Excellent service. The manager contacted me about a past visit where I didn't get great service, and had me come back today for a much more amazing experience. Very friendly, very comfortable place. I recommend highly if this is how they're going to guarantee your satisfaction.

Generally get my haircuts done with sanja, always does an amazing job, can’t go anywhere else when I need my hair cut

The VIP is nice, hair wash, scalp massage and a shoulder massage with some electric massager. The haircut was meh.

Katrina is amazing! Gave my teenage son a whole new look and lovely person to converse with! We will be a return client of hers!

Went to get hair cut, one lady told me the price was $27, when there was my turn, the hair dresser who took me told me $33 plus $10 for lady’s hair. I was fine with it, but she did a terrible job
But I still tipped her $ 7, she gave me faces right away when I was paying. I paid $55 in total, and I think it’s not worth it at all! Not recommended for lady’s hair cut!
By the way, looks like they are doing a good job on men’s hair cut.

Yesterday morning I visited this location just because the location I used to go to in Stoney Creek closed recently. When I walked in the lady was so rude to me and then when I said I am there for a beard trim she heard beard cream and then was making fun of me with a coworker of same ethnicity in her native language.

She was so ill mannered and even during a trim she was commenting on my hair and beard in a rude way.

When I was on my way home I realized my Jacket was left there. They did not pick my call although there were no customers at the salon at that time. I regret paying tip and would rather pay couple of bucks extra for the service elsewhere instead of going back to person like this.

Great place for a cut! I don't even watch sports but I always have a great cut here. Christhine is my usual stylist and she does amazing work and is great with suggestions.

I got to say this places rocks with great customer service and great professional hair cutting. The beautiful blonde girl there really listened to what I had asked her to do with my son's hair and performed the haircut extremely well and turned out that in 11 years my son has been getting his haircut this for sure has been the best ever, thank you Sports Clips and I really recommend this store. The blonde girl which I really like to know her name is a great asset to your company.

I’ve been going to Sports Clips on Upper James for about 5yrs now or maybe 4yrs can’t recall. If anyone is looking for a great cut at a very reasonable price, I highly recommend Sports Clips Upper James and Rymal in the small plaza right beside State and Main Restaurant. U can check in on line and it will give u an arrival time for your turn and u can even pick the person to cut your hair. I recommend LeAnn, she is fantastic. LeAnn is a professional at her craft, makes u feel right at home and a great conversationalist. I will also recommend to get the MVP you will not be disappointed. It’s pre cut, wash with head massage, hot towel and ur sitting in a massage chair that vibrates, so relaxing. Then back to the chair for a shoulder massage and some final touch ups finishing with a blow dry and style. 10/10 every visit.

The staff there are very friendly and do a great job with the cut and MVP wash. Tamira normally cuts my hair and she does an excellent job making me look my best despite me never knowing how to describe my preferred cut. All staff there have done a great job cutting my kids hair.

The worse place for anyone with special needs. They are extremely unprofessional do a patch up job and are very judgemental. Anyone with special needs child definitely needs to avoid this place. Do not recommend!

Amazing place, my son and myself both got our haircuts here, and the staff by far the nicest we both have had the pleasure of dealing with. Very kind and friendly keep up the great work, because you now have two loyal clients and friends.

Terrible and extremely bad customer service!
We wait 24 minutes and then, the rep came and ask us for our names then she said: "OK just wait" we wait another 15 minutes, time enough to see how another Worker started and cut the hair of another customer.
So, when the second Worker finished, we asked her to cut my son's hair and she said, Yes ok. Then the first Worker came back and said: ops I was in the washroom". Then both workers went to the back of the store and started to chat, even when another customer arrive with his son and was waiting for them and complaining that the system didn't work and he was trying to sign up to schedule his son's haircut.
We both left the store without haircuts because we are not giving our money to people who are discriminating us (we are visible minorities) or because they are lazy and don't care for their customers.
We have been in many sports clips stores, but for sure we will never go back to this location, nor recommend it to anyone.

Great staff. Great for women with short hairstyles. Never a long wait. Reasonably priced. Will definitely keep going here. (instead of Great Clips which is always busy, and have to wait most of the time.)

Brought my 2 year old son here yesterday to get a haircut, my son screamed his head off and cried but our hairdresser Adel stayed calm with him and did a great job! He looks adorable.

Stopped in on my way through to play golf out of my usual area and had a great experience. Good cut, quick and easy, and good value.

Bad service. When you are trying to squeeze in your haircut during a lunch break, or sucks when their systems aren’t accurate. Online it showed no wait, when I get there I’m told at most 15 minutes even though the system on their wall shows 55 minutes with only one guy ahead of me. So I come back after waiting the 15 minutes and wait another 10 minutes before being told to wait another 10 mins.so basically 35 mins you can see we are approaching the 55 minutes wait time which was on the wall to begin with. I don’t understand why you can’t be more accurate with your wait times and you have an entire online system that people value for coming to your establishment. It’s such a waste of my time when I am trying to get my haircut during my workday. You need to modernize your operations, this is the second time I’ve had to wait much longer than what I’m led to believe online. Today I’m told it has to do with a shift change as the excuse.

As a female it feels great to go to a place like this which appears to cater to men and still receive such excellent service! I love my new cut and couldn't be more happy to have stumbled upon this place!

Tina was absolutely a kid whisperer
to my son who would not allow a single person to come at him with clippers or scissors! She has a spiritual connection to my kid that makes him feel assured and calm while watching his ipad. All othe times we have attempted with all sorts of distractions it never worked like it did for Tina! She is wonderful person! I totally recommend her for anyone especially scared little ones!

Went today for the 1st time with 3 grandsons, one 1st cut, and wife and I. I'm very pleased with my cut and kids all like there's too.

Worst haircut ever today and I once got a haircut for $5 bucks. My wife, who doesn't cut hair, cut mine during the pandemic and it was better than the haircut I got today.

It was my second time here. The first time was decent so I thought I'd give them another try. The hairdresser was distracted and inattentive and I paid the price. I don't care what's going on I'm paying for a service and expecting a professional haircut. I should have just shaved my head at home and threw thirty dollars in the garage.
They are mostly polite and the place is clean. I love the concept but poor hairdressers undo it. I'll be wearing a hair for the next couple of months.
I almost never write a negative review but this was too much. I'll update the review depending on how Sports clips responds.

The experience was a great one. Shop was clean and the protocols were followed prior to the haircut. Had a great cut done and I'm very happy with the way things turned out. Stylist is skilled and knew her stuff.

We came with my husband to the hairdresser because a friend recommended us and gave us a card for free first service. The person who attended us at the desk has terrible customer service and not to mention the person who cut my husband's hair, his face showed everything. Except kindness or desire to attend. I would definitely not recommend this place, the idea is good but people are unfriendly and for me that is more important in a place like a hairdresser.

First free haircut was awesome, however there are so many people one of the ladies did not follow my specific instructions and messed up my hair. I had to go to another place to get my hair fixed. It was really really bad service using some fancy conditioner doesn't justify a 23$ haircut. Manager emailed me not offering any Goodwill to get me to come back.

Take my two boys there and they like the cuts they are getting. I strongly recommend booking online to help minimize the wait times

Friendly, clean and a very professionally run place. Everyone is trained and super professional. Joan is one the best, if not the best! We followed Joan from her previous place of work. Every appointment with her is a lot of fun and laughter and, of course, an amazing haircut. Highly recommend this SportClips location and Joan!

Sabrina is absolutely amazing. She’s the only one my 6 year old son max will let cut his hair. She makes him feel extremely comfortable and her attention to detail is above and beyond. Very quick service and great haircut. I asked for a high fade with a little off the top and got exactly what I wanted. The shampoo and wash with the towel wrap definitely finishes the haircut experience with you feeling better, worth the extra buck every time. These ladies love to make sure you leave pleased with service and theirs always a smile to greet you

Joan is a great barber she's very passionate about his job and great attention to detail. The barber shop itself is clean and cozy, they offer coffee and people there are super friendly. It's more like an old school barber shop with genuine good people. Definitely not a fake or hyped thing

I recently switched my barber over to Great Clips. Overall I have had very good experiences here. I am usually taken in right away and if not I only have to wait a few minutes. They save your regular haircut so they always know what you get. The barbers are quick and they do a really good job. Price is also good too. Overall, I think I am going to keep them as my regular barber.

Always get the best treatment and haircut at this sports clips. Everyone is friendly and any stylist will get the job done but Tina is the best. She's like my bff now.

I came in this evening, and had no problem getting in for a cut even with about 20 minutes to spare. The barber was very articulate and took her time cutting. I got what I asked for! I have no problem coming back as the location is close to home. Wish I would have known earlier about this barber shop.

Nice place to get a cut. TVs on the walls to watch while they do your hair, but staff is nice and friendly if you prefer chatting. Got a great cut.
