Pho is my ultimate favorite so unfortunately I am very picky about Pho. Ottawa, so called "pho capital", has many great pho restaurants, and I've been to almost all of them. This place is easily number 1 in Ottawa. This place AMAZED me on every aspect. The quality of their meat is topnotch, which naturally makes their broth topnotch as well. Very tender, high quality brisket. Amazingly well balanced broth which is both richly flavourful and clean. Their Sate (Chilli oil) was homemade and it was the best I have tasted so far. The owner is very nice and genuine. I want to give a 10 star if I can. It's a must if you are a pho lover!

Exceptional customer service and the food was simply amazing! I ordered the Pad Thai and Vermicelli with grilled pork, both were absolutely delicious, solid 10/10. The prices are very reasonable considering the fantastic quality!

Not really an experience. We were told they had MSG free options, so we went to try it out.
When we got there, there were no options without MSG.
So, it was a short stay. The staff were friendly and understanding.

I and my friend had chicken wings for appetizer, Pho and Com tam (rice with pork)
1. Food are really good. I never thought I could finish the medium bowl of Pho, but I cant stop eating. My friend loves pork a lot. I think its better to slice cucumber smaller, they will be good with fish sauce

2. Space: we sat close the window.it is a nice view to look at the avenue and enjoy the food

3. Service: The staffs are nice

As far as what I like, no better pho than Springroll house pho. If you have the chance to dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed. Very friendly and outgoing staff.

I love this place and I keep coming back to it. The broth they use for their pho is amazing, and after what must be 10 visits I've yet to come across a dish that did not excite me. No matter if I get take out or dine in, their food and service always makes me happy.

Pho taste and portion was decent, but the sevice was very good! The waiter was cheerful, friendly, and attentive. I realised after leaving I should have given a bigger than usual tip$! I will return!

Such great service! The pho was very tasty, perfect for a cold evening. Their spring rolls and shrimp wontons are amazing and perfectly crispy. A not so hidden gem!

The item I wanted to order was $14 on Skip the Dishes, but knowing that they take a percentage of the restaurant's money, I decided to go in person to order. Once it was ready, they charged me $18. I told them it was cheaper online and they said they had changed their paper menu. So save yourself some money and order on Skip. I felt ripped off. The food was good, but they cut their vermicelli into tiny little pieces for some reason, making it very difficult to eat. I won't be returning.

Great food and a great owner! Everything here is made from scratch and there is pride in all that is served. We are a family of four and everyone has different tastes but we all love ordering from Springroll House. The owner has always been careful too about the food allergies in our family.

In my opinion this is the best pho in town. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere, as if dining with family. Very friendly staff.

This place is one of my favourite neighbourhood spots to eat. The owners and staff are super friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are more than fair. Love the Springroll House!

I feel bad giving a bad rating to a local family run business. I want to support places in the community.

But the noodles I ordered were so bad they were basically inedible. Dry and pasty. Lumpy eggs. Wilted flavourless couple of pieces of broccoli and celery for an extra $4. Overcooked chicken. They managed to get everything wrong.

I threw them away and ate cabbage at home instead.

Great food and hospitality. The owner and his wife make you feel like family. Highly recommend.

Best tasting broth I have ever tried- I do believe broth is what truly makes pho. Best Caf Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee), sweet and delicious. Service is timely and efficient, and staff is always very friendly and polite. This is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant/cafe, and my go-to for Cafe Sua Da if I don't feel like making it myself.

Good food, good price, casual and cosy. Comfortable with kids too, and they love the spring rolls.

The best spring rolls in the city hands down. The pho is great too and pricing is very reasonable but dont make the mistake of coming here and not having the spring rolls. My girlfriend and I come here often and always leave happy. Highly recommend this restaurant for great Vietnamese food in the Hintonburg area

I used to come here every week for my favourite pho. Definitely worth your time and money. Friendly staff, amazing food, great prices and they have a specialty coffee that I just can't get enough of.

Great place to visit, with an easy menu to go through. Food itself is a 5 star rating, since it has a nice blend of spices in the broth and isn't overpowered with salt the way some other pho places are. The restaurant is also very clean. Try the spring rolls as an appetizer: you won't be dissapointed. I gave 4 stars because of location. It can be a bit tough to find parking in that area, which can be harder on some. If this is not an issue for you, it is one of the better bowls of pho that I have had in the city, and I have gone back because of it.
