas but the workers can help if asked nicely.
