By far the most incompetent company and people I have ever dealt with in my life. They are so illiterate that they don’t understand a simple question about reimbursing an overpaid premium. I’ve been on the phone for 5 consecutive hours trying to resolve a simple matter, spoke to 7 different people in 3 different departments and I still don’t have an answer after 2 months! My brain couldn’t take this idiocy: It’s simple math that they can’t do. BIG WARNING! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE COMPANY! I will never recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely disappointed with this scam of a company. Trying to cancel for the past 4 months with them. Still charging my account. Not able to speak to anyone to rectify this. My advice is to stay far away from this one. Originally signed up with SSQ, which was taken over by beneva or now la capitale. It seems they need to keep changing names to avoid the negative press. Not for long!

Delays. Delays on payments more than 10 days, ridiculous. I
Called and they stated company behind on processing.but this is not even a valid excuse.

Terrible service.what a rip off.charge you out the wazoo for coverage to get pennies in return when I'm.the onen who has to jump through hoops.canceling is a freaking nightmare too.been a process waiting for them to answer because yoy can only cancel in writing then still got charged for another month's of coverage

Over the past 3 weeks, I have received at least 6 if not more calls from Beneva asking if they could provide me a quote for insurance. After the 3rd or 4th call, I politely said: "I am busy working on an important project so can you have someone call me in mid-March? " She said it wasn't a problem.
However, Beneva continued to call. I just received another one today and I told the person that I am getting annoyed with all these calls especially since I clearly said that I would like a call only in mid-March and not before. I then said that it seems pretty clear that communication at Beneva is very poor or there is no respect of a client's request. So I asked him that I do not want to get any further calls from Beneva. His response was 'good-bye' then he hung up. Anyone with half a sense of what good customer service is would have at least apologized for the repeated calls. I wanted to give Beneva a chance to earn my business but that last call ensure that Beneva will NEVER get my business.

The wait time is horrible, I understand mergers happened but it seems like they are facing a lot of questions and communications sent to clients seem a bit confusing.

Assureurs de mèrde.
Ils refusent des soumissions d'ajout de véhicules en raison valable, juste à cause d'une réclamation antérieure avec eux. À quoi cela sert d'avoir une assurance s'ils ne sont pas capable de convenablement répondre aux besoins des clients en cas de situation. Je ne recommande aucunement ces assureurs même si j'ai un de mes véhicules avec eux.
C'est ma dernière année avec eux. Je ne renouvelerrai pas.

This is hands down the worst insurance company I have ever in my life had to deal with. The fact you have to give a star to review is the saddest because they don't deserve even that. Nobody knows what they are talking about and I think they may be reading off some script that is so vague even they don't understand it. If you are considering a new job and this company is the one representing youre benefits, keep job hunting!

They outright lied and mislead us and revert to a consultant firm they use called Cubic Health, (who calls their insurance company to be told to contact a paid consultant they hire) is the place you actually should contact (uhmm hello say that again) that is exactly what they did with us last week. They refused to let us talk to a supervisor, told us a letter had been sent that never was, gave us the run around and still said one falsehood after another.

Absolute worst experience with this insurance company. I have to call 7 times to confirm coverage. They kept saying something wasn't covered although it was in the plan brouchure. If I hadn't kept calling and asking more questions I wouldn't have recovered $1,000's of dollars. No integrity. Stay far away.

If i could rate less than one star I would I made a claim in the beginning of February, when you submit a claim you receive little to no correspondence that they have received it. I called in to check the status and the person barely understood what I was asking about, finally she told me 10 to 15 business days. When I called back after that time they told me they have been experiencing delays and told me it would be another 2 weeks. They offer all of these great things on paper, at cheap costs to employers but it's actually a huge scam, what they don't tell you is that 9 out of 10 times when you call, their staff has no clue what's going on, and if you want to make a claim it will take them a full calendar year to process. Garbage, absolute garbage.

It shouldn’t take over 2 weeks to get reimbursed for a claim that was submitted online. Wait times are ridiculous.

Very slow at responding to claims. Been nearly theory days and then we had to call them and offered many excuses as to why the aren't going to pay right now but maybe in the future. Please avoid if possible.
