Bad customer service and system …I received an email that my ordered bike was dropped off at the store then I received another email that my bike is ready to be picked up and I have 7 days to pick it up…and I was on my way to pick it up and suddenly I received a call from Sport Check saying that we received your order and we are working on it and we will let you know once it is ready for pickup and this might take sometime…I was surprised and I told her how come I received an email telling me that your bike is ready to be picked up and based on that I am on my way to pick it up. Was the email sent to me by mistake? She started arguing and saying that it is not mistake and how the system works…I told her your system is misleading and confusing and she kept arguing and didn’t apologize for their mistakes…I think they are not honest and that is why they have bad ratings…try not to buy from them in the future

Great place to get all your sporting gear and cloths here. Selection could be wider. Prices are on the higher side.

Left 2 pairs of skates to sharpen and picked them up within 10 minutes. Fast and good service!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The staff purposely ignore customers. I called and was placed on hold, No one returned. I called again and again placed on hold for over 15mins and no one returned. I went into the store and asked for a snowboard boot size and the gentleman went to the back and never returned.

Went shopping here today with my boys. The staff was extremally help from welcoming us when we entered, helping fitting room access and sizing. The cashier was super friendly. It was a fantastic experiences from start to finish. I highly recommend this store!

What amazing customer service experience in sports chek heartland. Just bought a pair of DC shoes. So basically, the right shoe had a little dirt spot. So I asked one of the associates, can he use something to wipe that spot off. That spot was probably there due to customers trying it out. The associate gave me an additional 20% off on the already friends and family sale of 25%. How cool is that! Customer service experience like that is hard to find. Hats off to the associates.

Went in the other day and I’m an avid sport chek shopper normally I cruise and get what I need. This time however I had the help of Tanner. He actually isn’t in a red shirt he works the skate counter but he knew his sh*¥. He was so helpful and made recommendations I didn’t even think of. This chek isn’t as big as say square one BUT the service here by Tanner was bar none! With customer service beyond dead Tanner definitely saved a little bit of my faith in retail!

Extremely poor service. Untrained staff who has no clue. Even a simple return of item can be super complicated at this location.
Drive extra 5min and pick other location.

Associates try to avoid customers at all costs. Waited to buy skates for 15 mins, spoke to 2 associates "someone will be there to help you" and then ducked from view. Please don't waste your time here.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They have discounts all the time.good varieties of shoes, work out wear, swimsuit, cycles, dumbells.

Great customer service and collection. You know you could check the items online and just copy the item number and give it at the location. They'll find it and bring it for you.

They actually have knowledgeable people that you can find. It doesn't happen that often these days

Came for soccer gloves and couldn't find what I came for, the associate searched and found a lot piece in the store, great customer service!

Manager of this place is so so so aggressive, rude. Has attitude towards customers. As if she is telling customers do not come here anymore.
I do not recommend shopping in that place

Friendly down to earth staff and energetic management. Way more personable feel and elevated customer experience surpassing that of the Square one location. Really good place to service your bicycle.

Customer service is terrible here - walked around the sales floor 3 times to look for help and didn’t see a single employee out. Tried waiting for the cashier to call someone but they were stuck with a customer that took forever I ended up leaving.it was ridiculous.

3 floor staff couldn't be bothered with helping find what I was looking for. Simply pointed me to where the item "should be". Not going to waste my time walking in without ordering online 1st next time.

Zero customer service. Employees on cellphone and chatting to each other. Managers with their heads down.

I called this place to ask if they had a certain product in stock (after Sport Chek Square One didn't have it). They left me on hold for 25 minutes and never came back. I hung up, and called again. After roughly 8 attempts, they refused to pick up.

Not a bad place, I probably visited at a wrong time or something because the store was empty in some parts.

I was looking for golf shoes, I got help right-away. They I went to cycling dept.same soon as I started to look someone offer to help as well.
Lots variety to choose from when it comes to cycling stuff. They don't have great selection when it comes to golf stuff. Since the the golf store right next door.

First of all no help in the store at all, when I looked around I found someone to ask for help she rolled her eyes to help me, ofcourse she doesn't want to help. When I asked her for maple leaf jersey in youth size she said if it's not here it's probably in clearance I showed her on my phone it's regular price don't say clearance here on your website. I couldn't find it the place because it was all unorganized, she left me there without help and told me to get from here and ask cashier to do price match with youth size. I'll never go back to this location, I went Trinity, Square one park plaza in Barrie they are all helpful.worst customer service they need someone in the who can assist customers with smile atleast

Soccer shoes collection not impressive at all. Very few shoes and no size 10 at all. Disappointed this time.

I do not usually make marks but when staff is rude and racist, I am bound to day this. This store needs to change their staff to smiling and welcoming and service friendly people. Never going to this location again.

Called to find out if they had certain shoes in stock was put on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up called back and explained I was waiting on the line. I was then put on hold for another 8 minutes before I decided to hang up. This call started at 10: 30 am on a Wednesday. Horrible phone customer service definitely will not go in to this location.

Visited store on Sunday, November 24th, around 12: 30pm. Needed the bindings to be adjusted at their Service Shop. Waited with another customer for 10 minutes and went to the front to ask if they could send someone. 2 "service" men arrived immediately; one disappeared in the back, the other one did NOT acknowledge our presence. He immediately sat on the chair at front, bent his head as he was looking at something on the floor. I am positive he was pretending to do something. We were talking with another customer about customer service in Canada. After being ignored for at least 12-15 minutes, we left. The other customer stayed. What kind of service is this? We have spent thousands of dollars in this store because we ski, skate and ride bikes. Never ever again. What a shame. Zero stars.

After waiting 15 minutes or someone to help me out after they had notified me that someone was going to be helping me I decided to walk out. What a waste of time. I don't think 12 p.m. The day before Christmas Eve would have such low numbers of employees

Staff needs to know what service they OFFER! Also stop lying about they never do that after I told him I purchased the same service in exactly this location for couple times already! Why people can be this stupid?

5 employees wandering the store, 2 of 3 cash registers open. Line up of 30+ people waiting to cash out. No initiative to speed up the line by opening the final cash register?

Put on hold for 40 min and it seemed like they don’t care about customers, the service shop didn’t do a good job last time I went there do a good job

Shout out to Aman in the shoe department. Not only did he made eye contact with me but also made sure he gets me the right shoes for my upcoming trip. You could tell he loves his work. I didn’t really had good experience while at the square one location as there was no sales person available to help there but would go back to this location only because of Aman. Keep up the good work:)

I rarely to never give one star reviews but my last experience with this particular store was ridiculously frustrating. We regularly shop at sportchek closer to where we live and never had bad customer service as this.

I visited last weekend and my toddler picked out a bike as a gift. We were browsing the store for clothing and footwear items but I found some areas quite messy.

The employees seem to really not want to be there, aside from 2 Male employees in the footwear section who were actually helpful. Others were talking or laughing loudly.

I took the kids bike up to cash and might as well have walked out with it as the cashier didnt even notice that I hadn't paid for it and proceeded to take off security tags and send me on my way.

Apparently I needed a work order for a tricycle so I went to the service centre at the back of the store. The service centre on the other hand is a bloody disaster. The 3 employees who were there couldn't seem to prioritize which customers to look after first and at one point all proceeded to help the same customer when there were another 3/4 of us waiting in line. They don't even acknowledge you.

I waited for 20 mins to be acknowledged and then be told I'd need to wait again to have the bike looked at. Understandable, but there were no brakes or speed controls to check. The work order for this bike would've taken all of 5 MINUTES! It's a toddler bike for God's sake. Moreover, the other 2 employees disappeared leaving that employee single handedly helping 3 of us at once. There is no structure or policy to how the centre runs, and its incredibly disorganized.

I didnt bother and ended up not making a purchase at all. Waste of my time and I wouldn't return to this location. For a store that was not busy, they could've done a lot better.

Very messy, in an empty store, it wasn’t busy maybe 3-4 customers in the entire store. I really like a sweater but it was on the ground, I Kind of don’t want to buy clothes from the ground!

We had an extremely positive experience with an employee named Paul working in the skate service department. He helped us choose a hockey helmet and facemask to fit our son and even installes the mask to the helmet. He made us feel like we mattered and we were happy to have our children witness such a positive experience. The quality and price was great! Thanks Paul!

Quality is good, prices can be more competitive. I find that their shoes are reasonably priced. We been buying shoes from here since a long time now. For clothing, their online store has better sales

Very nice big box retail centre. Has a good selection of stores to please every member of the family. Definitely worth a visit.

Free Parking, Sport items are well placed and organized. Some items are very expensive. Customer service is good.
