Good sushi! But because of the AYCE, you definitely get the sense that you are being rushed out. But still really good.

I found that the ambiance of this restaurant was amazing. Service was also very good (great attitude from staff), but on occasion, items from our orders were not delivered or we received items we did not order. With regards to the food, I didn't find it to be particularly outstanding. It was pretty standard as far as AYCE sushi goes:) I don't usually have AYCE in Toronto, but I found it odd that dessert was extra, as it is usually included in the AYCE at all of my more local sushi restaurants.

Book in advance, the place was very full!

Spring sushi gets a lot of hate but it’s an OG for ayce and has stood the test of time for a reason.

Lots of menu variety and they have a lot of kitchen staff, so food comes out quick.

Everything is decent quality. They have a 1.5 hour seating time

I was a frequent diner of the all you can eat “Spring Rolls” restaurant at Yonge & Dundas before they closed. So, I was excited when I found out about this place. It’s conveniently located near the movie theatre.

I took my nephews here for a birthday celebration & they really enjoyed themselves. I think management should invest in better internet/wifi though. The tablets were very slow during our visit. Also, there’s only one tablet per table, so it makes ordering a bit inconvenient. I’d also suggest you make a reservation if you’re going on the weekend.

Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. We with a decent variety.

Quite disappointing, the sushi was 99% rice and that tiny fish portion it had was old.
They also charge 7dollars for tea without warning you when ordering as part of ayce. Would not go back

Good restaurant. I went here tonight and the waiter was really nice and he helped us a lot. They had egg inside a dish and the waiter was nice and he brought it back to the kitchen. They also have tons of options to choose from and they're all relatively affordable. Did not cost that much and the portions are huge.they give a lot of edamame and a-lot of rice in the bowls. Next time though, I would ask for less rice. And they have really cool ipads that you can order off of, and the food came super quick. I ordered an avocado sushi and it literally came 2 minutes later. Wow! Also, it's a bit dark in there and not that well lit. But overall good restaurant!

Very good for AYCE sushi. It was $35 per head for dinner AYCE. The sashimi selection is a little bit light but that’s not surprising for AYCE. If it’s not packed they’re quite relaxed on the 1.5hrs time limit. The sushi was fresh and the rice was a good size so they weren’t just trying to fill you up on carbs.

My favorite sushi place in Toronto. Love the wide selection of sushi and how fast the service is! It's great. Definitely worth the price.

Went to this “All You Can Eat” fine dining and was pleasantly suprised by their enormous selection of dishes. They have soups, sashimi, sushi, fried rice as well as deep fried choices of shrimps and veg options. Their dessert options are pretty good as well.

Added to that, it is in the heart of the city (opposite to Dundas Square) and the ambience is pretty nice. You need to order your selection on a tablet and get it delivered to your table. In that way, it cuts down on the age old tradition of leaving your table and getting from the buffet. They do insist on a 1.5 hour time limit though.

The dishes and sushi are well prepared and most of the dishes are seafood based. So, if you are a seafood enthusiast like me, you definitely need to check this place out!

Miso soup, Taro chips, Mango salad, BBQ eel roll and the Coconut Shrimp are the top recommends! For ice creams, try out the mango stick one!

I loved this place!
Everyone is nice, the place is clean (from what I remember) and the view is pretty good. Not to mention I liked the Ipad idea instead of those flimsy menus that can get old and turn yellow.
Now every sushi place I go to (even outside of the country) I compare it to Spring Sushi because this is what every sushi restaurant should strive to be like or better.
Can't wait to come back and enjoy everything again!

Premium sushi experience if you like all-you-can-eat. The menu was pretty comprehensive and had options beyond sushi, including ramen noodles, teriyaki, salads, deep fried and dessert. So you won’t be restricted for choices!

You order 10 items at a time and the food is brought to the table pretty quickly. You can order as many times as you like. They do mention having a 1.5 hour time limit for each table though. The sushi was fresh and satisfying. Although I felt they could have some more options for fish for those looking to try something out of the ordinary. If you’re going on a weekend then be sure to keep half an hour for waiting in line.

Good location, nicely decorated establishment, beautiful view out the large windows. The staff were friendly.

The sushi however was just okay. The miso soup tasted a little off, the rice in the sushi was too warm in my opinion and a number of the rolls we order never made it to the table.

Overall I would consider it a mediocre experience, I'd go back and give it another chance though.

Great vibe and fast service, but as a Vegan, there weren't many options like say 168 Sushi has at Dufferin and Steeles has. It's definitely not as flavorful either. Was expecting more Vegan options since it is after all downtown and a lot of the people in the Vegan community live downtown. The servers were really nice and service was fast, drink and dessert selection was great, not too crowded, that's why I give it a 4. I would improve on the flavour and add Vegan options, but it's their business.

Slightly on the expensive end, sashimi is hit-and-miss. However, reliable spot for good selection.

Don’t go on saturdays, we had to wait for 3 rolls for 40 minutes, and they tell you that you have only an hour and half to eat, The food is good though

Delicious, prompt, and relatively inexpensive if you're looking for a nice view and a date for two - 10% off with a Cineplex ticket (not sure if it's for any theater or just the one in the same entertainment plaza). I recommend the Surf Clam, breaded scallops, and beef with enochi mushrooms.

Overall, a nice experience especially with friends, as the seating was comfortable and cozy. The food can sometimes feel slow with occasional breaks of eating, but the staff were quick and efficient.

There are highlights in the food, but also some to avoid.

The 5 star review is not because the quality of the fish is high-grade. The 5 star review is for the selection, the freshness of the offerings, the big outdoor patio, and the service. Overall, a pretty darn good AYCE!

Went there for lunch with friends. We were a group of 7 people. Firstly, very clean and neat ambience with option for patio as well. Be it soup or rolls they offer in ample quantity, making it a great option for solo diners and large groups as they can try more variety. We were able to try out a lot of options including their veg sushi rolls. For a healthy and refreshing feeling, I highly recommend their cucumber, avocado rolls! Another important shout out to the desserts! We tried their sesame seed balls and another one with custard inside the balls. They were really nice, a perfect ending to a grant meal. The customer service was also very pleasant and responsible. Our temperature is checked upon entering the place. Highly recommended!

Excellent spot for sushi. Very friendly and attentive staff, our server Jenny was amazing. Very fast service with lots of selections. For an extra $7 there are additional excellent dessert choices.

Pricey, the seafood miso soup tasted like detergent. They even charge $2 for tea without telling us on top of $35 All you can eat lunch!

We went there for all you can eat and overall, the service is adequate but the food is mediocre. Shrimp tempura has very oily and soggy inside. Spring rolls are bland. Rice does not seem to be fresh and it is very chewy. I like the mango salad and steak though. Most of desserts were not part of the all you can eat and you have to pay extra.

Affordable AYCE for decent sushi. Really great, friendly, and fast service from all the staff. Atmosphere on the patio was really nice.

The patio was definitely nice, but some food menu has changed, was kind of looking forward to it. But the service was as good as usual. Don't mind coming second time

My friends and I enjoyed our time at spring sushi. The servers were attentive and the sushi came out quickly. The sushi was delicious and fresh. Lunch is the more affordable time to go ($34.99 per person) and if you pay cash, you will get a discount of 10%. Make sure you make a reservation, so you dont wait too long to get a table. Making a reservation early is best. Preferably opening. We went on a Sunday and it wasnt too busy.

The waiter and waitress were nice and friendly but need some more training on introducing their environment like where the washroom is and where they put their soy sauce etc. The quality of the fish was terrible. Not only they were thin, but also warm when we got them. I chose this place over other sushi all you can eat is because of their dessert. And then i realized the desserts were not part of the all you can eat. You will have to pay extra for cheesecake if you are thinking the same thing. This place is definitely overrated and the only reason I gave 2 stars rather than 1 is just because their waiters and waitresses were really friendly.

The food was very good but it lacks service. Food that was ordered never arrived to our table or arrived very late. We kept having to re-order the food. One thing we ordered 3 times and the 4th time it actually arrived right when we were about to leave. The glassware was not very clean, we had to get one of our glasses switched because it was kind of dirty. Other tables had Ginger and Wasabi, we had to ask for some and they never brought it. Would go again and give it another chance but service should be way better, especially for what they charge.

What a great experience! Food and service and atmosphere. Before the pandemic AYCE sushi was a regular outing for me. I've tried many in the City and had a few favourites. Spring Sushi is awesome and having it on a patio just enhanced the experience
after months of lockdown.
I especially like the small portions so that you can try things. Food was fresh and really tasty.
Can't say enough about the attentive service.

I’ve been here before and the last time I went to food was not that good.
It didn’t taste fresh the rice was not soft it was more hard and difficult to chew. Compared to the times I’ve been there in the past before the lock down and in my experience recently I wasn’t very happy.

Went last night, and me & my friend enjoyed the entire experience. The sushi and everything else we ordered was fresh and came hot in a matter of 10 mins after ordering. Good wholesome service with kind staff. The patio was beautiful and quite big. I went 6 years ago and hoped it would be the same experience I had then, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back! ;)

So this place is super good and really affordable. The ambiance is so lovely and welcoming. I will go to this place again, I just had a great experience overall. It's easy to order and the service is great.

The lights, changing color CN Tower, the view during sunset, and the tall buildings. You feel like you are back in Times Square in NY.

Sushi is ok but not the best. It is a good value but not the best quality. It is an excellent place to meet friends and have a small celebration. Would I come back? Probably.

Fresh food, lots of options to choose from. I'd rather go for dinner, because during lunch they don't serve sashimi

We like a lot going out. Yesterday we found this superb place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a beautiful experience there with high-qulity meal and a well-trained crew and a great chief cook. We put this restaurant in our list and we will certainly return very soon. We deeply recommend.

Food is great. The ordering system os very efficient with a tablet. Food comes pretty quickly, so don't order too much at the same time. Found it too crowded to have a conversation. A lot of vegetarian options. #sushi

Asking the wrong person, never tried nor ever entertained the the thought until talked into it by a good friend/man on this occasion, his birthday! Let's just say that I could have never even in my most creative mind though I would react the way I did naturally. Never again will I go against my knowing/knowledge that sushi was not for me, I know better! But I now have a story that goes with the topic, before this I had nothing! Lol.

Anyway it probably tasted excellent maybe even exceptional as sushi should and usually does and it could not have been that bad as their were many others there and many tables had ordered the sushi plate.

Food is pretty mediocre, especially for the cost. Food didn’t taste very fresh. Not much variety in terms of types of fish. We requested and were told we would get a window seat, but didn’t get a window seat.

It was easy to order. Not a huge selection of sushi but everything was very tasty. We had a large group and everyone was fed very fast. We parked in the green P parking just south and walked over. Enjoy yourselves!

Good food, very fresh (although the word fresh shouldn't really have a grade), my experience was good. Wished they had more options with real crab or lobster meat. Salmon was great. Octopus' balls were not.

I come here for all you can eat sushi around twice a month, usually with a reservation on OpenTable via their website. It is always packed and easily one of the most popular sushi spots in town. They've always been fast with delivering food despite the demand and have a very expansive menu. The sushi quality is pretty good, especially their torched series and their takoyaki (which not all sushi restaurants have). They no longer have the green tea/red bean/mango ice cream options for desert which I really miss; you now have a choice of mango or melon popsicle but only one per person. The servers are decent, I've had good and bad experiences, but given that we order by iPad which notifies them when we're ready and the sheer popularity of this place, I'm not too peeved by it and just tip accordingly. I will, however, say that their washroom really needs an upgrade. They can seat 100 people at their tables but their facilities are tiny and I've found the stalls more than once without toilet paper and water everywhere on the floor. If you're a fan of wasabi/ginger (like me), make sure to ask for it as you're sitting down. They don't always send it with the food.

I can’t believe there are people who rated this place 4 or 5. It’s awful. The service is terrible and the food is also terrible. Should have went to jack astors next door would have been better. Don’t waste your money.

The sashimi was super fresh and didn't taste frozen. Their torched series were also a must order. They present it very nicely and they all have amazing flavour. My favourites were the torched white tuna sushi and the hako white tuna sushi. The umami flavour was very prominent and the sushi simply melted in my mouth.

Their beef short ribs were juicy and slightly sweet. I loved the chicken skewers as well for its slight crunchy texture and tasty sauce. The dessert here was really nice too. I ordered the Melona bar and the slush. It was super refreshing and a great way to end the meal.

Super delicious I absolutely love eating here but it is quite loud when it's busy cause it's all one room and every time I've gone there's usually a bit of a wait.
I love their chicken fried rice. For some reason it's more delicious than other places rice? IDK it's honestly all delicious.

Good for all you can eat menu. Ala carte food is way blend and tasteless.chrysanthemum tea is nice and served beautifully with cute little cups that are like shots glasses. I am uploading the pictures. Try to find those two tiny glasses in the pictures.

Not sure if this is the best AYCE DT but they have the best chicken on a stick for sure. I could wolf down a ton of these. I strongly recommend the beef cubes and mushroom since it packs a lot of flavour while avoiding the usual carb bomb from sushi rolls at AYCE places.

Best all you can eat sushi place you’ll ever find, their salmon was pretty fresh also. The service was great & quick. I didn’t have to wait at all! It really amazed me how fast the service was. Waitresses should smile more or something though, they looked unapproachable. Other than that, I will be back whenever I’m in Toronto. For those who left a a bed review because of the food or the “atmosphere” this is an AYCE place not a classy restaurant. The food was beyond impressive for the price.

Really good deal for lunch, for the price of the food. There was a lot to select from. I ate too much, which always happens with all you can eat. It is was it is. It's worth it every time.

Nice place in the heart of downtown. The food is good and their service is pretty fast. Weekday all you can eat is at a really good price. The sushi quality is pretty good as well.

I think this place is more about location then food. There are plenty of ayce sushi place that exceeds the quality and selection at cheaper price. Definitely have no excuse to come back.

Fair prices. Nice atmosphere. Food was good but not excellent. The quality of the fish was ok. They do not serve Sashimi. Best part was Melona popsicles which they only give you one even though they call their restaurant "all you can eat"

Fish didn't have much flavour, even with soy sauce and wasabi, takoyaki and teriyaki chicken cooked from frozen, bland and boring. Staff were impatient and slightly rude.

Fast and good services but sometimes the taste of the sushi is not good, you see that they work fast like a machine and not always they come as expected.

Spring Sushi is without a doubt one of the best restaurants for a date night. My Significant other and I have been here on multiple occasions and the experience is subperb every time. The consistency of Spring Sushi is rare to come by especially in the all-you-can-eat type of restaurant. Highly recommended for a date night or small get together with friends.
