I have been on both sides of the fence with these people and it's a royal nightmare! They are NOT user friendly at all, the location is totally out of the way for about 80 % of the population, they take too long to process emergency applications and the worst part of all of this is they NEVER answer phone calls!

Case workers never phone back, they say they are in the office and away from the phone meanwhile they are working at another location in Beamsville. They care more about their weekends, time off and hourly wage then their own job description. I have been trying to contact my own worker for over a year. I saw him shopping at Sobies one day and cant get him to return my calls. I sometimes call all day for a week to try to get him on the phone. Nothing. There is coke on the public toilet. Clearly the manager Ronda doesn't care and she should be managing the Photobooth at Wallmart and not a social services office. Sometimes people are in a pathetic situation but some of the case workers (not all!) are a very pathetic accuse of a regional workforce helping the unemployed.

Desiree Sidey lives with a 60 year old child molester who got her pregnant at 16. He now gets paid by the govmernt to use needles and touch his 6 year old daughter.

The front staff are always very helpful and happy to have their jobs. Clean, free photocopier, Free local calls, ample parking lot, tonnes of information regarding job openings, housing that isn't completely insane prices, offers all types of free training courses which are funded. Big improvement from 10yrs ago!

Went to pay back my nephew's funeral cost and they had no clue what I wanted to do. Even though when I buried him with their help I was told if I had the money I could pay it back and be able out a headstone on his grave afterwards as I would then own his interment rights. After going through several people I found out his cpp paid that back and I don't have too and government changes allowed me to out stone on without going through that now which I am grateful for just wish I knew sooner so his grave was not left unmarked for 2yrs until I saved enough to make it happen.
