Incompetence galore!

Just call them and press '1' before the long message plays, once you start speaking, you'll know how your experience will be from the receptionist to the doctor.

You can not call after 3pm even though it says that the clinic is open until 5pm. Recieved a voicemail on a Friday at 2: 30pm saying I had a message from my doctor and to call back however when I called back 3: 30 the reception voicemail already said they were closed for the day. This has happened on multiple occasions. Happening on a Friday is the worse because you'll have to wait until Monday to find out if there's something wrong with you or not. Strongly contemplating moving to another clinic however I really like my family doctor here.

Nannar asks questions 1st, refers you to out-of-pocket tests 2nd, and listens 4th. He is a lucky man, which is a good thing, because he is also a coward.p. S. Zero communication skills by all staff.

Im seriously considering changing my family doctor. Family doctor is okay (nothing special) but Its very hard to get an appointment. They’ve ignored my voice mail, email and the front desk never picks up the phone. Today I was able to get connected but the receptionist just told me they can do this afternoon, booked it without my consent and hung up. I didnt even agree to have the consultation at that time, was checking my calendar.

Last time, they booked me at a wrong time slot and I got a call from the doctor when I was in the middle of a meeting. When I called back, the receptionist acted like I had no clue in managing my own schedule. Incompetent front desk, not a good experience. I dont even want to think about dealing with this clinic when I actually have a medical emergency.

Slow and incompetent reception. They took several days to send out a referral, and denied me an appointment when I had worsening symptoms, forcing me to go to a walk in clinic.

Reception is incompetent. They rush you and try to end the call within 1 minute. If it doesn't work, they become very rude. There is a new doctor and she seems more enthusiastic/attentive to patient which brings some hope. The previous doctor was not attentive or well qualified in terms of her skills as a doctor.

My husband and I are both Dr. Amy Sur's patients for 3 yrs and never had an urgent medical problem to see her work. However, recently we had an urgent medical situation that required immediate attention. Dr. Sur and the team at the clinic responded so carelessly and slowly that my husband ended up going to the emergency room. I absolutely don't recommend this doctor or this clinic to anyone since they are not caring of their patients.

I receive the best care from Dr. Amy Sur. She is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She is always willing to help in any way that she can. Excellent service each time I visit.

Dr. Amy Sur and her assistant Anna have provided me with exceptional care. I often experienced severe
pain setbacks due to spinal problems before my spine surgery in Bangkok, Thailand, and whenever I require immediate medications or referrals, Dr. Sur always offers the kindest assistance. Dr. Sur’s professional compassion and demeanour calms me in every medical situation. She is my perfect doctor.

Finding a doctor in Toronto is worse than going on blind dates. Dr. Nannar was recommend by a friend and I couldn’t be happier. From our first meeting he has addressed any concerns or questions I’ve had along the way. Family medical history - he screened for everything, a medication wasn’t the best fit for me - he found an alternate solution, he even referred to an amazing dentist (Dr. Kiepas across the street).

I am a patient here and have had two experiences here both awful. First time I made an appointment, they confirmed it. I took time off work, got there and they said it was not in the system and made me reschedule. On my rescheduled visit, the doctor did not even do a physical and said there was no point in any blood tests (even though I had none in 20 years). He was very indifferent to me as a patient. Second time I came here, I struggled to get an appointment and they told me to just call the day of that I wanted to come to see if they had availability that day for me. Once I got there, they said my health card was expired (red and white) which is wrong, the Ontario Government has not yet set an expiration date for these cards to no longer be valid. They said my only option was to reschedule at a future date with a new card, or to pay a new patient fee of $70+. Even though they said I am an active patient, they wanted to me pay. No thank you. Place is a money pit with very rude staff. Highly do not recommend anyone become a new patient. They make it very difficult to get an appointment or even to be seen by a doctor. You are better off going to a walk in.

I was highly impressed with Dr. Nannar at our initial meet and greet, by his openness, empathy, and refreshing approach to patient care. I was also impressed and reassured by their community participation in operating an after hours clinic.

I’m a pacient of Dr Nannar and he is very attentive, I have no complaints about him. But the staff is very unfriendly, always rude on the phone.

My dad, who has recently experienced multiple strokes and heart failure, often needs to go to his family doctor to be checked on. He is unable to drive and is often slow moving. I come from Etobicoke to Scarborough to pick him up then to St. Clair medical where his doctor is located. Usually from his residence to St. Clair medical takes 25-30 minutes. He had an appointment at 9: 15 am and unfortunately traffic was awful and it took over an hour to get there and then to assist my dad into the building took more time. By the time we were upstairs it was 9: 50 am, which I know is past his appointment time but we weren’t expecting such major delays. The receptionist said the doctor could not see him because he had a meeting after the patient he was currently with. It would have taken 10 minutes to see my dad, she wouldn’t even have us wait so she could ask the doctor if he could fit us in, even after I explained the circumstances. Then she says the earliest the doctor could fit him in was 9 days from now. For someone in his condition, that’s too long not to have a check up. And they should know that. While I like Dr. Nannar, the reception desk is awful.
