St. Clair College Student Residence - Windsor Campus

Stayed here while I was in college, was fairly nice. First floor rooms have higher ceilings thanks to the drop ceiling in hallways/kitchens for utilities, which makes the rooms feel way bigger. Cleaning staff is good, wish the fridges were bigger. It's not sufficient for 2 people who both cook meals regularly instead of eating out or making instant food.

Currently living in the residence as a full time student and I can say that I’m loving it! Rooms are spacious and each individual gets a private room, shared common area and a bathroom in an 2 bedroom suite which is really good compared to most of the other residences where you hardly get your private space. Wi-Fi is super fast throughout the building. The management makes sure that the building remains clean at all times. A common kitchen is available in the building, however, you are allowed to bring electric automatic shut off devices in your suite only if the device has been approved by a residence staff member. As a student, you can get great opportunities to socialize by engaging in the residence community activities or by being an resident advisor (RA). Housekeeping comes and cleans the common areas of your suite once in 2 weeks which is not bad. However, I’d really like if the residence could change the strap blinders to roll up and down blinders as the the straps of current blinders keep falling off no matter how careful you are with them. Overall, I love the residence, I feel safe and will definitely be coming back for the spring semester.

My daughter was enrolled in St. Clair at the height of the pandemic and, though we live nearby, wanted the dorm experience. The building was quite close to where her classes were held and despite not being able to have roommates and not being able to gather, the Residence did it's best to engage the students. When I went in to pay for the residence, the facility was very clean and the staff very professional. There was a bus that came once per week to take those students who needed transportation to the grocery store. Due to the pandemic, I only ever saw pictures of the room but it looked very nice and the one time she needed maintenance, she said that they responded very quickly. Move in went smoothly and when she left the school when all of her classes went online, there was a penalty as anyone would expect with the breaking of a lease, but we got more money back than expected and the facility was very fair in these unusual times. I would recommend the residence for students attending St. Clair.

Stayed for a sports tournament. The room was spacious for a college residence. Two separate bedrooms with double beds. Small kitchenette area with full size fridge, sink and microwave. The price was great and staff very friendly. The place was clean. I found the beds comfortable. Linens and towels were thin. Bottom sheet was a flat sheet, not a fitted sheet so beds got tangled. Overall, it was a great stay, nice campus and if back I would definitely consider this accommodation.

Great economical place to stay when travelling for sport team events!
