John, was very patient and professional. He gave my son and husband both amazing haircuts. Quite an artist.

Well recommended, i walked into a clean environment run by a very polite professional, dude was passionate and confident about his work and it was noticeable upon entering. I left feeling way more confident than i did before hand. I will be coming back again

To put things into perspective…. We live in a big busy world. But there is only one person I entrust with the task of cutting my hair. John is a master barber.

I have been a client at this Barber shop for over 30 years. Friendly service and very consistent results.

John the Barber is by far the BEST in the city! I've been seeing him for 25 years and I would follow him anywhere. He does not take appointments but worth the wait. Most times you get in within 10 minutes.

What can i say? He is a good barber and nice guy.
But today he did something that wasn't in good value.
I asked for a hair cut and he told me to wait around but he couldnt have nore than 4 people in. That's totally fine. My home is right beside him so i tell the guy who is waiting outside that I'm just going to go to my house and come back.
I come back 30 mins later and he has only seen 1 more customer and the guy who was outside is now waiting inside for his turn. No problem. I was still willing to wait but the barber saw me and said he couldn't see me outside so i had to wait my turn for the others that came after me. He said it was because i didn't tell him where i was going. This doesn't make any sense. He still hadn't even seen the guy in front of me yet. I knew that since there was originally 3 people ahead of me and 1 barber this was going to be over an hour wait.
The fact that he already told me to wait around and i confirmed that i would indicates that i want his service. There is no reason for him to set some rule that i had to be right outside his door in the cold weather. And again he hadn't even seen the guy in front of me yet.
Then he made it an issue in front of all the customers as if i was at fault.
At the end of the day he can set his own personal rule and that's fine.
But it does not make sense. It not even a credit to the other people who came after me.
The real unfortunate thing is that i always give him an extra 10 to 20 dollar tip. Guess that doesn't mean anything.

Almost every business is doing things by appointment. As to why he isn't and thinks its totally fine making people wait both inside and outside for hours is beyond me.

Classic barber shop. One old men with lots of stories, another younger that is great. It's not modern at all is old and great like what a neighbourhood barber shop should be.

I've been going to this barbershop once a month for probably the last 10 years now. I consider Johnny, the owner and primary barber, a good friend due to all my visits. The secondary barber alternates between a few faces and they're all such nice people. You get more than just a hair cut when you go in, you also get a great conversation and a few good laughs. Cuts are great and the prices are fair, definitely recommend!

Old school Italian barbers very friendly I just finished my first cut, I will definitely be going here from now on and will bring my son!

Going there for last 14 years and there is no better place in town to get the cut the way you want. Best by far Italian barber - John!

Been going here for 40 years, Johnny is great, down to earth, and skilled barber. Spends the time to make you look good.
