I ordered a bike trainer online which never arrived, because of some mess up with their delivery service. (Apparently, this is a common occurrence) The package was sent back to a Sport Chek warehouse, where they won't attempt to try and send it out again, but instead, issue a refund that could take up to 30 days. They will take your money right away, but then take their time to refund you when they mess up and not even consider to expedite and do right for their customer. They lack basic customer service.

AVOID and RUN away from this store!
Mr. Garet is the WORST Manager that any store can have.
He does not know the basics in retail management and knowledge in customer service!

He was asking to look in my cellphone emails to confirm stuff regarding purchase.seriously, you wanna look in customers cellphone? !

I went in last night looking for a few items. Generally, the customer service here is hit and miss. This time, I had a great customer service experience. I was looking for a pair of sunglasses and a guy named Mike (I believe, older guy) came to help. The service was what you hoped you would get any time in any service experience. He was friendly and real. You could tell he was really I to sunglasses and was telling me about all the brands. Also, talking about his own experiences with the glasses. He was more than happy to take out a lot of different pairs to make sure I found the right ones. Great service!

One of the few places left that you can visit for all sports. On our latest trip we got soccer shoes and shin pads for our son. They have a great shoe selection. The only thing I don’t like is because it’s right next to the food court the store is always busy. Can make it hard to get the help you may need. Good spot to buy Toronto team gear, especially Blue Jays.

Amazing experience today by all the staff I interacted with. I received prompt service and assistance to select the perfect running shoes. The cashier helped me with an exchange. Thanks to MacKenzie and the manager onsite for your excellent customer service. I am highly satisfied and will return to Sport Chek Eaton Centre for future sporting needs.

The employees are very kind and informative regarding sales, rewards, and merchandise! I had walked in yesterday with my girlfriend, and was approached by an employee, Kailla. She had greeted us and let us know that if we had any questions, to just let her know; this made us feel very welcomed. As we were checking out, Kailla had provided extremely great customer service by providing us with information regarding Triangle Points Card which would then give us discounts! Truly amazing staff member, thank you very much.

I had a discount code and was looking for a new pair of sneakers. I found one I like and wanted to check the price after the discount. I didn't know that I could ask the staff on the floor to check so I brought the display shoe up to the cashier. Both cashiers were busy putting something away or something else but not helping anyone. I stood there until someone noticed me. The Asian employee with glasses was reluctant to help me. He said "since you're up here I guess I can help, you could've gotten someone on the floor to help you check the price". I told him, "sorry I didn't know. " He proceeded to check the price for me and told me that pair of shoes was excluded from the deal, so I thought I was being helpful by trying to put the shoe back on the display stand.that's when he got rude and basically accused me of trying to steal the display shoe.his words were "I'll take that, it'll look like you're trying to steal the shoes. " I was mortified to be accused of stealing something! This is very poor customer service, why would I want to steal one side of a shoe? Walk barefoot on the other feet? Or wear mixed matched shoes? I sure hope that employee learns how to speak to customers from now on, he could've said it in a nicer way where he didn't make me out to sound like a thief! I'm glad I rarely set foot into this place. There was only 1 helpful gentlemen there folding clothes or putting them away and that's why I didn't give them a 1 star. Anyways I should've blurted out loud enough for that employee to hear after paying for my things. "I'll keep the receipt, I don't want anyone to think I'm STEALING anything! "

Horrible customer service. I asked for a shoe and they scanned it and said not in stock. I told them it shows you have many in stock online. They had 5 different color options of the shoe available but failed to mention that to me. They just wanted to avoid going to the back and bringing shoes out. Brand New shoe 2023 model just released with hundreds in the back and he tells me they don't have any.

Cant even try a pair of shoes. The guy was rushing me with my size. Wanted to try the shoes if it fits ok and comfortable but the guy was too annoying and rude.

Very helpful staff.price-point has risen to beyond ridiculous.not unlike everywhere but a few deals to be had.good quality products.

1 star for the god awful non existent selection of hockey equipment, there aren’t even sticks for crying out loud.how do you call yourself a sportchek but then proceed to barely have hockey gear? What a complete joke.

Sport Chek was pretty decent today. They had some good sales on running shoes today! I got some sneakers at 40% off which was good for my budget! All in all a successful trip to Sport Chek!

Sport check has a lot of and brands that other stores do not have. Highly recommend checking their product online or in the store.

Kailla was very helpful and cheerful while she was cashing me out! She answered my questions with confidence and we cracked up some jokes which enhanced my shopping experience. Very friendly staff, I will definitely shop here more often.

Staff is not knowledgeable. Went on a Monday morning and the guy sold me weight lifting shoes when I was specifically looking for treadmill shoes. Thanks for the cramps and do your research. AVOID

Offers a great selection of professional sports team gear. Looking for Raptors or Leafs clothing or accessories? This is the place. There is even a kiosk here where you can order your own custom hockey jersey.

I would not recommend coming here at all.the customer service here is terrible, also their were 5 staff all standing around talking to each other, having conversations with each other and ignoring customers.instead of doing their jobs and tending to the customers, and asking them if they need help they are talking to each other. This store is garbage and the staff here and people who work here are even worse.they need to seriously hire better staff who actually make customers feel more welcomed and help them instead of standing around doing nothing talking to each other.so terrible that this is the kind of people this store hires i will never come back here at all.poor customeer service.all the staff clearly need to be retrained or they need to hire new ones because that is crazy that this is how they treat their customers.i had to leave due to their lack of care.

A guy named ASH in the footwear section at this store is one of the worst employees a company can ever hire.
If you ever visit there to get any footwear just avoid this guy as much as possible.
I along with my friend were here at the store yesterday wherein he was very racist and too rude. I don't know where does that attitude comes from and why the store has still kept him even after this guy being pathetic and of no use.
Also, the other staff was not very helpful as well and were mostly into their own.

I walked in to ask about rock climbing shoes I saw available at this location online. Two employees of the store immediately told me they don’t carry rock climbing shoes. I pulled up the website to show them. And while they didn’t have my size - (or at least that’s what they kind of lazily told me) they definitely do carry those climbing shoes.

I don’t expect kids in a retail store to be experts on everything, but I don’t think it’s a lot to ask for staff to look things up without first suggesting I drive to another store altogether in Mississauga.

If your'e looking for youth shoes or youth clothing, don't bother they don't carry these items. How a flagship location, neglects this market is beyond me.

Cashier named BOLU was very rude, looks like it was bothering her to exchange the items I bought earlier. She tried to tell me something but I couldn’t really catch her but she said “ never mind“ while I said “sorry? ”. All the time she behaved really rudely. Never gave a smile. Very bad customer service experience.

Staff members Yasmin and Wellington went above and beyond today. They were so friendly and knowledgeable, I was blown away! It's rare to find retail staff with the level of professionalism and kindness these two displayed!

Typically, I avoid going to stores and buy things online to save time.

However, I was interested in purchasing a Yeti Rambler and wanted to see the different sizes in person. I can honestly say interacting with these two wonderful staff members made my day!

I had great experience thanks to the white young lady with the hair in pigtails. She was so patient and honest. I appreciated her expertise. As well as the young gentleman who was closer to the back who assisted me with checking other locations for an item in stock.

The light fixture in the change room fell on my head. It hurt quite a bit. I could of made a bit deal about it considering I could of got a concussion, or what if it had fallen on a child's head? Its a heavy round ball that hangs from a wire. I chose not to make a deal out of it and instead just let one of the employees know. When I approached Marion to explain what had happened to me, he did not even acknowledge what I said and continued cashing me out without taking any concern. I was expecting to hear “im sorry that happened to you, I will get management to look into that”. But he did not even say one word about. It was beyond rude. Absolutely terrible customer service. Do they not understand that if I got seriously hurt I could sued them? Its their responsibility to make sure the light fixtures are secure and should not be falling on people. Definitely will never come back to this location.

This store customer services are bad.
They didnt prepare the plastic bag, and just said we don't have a bag, and the cashier looked me, He seemed like I dont know how to do it. I was angry he tried to do at least figured out how can serve for me. I wont go there again.

One the most popular shopping stores that specified form sport.
Many brands are hosted in Sport Chek.
Like adidse and Nike and.
You could find many clothes and shirts and footwear on there.
I recommend it to buy however the price is not very expensive.

I was needing warm gloves. After shopping online I saw you could do pick-up at this location. After placing my order, it was ready in less than an hour for pickup. When I arrived, I was directed to the Service Center (not the checkout area). On my way to the Service counter, a staff member spoke up and stated to me, oh you're here for a pickup? He took my name and quickly found my package and handed to me. He was super friendly.
The experience from selecting online to picking my item up was very easy, quick, and my in-store was very impressive with friendly staff.

Nice place, good choice of the best brands at convenient prices. Staff is friendly. I like to go shopping there every time I go to the mall

I would like to give a 6 stars, however I've been disappointed with my exchange. I visited the store and purchased a pair of Nike reax on August 23 and today I found a rip in both shoes. Ii went to the store and explained my issue to both the manager and Alex at the front counter. After they looked for another pair of the same shoes, only they didn't have any left. So, solution was either pick another style shoe or order them. In order to order, I would have to pay for a second pair. I disagree with the way they handle this, I believe they shouldn't charge me to order, I'm already a paying customer.in all fairness they service is great and I've been to the store many times. I still recommend them and in sure had the shoe been in stock it would have been simple. My over all disappointment was the first of many purchases.

The staff was super helpful! Also, very friendly and proactive. Did not have to hunt for anyone.

Came in to buy a pair of trainers and some workout clothes. First time in-person shopping in a while and must I say, the customer service was phenomenal. Jasmine with the pretty eye shadow helped me with sports bras and training clothes. She was so nice and extremely helpful. She then handed me off to Madeleine in the shoe department who was just as amazing. It was pretty busy but she still was able to help me one-on-one to find the perfect trainers for my plantar fasciitis. The two girls were great, will come back if they are there to help me!

I had the most unpleasant and frustrating experience dealing with Sport Chek regarding an order. The store and their online team seems lost and have no concern or took responsibility. All I keep hearing from them is " they need to wait, and follow a policy" none of them could explain the policy related to my situation as it wasnt even related.the whole experience since beginning has been frustrating and stressful I will never buy from them again.

Wrong data is shown for estimated delivery time. JoeyCo is being used and shows that my order should have arrived 3 days ago.

They need to fix this to look decent compare to competitors. I don't trust ordering online from them at all. No support when calling JoeyCo, long wait when calling sportcheck and offer no help and put the blame on the delivery company (they are using them not us) I order from sportcheck. Sportcheck customer refused to own the issue.

IMO, My experience with them is nothing but smooth. Sportcheck online service is lagging behind big time compare to other shops i normally used. I am very disappointed.

Under this pandemic the front store pickup is so fast.
Same day pick up when you place an order before noon.

FOR CURB SIDE PICKUP

Please see attched image. For curb side pickup You need to enter through the ramp behind the Canadian Tire. (just beside the Marriott hotel)

Once you go through the ramp, There will be sign board "Nordstrom Pickup" (don't worry.you are going right), but you need to go through the same way.go straight to P1 level and zone #6.

The parking zone entrance is pretty confusing so uploading picture. Hope it helps.

NOTE: you need to get the parking token from the machine but if your stay is less than 30 mins.you won't be charged.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! If I could give a negative star I would. Went to buy a pair of shoes at this location and 4 employees where standing in front of the displays talking about some BS. After waiting in front of them for about a minute I had to ask "anyone work this section". The one who decided to "help" was extremely rude, I showed him the shoes I had seen online, said "not in stock" pointed at the display "what is you see is what we have" and then walked away. I saw the same group with more employees meet up in the ladies section to continue their conversation. I debated taking a picture then decided its not appropriate.

Poor selection, dirty change rooms, having to go looking for someone to help you, rude service at every stage (especially at check out where the cashier seems to want to get rid of you as quickly as possible!). I'm often tempted to come here just because there aren't a lot of options in downtown Toronto, but after one too many bad visits, next time I'll remember to try my luck somewhere else.

I was helped today by an associate by the name of Akil. He was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable, and very helpful, I will definitely be returning for future purchases. Thanks Akil, you were awesome!

Significantly understaffed at peak hours. Poorly organized apparel section, and cramped. Too many tables and display cases shoved in where there was room, which leaves little room for the many people waiting for help from the overworked staff.

Customer service is excellent and very accommodating; despite it being my fault for buying the wrong sized skis, binds, and snowboard, they're willing to provide full credits and exchanges

This is a horrible place. No associates on hand to help. Chaotic and dirty. All items look like returned. Will never ever set my feet here again

Came here from across town to purchase based on website telling me items is in stock sales tells me website inventory is never correct. Ridiculous I spend 1000 if dollars here lost my business for good

The SportChek website indicates a far greater selection of boots available at this location than are actually on display in the store. I have no idea if they actually did have the ones I'd come to try (there were random racks of boots, albeit in places other than the footwear section) because they only had one guy looking after the footwear section at lunchtime, trying to cope with a rush of customers, so it was impossible to ask. A waste of my own lunch hour coming here, unfortunately.

Staff was quite rude when I was looking for a specific product. I asked if they had any other water shoes other than the 4 pairs on display and the staff said no and just stared at me. They didn’t provide any follow information. I inquired were there any in stock, could I order from another store, or could I order them online. I shouldn’t have to run after a staff person to ask a follow up question. They didn’t seem to be interested in helping.

For the size of this location they have quite a bit of inventory. Generally I find what I’m looking for but online is definitely done really well by sportchek.

Went to sportchek the other day, they didn't have the jacket I wanted in stock so I just got some other stuff instead. But when I got to cash the cashier (Madeleine) told me about the online option and the free shipping, I ordered right away. She was extremely polite and did not make me feel rushed. I also got exactly what I was looking for. I am very satisfied with my experience and will definitely be returning back in the future.

Never order online from Sport Chek. This is my 3rd online purchase and they take about 2-3 weeks to ship out. Its the worse. Go to the store - if they have stock or selelction. They need to improve on their online and stock issue.

I like this store because it has a nice selection and is well organized which makes shopping easier. But the reason I gave it 3 stars is because the service wasn't very good. Butt hat was just my experience and could be totally different for others, so don't let my opinion be the only one you rely on.

Came into sportscheck to buy skates. The staff had no knowledge and were very unhelpful. The first person didn’t know how to measure for size, the second person (Jesse) refused to help me in tightening my laces even when I asked. He stood by and watched as I struggled to do the laces.after I had already purchased them at $200. The counter staff were just as unhelpful and very unfriendly. I would never come back to this store again!

Brought my bike in for a major tune-up yesterday using my free one-year warranty after purchase, and Ken the technician could not have been more helpful! Not only did he repair my brakes and gears without complaint, but he took the time to recommend road bike tires and further steps I could take to make my bike more sustainable down the road. He even made a DIY bike light attachment for me, which works perfectly. Ken knew I was a student, so he didn't aggressively push me to buy new equipment I didn't need, and because of that I will definitely continue coming to this store for more great service! Thanks so much Ken, my bike is running perfectly, and I really appreciate you being so good at your job.

Understaffed. On a weekday 6pm, only one or two guys in the shoes section. He refused to bring out two different sizes; I tried one size, waited over 10 min for the other size while the guy was nowhere to be found. Eventually gave up and left.

Will try to find another store in the area to give my business to — downtown Toronto is a honking sports desert for some reason.

They always seem understaffed and never have anything in stock. I wait 30minutes to try and get a size and ended up ordering something online, while in the store.when I do get help the staff are lovely though! You just need more of them.

Apparently being a middle-aged woman means you are invisible to Sports Check staff. Even their shoes become invisible when held by a middle-aged woman. Soooo no shoes for me and my middle-aged feet here.

I buy most of my stuff online but do show up to buy energy fuels. The service is good with little time wasted standing in line. I must say as far as the clothing goes, they never have my size in anything, but that's OK as The Bay carry Nike Tech clothing, sometimes at 30% off. Staff here are helpful and friendly.

I went into the store so excited to buy new Nanos but the customer service just ruined the experience. They didn't have my number which is okay I get it. But he was kinda rude, like he didn't want to work there. If you work at customer service jobs you have to have a great attitude. If you don't, go and get another job. Customers don't have the fault if you are having a bad day or you not liking your job.

The Store's Head Keyholder was EXTREMELY helpful! He went above and beyond to make sure my online return was rectified. He went into their stock room and sorted through tons of boxes to find my item I was exchanging that wasn't currently on the racks. I am forever grateful and will continue to shop at Sportchek because he turned a negative experience into a positive one. Thank you!

Very money oriented. The sales associate was nice at the beginning but he turned to a terrible guy after I said I already ordered the same product last night. I am pretty sure that they have a commission system, so he could get money if I buy it in the store. I still ordered the same product on sport check website and I just wanted to check actual product to see it closer. I really disappointed his attitudes.

This sorry check is quite organized and has a very appealing layout. I do find all the clothes to be extremely expensive, $110 for thin t-shirts. I am an avid exerciser and most of the woman's gyms pants are not that good for exercising for various reasons, basically buying the logo it comes with. There is not clearance section but there are some marked down items layered throughout the store

I was in a while back and am appalled at how a manager treated her staff. I asked a nice sales associate for help in finding a size, and she left to check for me. As I waited, I saw a staff member approach her, raise her voice, demanding to know why the girl “left her section”. She was just trying to find a size for me. Got my size, then I was browsing further for a gift for my wife. I then saw the same woman yelling at another staff when he was just grabbing some clothing! At this point I was disgusted and asked somebody what her name was. She is a manager named Amanda. Amanda, I don’t know what your experience is with managing people, but how I saw you treating your staff was deplorable, and I would never tolerate that behaviour in my workplace. How you have a job there with that type of attitude also tells me that there are issues with management further up. Everyone has bad days, but in a management position, harassing your staff is never acceptable. I will no longer be shopping at SportChek and I truly do feel awful for the regular, non-management staff working there. Looking at these reviews about how staff are inattentive, looking miserable, etc. It’s no wonder. It stems from the top and branches down.

Not allowed to try on display shoes because it prevents other customers from seeing them. There was just one other customer in the shoe area who was already trying on another pair of shoes. Felt like I was being profiled somehow as not a serious shopper. But thanks to them, I found the 20% shoe cheaper online. I don't no why I bother going to these stores, tbh.

Good products and a very helpful staff. I knew what I wanted, but wasn't sure how exactly it all works and they guided me entirely.
