Sport Chek

After a horrible experience at another sporting store I came to sport check. Mateo and Alessia blew me away with their customer service even at Xmas when the store was jammed. Definitely be going there first next time.

This is an amazing Sports Check location! It is the largest I have ever seen and goes on and on. The is a very large selection of products of every type in the field of sports and apparel and sport shoes. Therefore you need staff who know the location and expertise around the products so you can get the right product for you. This is especially important for the hundreds of shoes they have. Our sales agent was M.and that is what he wants to be called! We got what we needed and will come back when we need more.

I came in to order a pair of shoes on October 17th. They informed me that they just sold the last pair that I was going to buy and that I can buy them online at the counter. So I did.

That was 4 weeks ago. I tried to track my order online but my tracking number didn't work. I called customer service today and they said they tried to deliver it 2 days after I made the purchase and it was being returned to the warehouse and I would get a refund in 30 days once they received it.

I told her that they didn't try to call me or buzz me so I don't know how they tried to deliver it. She said that she does not know what their policy is.

Now I have no shoes and have to wait another 30 days or longer to receive my money back.

I would not recommend ordering anything online from Sport Check because you might not receive anything and you will receive no information regarding the status of your shipment. Furthermore, your refund might take even longer than mine did as I will not be receiving mine for at least another month or longer.

All this hassle and I still have to go out and purchase shoes.

Those Gentlemen who work in Service Shop Are incredibly Knowledgeable and good manners.

Last night I went to the store 10 mins before closing to buy rein boots for my son, A lady who was staff just reminded me they will be close in 10 minutes which was okay. I said we will be so quick, We are lookin for rain boots. She replied that there’s no rain boots in the store. She pretended to check with her device and said no rain boots. She checked with her colleague and for the third time said no rain boots. It’s not a polite way to reject a customer. It’s not in your company’s policy to pretend and lie to customers. It was rainy and I had my kids with me. My phone was dead. I checked with the store staff today and yes they said they have the rain boots I was looking for because I was quite sure they have and literally surprised with the lady’s inappropriate behaviour.

This has to be one of the biggest Sport Chek I have visited. Each Sport Chek is a little different. This location has moved a couple of times and I think now has a home in the Upper Canada Mall. I have bought sport support socks here before and had great service. This location seems to be heavy in shoes and clothing. Very clean, well lighted and very well merchandised.

Sport Chek employs some very high quality people. In particular, Zane at the bike shop is very knowledgeable and helpful. He's the reason Sport Chek gets 5 stars from me. Give him a raise, Sport Chek.

I purchased a Nakamura Agyl 24" for my daughter (10). Zane was very helpful with purchasing and later picking up after the build was complete. All around good experience.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Nikan while purchasing a new pair of basketball shoes. I was in between sizes so he ensured that I had every shoe in a smaller and larger size for comparison.

He was incredibly personable, helpful, and expedient. It was a pleasure dealing with him and I hope to have him again when I need more shoes.

Just went to Sportchek to pick up some new work shoes, I don’t know what happened but we met Nikan and he seemed to drop everything to help us. Such a refreshing experience, he went above and beyond to find us the perfect shoes at an incredibly good price. We ended up buying two pairs he was so helpful. I couldn’t find the manager to compliment him in person, but I am pumped with my purchase and the service was a refreshing change. Cheers mate!

Reposting my review as my first seemed to be removed even though it was within guidelines. Unpleasant experience - ordered a product online for instore pickup. The order was cancelled out of stock by the store but did not send me an email or even a call to say the order would not be fulfilled. Frustrating experience.

I come here to buy my sports equipment. Sometimes it’s good sometimes not so good my latest experience was a bit odd, when the cashier was cashing me out she was snap chatting a bunch of her friends which I found a bit odd. The tennis balls that I bought were half flat and bounce really poorly I guess I have to go to a proper tennis store. Otherwise the staff are pretty nice and the store layout is good for getting what you want

Excellent location, great service, special thank to the manager Alex. Purchased new bike extremely happy with the whole process and the item. Definitely would recommend to shop at this location.

Bike service shop was amazing, The bike technician " Shane" was very professional, with a quick responds and fully understood about my needs. I'm very pleased with his service.

Clean, well stocked. Didn't have what I was looking for but the item was on sale at a great price. Was sold out and that is okay

Definitely the biggest location. Huge selections, variety of stuff to go through. The staff were super helpful. The fitting room policy is the best in these times. Only a few are open and the staff take care to have it wiped down after a customer leaves the fitting room, making it a safe for the next person entering the room, that being said expect wait times to get in to these fitting rooms. Speaking of staff special shoutout to Hanim (Haneem) who was super considerate and went out of her way to help us.
Similarly at the shoe section dint have to wait long to have a staff assist us with the sizes- they were spontaneous and quick.
Make sure to spend good 2 to 3 hours if you're heading here to get through selection. Overall amazing customer service.

Good product nicely merchandised poor service from the associates. Early Saturday tons of staff standing talking to each other. Was never asked if we needed help. When we approached an associate to ask about a product. We were show pointed. Oh it's over in that section.

This location doesn't answer the phone. I was looking for stock for something. Called 5 other stores and they all picked up. I've been trying to call this location for an hour now. Didn't want to drive all the way there for no stock.
