St. Catharines Husky Travel Centre

My family and I come here. At least twice a week, the food in the service is awesome. The waitresses and the boss is always have smiles on there faces. We will always keep coming back for the food and the service. Sincerely the family that eats alot

We never once in 20 minutes have someone come to our table to take our order or asked if we wanted a drink. Only 3 other tables of people who had already eaten. It was NOT at all busy so no excuse. Will never go back.

Was hard to even give one star. The service was the worst I have ever had. Food was not right. Never was asked if I would like a refill when my food came I got a salad I didn’t order and after about five minutes of it being on my table server came back and said it wasn’t mine took it from my table and brought it to the table it should have gone to.
Big big no no in the food industry! I won’t be back in the restaurant to eat. As a truck driver who knows about customer service this restaurant scored a big zero with me.

The staff are ALWAYS friendly! The food is always delicious! The restaurant and store are always very clean. You guys do a great job! Keep up the good work!

The Husky Travel Centre generously allows a local dog rescue to use the far end of their parking lot for adoption pick-ups, and we ate a meal here while waiting to meet our new rescue dog. Veggie burger meal, eggs Benedict and classic diner breakfast were all well-prepared, with great service. Facilities are neat and clean.

Took my mother in law the other night for supper, food was good but the TV was loud and the program was offensive for the diner.

I had to make an emergency pit stop on my 50km bike ride. The staff where friendly and watched my bike when they saw me run for the toilet. My purchased refreshment was cold and well priced. I will be making a planned visit again soon.

Service is terrible, you’ll show up for breakfast and end up receiving lunch.ps: if u get served by pam request a different server.

Fantastic clean place! Big shower in reasonable price. Gentle staff. Good restaurant and ample parking.

Sharing our experience at Husky Restaurant in St Catherine's.

We approx arrived at 12: 15pm on 20 Feb 23 as we get inside the restaurant The waitress sits us down (group of four 2 adults 2 teens) takes our drink orders. She comes back and puts the drinks on the table and walks away. We were ready to place our order, but our waitress didn't come back, so we saw someone else cleaning the tables in our area and asked if she could take our order she said she will get someone for us as she doesn't work in that area and was just helping out. She comes back to let us know that it would be about 20-25 minutes before we can place our order.

We started to get upset because this should have been communicated to us when we walked in instead of taking our drink orders, knowing we couldn't get our order taken until 20 minutes later. We spent about 45 minutes before someone came to finally take our order, and at that point, we told her we wanted our bill for our drinks. We asked to speak to the waitress who was taking people's orders, and she told the lady she was too busy to talk to us.

We then asked to speak to a man who we assumed was the manager only to find out he was one of the owners, and he was of no help. He didn't apologize for having only one person taking people's orders and serving nor the fact that the staff kept seating people and taking drink orders instead of telling people that there is a wait before they can take your order.

Sean (the owner) just listened to us and said ok and walked away completely useless. We were shocked that he was the owner and didn't even step in to help his staff, which was multi-tasking, and couldn't keep up. His business ethnic was completely unacceptable. As a business owner myself, I would never treat my customers like this.

Do not park your truck here. Trailers are always getting broken into. I park here multiple times a month and when I wake up there are 5-6 seals on the ground. The staff don’t care or handle the situation appropriately. The reason for the 1 star review is based on how the staff handled this situation, and lied to us drivers who had our valuables stolen.
Play it safe & just find somewhere else to park.
