St George Medical Center and Pharmacy

Worst reception service ever. There are 2 ladies at reception that do not know how to do anything. They speak in their own language and give favors to their own community people. There is no communication within doctors and reception at all. I went for referral various times and never heard back.

Absolutely awful! Dr. Abdulrahem Laftah does NOT care about anyone's wellbeing, he treats his staff awful, same to his patients. He will not introduce himself nor speak in a concerned or appropriate manor. Was half asleep while talking to us, laid back in unprofessional attire, refused to listen. He will rush you out the door without addressing your concerns. Could not even propley fill out a requsition form, can't even use it! I had to go back in after clairifying twice and still was not done propely! Unheard of! Anyone with ears could do that. He was upset about seeing anyone not his patient yet he runs a walk in clinic! Worst experiance ever! He can't even write properly, nor check the right boxes after TWO people clairifying concerns! No one in this clinic has any right practicing medicine under these conditions, no regard for safety or wellbeing of patients besides for maybe the front desk. The clinic did not even look clean, I do not trust their practices. Do NOT go here if you care about yourself or your loved one's, it's not worth it. Go anywhere else to get the care you deserve, it's 2023 in Canada, access to proper Healthcare is a right not a privilege.

Kind of pointless saying you’re open till 7pm and informing patients over the phone that docs are available just for the patient to show up and be told “sorry, he’s left”

Absolutely the most unprofessional experience. Do not go here for a blood test. Untrained staff and long wait times even with appointment. Went in for a blood test and staff ended up missing the vein completely while trying to draw blood and asked to come back at a late date

Very bad attitude, extremely rude and unprofessional doctos, the doctor is atleadt 90 years old, grumpy and inexperienced, not recommended dont waste your time

Always a great experience here - Dr. Laftah and staff are very supportive. The wait times are minimal and they are open on Saturdays. The pharmacists are lovely, as well. I’m very happy with my family doctor experience here, our whole family is well taken care of.

St. George medical centre at 50 skyharbor brampton is equipped with unprofessional, not-qualified doctors, and receptionists. Dr. Laftah is ignorant man. I am not sure if his degree is purchased or did he ever attend a day in medical school? He has no investigative skills, or even manners on how to look for a problem and fix what the patient came there for. He also is hard at hearing and doesnt acknowledge that or use hearing aid.he keeps door open, mask on the chin, slouches in his chair.to be fair, just give up the act and retire! Dr. Laftah! Enjoy your senior years at home rather than wasting patients' time

I went there a full body checkup. And I’d been dealing with anxiety and heart palpitations too. I went there and this place has one of the most polite and understanding people. I can’t thank you guys enough.

Me and my family had a great experience at this clinic. Staff is extremely supportive and caring, especially Ajit at the front desk. My family doctor, Dr. Neeru Anand is a very good listener and patiently handles us every time.

Terrible communication from staff, this is the second time I’ve asked availability of a doctor and was told they are onsite. Showed up and they claimed they told me the doctor was only there for a certain period of time which was untrue.

Very bad experience at this pharmacy. The pharmacist lady or woman refused to give me tablet cutter because I was a random customer and not her regular. Its against medical ethics. Highly recommend not to go there

This place doesn't even star a 1 star, worse experience ever.
I don't like to write review.its so funny when I am on stGeorge website, MR sunny saying receptionist are mumbling not answering properly. I have the experience totally opposite, I can suggest receptionist the energy she is wasting on screaming, and yelling, better then use that energy to solve the patient problems.please get first proper training, then start work.

Unprofessional front desk receptionist, her name is Ajeet as I called for one report of my wife. She is very incompetent and irresponsible as she is very rude on phone calls to answer, I am wondering who provide her front desk job as she doesn't have etiquettes of good customer care. Not even deserve one star. I will recommend to my family and friends to check other clinic which will give better services to patient. I will never go there again

I have been a part of this centre since beginning but unfortunately their services have declined in quality and treatment towards their patients. Whenever I call them it's long waiting times, nobody is interested to cater to our needs at the reception area. Highly unprofessional, just want to make money.

Dr laftah is big fraud, I took my son yesterday as walk in, even Dr not interested to know y I am here, eating vagitable, when I left the receptionist call me John I am so sorry I forgot to get your information, Dr so made on me please Give me your health card information, I refused, Be Aware every one

This is very un acceptable cruel which is a front desk I always call they don't pick up my phone and like 10 15 days all good now don't know what they do they with the phone and they said we call you back and never call i refer for this clinic a around 15 to 20 families to go there I'm going to tell them to like don't go there there very rude and very undisciplined people unorganized dear they are very very unorganized they don't know how to deal with patience if somebody call they know they already in something happened they call you guys right otherwise who call clinic who nobody called clinic right if somebody have a bank edition that they call clinics to help I don't know they never pick up my phone before was okay couple weeks ago they become a phone they're nicely answer unlike nicely their trade now they don't treat good dating we are piece of garbage but we go somewhere else there's a lot of walk-in clinics over there down the road so very sad very sad very sad

Place looks like it got looted. We had to explain to the doctor what genetics is…Had to go back three times once to redo test and another because the doctor was not in for the receptionist to reprint the results and another because the receptionist got my name address and phone number wrong twice that day even tho I gave her my health card with all the info on it. Place reeks of incompetence and questionable practice

No discipline in the clinic. Receptionist Nazma is very rude, never take patients seriously. Patients are waiting for long and receptionist is always busy on phone calls. Worst medical centre seen ever.

Very unprofessional. Staff shows so much attitude and so rude to talk.unreasonable wait time. After waiting for so long they will not at answer your questions at all. Super pathetic arrangement and no cleanliness. Very disappointed.

I came to the clinic today and was greeted very well by the front staff.they have specialists who give quick appts.and the wait times are very very short.especially the front desk staff are very helpful and they have a friendly demeanour.including, Karishma, the pharmacist.

Do not ever go to this clinic!
All the Doctors and staff are full of ego and stupidity.one person will tell you something and other day they say completely opposite.
Honestly, Dr. Laftah does not know anything and is extremely unprofessional. He was my family doctor and I went to him as I had backpain and I already had x-ray. He asked me to get another x-ray from his referral (money making trick) and he said that 'I don't know how to read x-ray and I need radiologist's report. ' After I took my x-ray to him, he said ' x-ray is normal' and when I said it pains in my back, he said 'you are young, you can work and it's nothing there. ' I had to leave my job as he did not provide me the note as if young people are made of iron.
He is very rude and has no empathy for patients. Also, when I went to him for appointment, he was watching some Arabic videos while talking to me and he does not even speak English properly.
How can we trust on such a doctor who does not even care to listen to patient's pain?
Also, they only take cash payment to save taxes and every time I go there, they just have one excuse that their POS machine is broken. They don't accept credit or debit and charges cash payment for no reason.

One of the worst and most disorganized clinic I have ever been too. I usually don't write reviews but couldn't resist. After registration, the receptionist asked us to go to room number 5. When we entered the doctor Laftah was watching YouTube videos. My wife and I tried to explain the reason of our visit which he couldn't understand and we had to repeat our self. I'm sure the doctor needs hearing aid as I was talking pretty loud. He got mad at us for coming to this clinic since we have a family doctor. I explained I couldn't get an appointment with my family doctor so came here. He referred us to another doctor. While he was writing ge got a call from the cops and asked where he was and they are coming to see him. When we were leaving 2 cop cars showed up. I'm not sure what the issue was but he felt very nervous talking to the cop on the phone. I would stay away from.that doctor if I was you.

This is one of the unprofessional clinics that I've been to. Almost waited 2 hours just to get check up. When i went inside to see the doctor in his room. For Good Five minutes he was watching YouTube videos in Arabic eating his salary. He could barely speak English. He got upset when I was trying to explain my situation that he couldn't understand. Never again I'll be going to this place.

I moved to the area six months ago and started visiting this clinic/pharmacy. I have had such a pleasant experience with the pharmacist Karishma. She has always been very helpful and has gone out of her way to make sure I’m well taken care of. I’m happy to have found somewhere I’m comfortable going.

This medical centre has very helpful and caring staff especially Nazma and Dr Neeru Anand, they explain every thing very clearly and give you direction for further diagnostic tests and make all arrangements for appointment on time.

I had the best experience with this clinic. Everyone at this clinic is amazing, from the super friendly and helpful ladies at the front desk, to the doctor and the pharmacist. I took my grandma to the Dr. Laftah… let me say the care we received was not the greatest.as we waited for our turn to see the doc, the girl said my grandma's name twice and we never heard it since she spoke very lightly begin with. So I get up to ask how long we have to wait she says that they called her name a few times and I was like r u kidding me.anyways we go to see the dr.this guy was sitting on the chair as if he is some type of king sitting on his throne. I laughed. Then as I go to explain to him what the issues are with my grandma he then shuts me and then continues reading the blood work report.like couldn't he have done that instead of sitting waiting. EVERYTIME I tried explain to him my grandma's health history (who has many health issues) he started yelling at me and my grandma that she is having a Kidney failure (She only have one kidney that barely works and we are aware of that.if he had let me finish then he would understand) and my grandma who doesn't peak English but of course understood when he said KIDNEY FAILURE.she started freaking out, she is also a patient who has had 3 heart attacks. Then he runs out the room and grabs paper work, I mean can this doc let me speak.he made my grandma scared where she started to believe her kidneys were failing and I ended up taking her to the hospital after 3 days and staying there for 16hrs for them to tell me that everything is fine given her health history. The pharmacist there is horrible as well.she never called us back abut my grandmas medication since we told her that she was running out in a few days.we had to call them and then they said that they will rush it.we never got a call back. Wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

I shared my last visit on their facebook page and thought they will take an action and improve services but instead i was called lier and at the end they removed my review.whoever is handling their facebook account will loss all new customers due to his/her behavior, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO VISIT THIS PLACE.
Reasons:
1. I booked my Chiropractic appointment online and due to some bug in their system another patient was booked at the same time therefore i had to wait for 40 mins.
2. Physio was yelling and complaining how there are 2 person booked at the same time whereas i was watching an hearing everything and thought they would apologized for this inconvenient but no apology instead being rude.
3.after waiting almost 40 mins for my turn i was told to take a x-ray and appointment done in 15 mins.
4.second appointment i was told you need to check up on the regular bases so buy 6 weeks plan for further treatment, i had neck pain and physio made it even worst, i could not move my neck for 4 days.
5.complain on facebook and i was called Lier.

Great experience! The staff know their patients well and they care. I couldn't believe how fast the doctor (Dr. Laftah) saw me. He was very nice and I didn't feel like I was rushed. He is very knowledgeable and understands your issue and prescribes accordingly. They had my prescription ready in a snap. Pharmacist is so courteous and friendly.
I am very happy with the service. Highly recommend!

My Dr changed locations and I continue to see him here the wait times are low Friendly receptionists and Pharmacy. Pharmacy has wifi too. I don't use the pharmacy only because it too far to come for refills

Took my little one to see the doctor. First, the weight the admin staff gave us was 3 KG more. Seems small, but affects medication dose. Then the doctor was constantly rubbing his nose and touching my daughter. Then he didn't even check her temperature, when that was the initial complaint we went in for and then after a 20 second exam (artificial) he advised us to give our 4 year old cold and sinus medication (otc) since she has fluid in ears; when we questioned that she is only 4, he said it's ok to give cold and sinus to kids. Like seriously?

I had to visit the St George pharmacy recently and I was impressed by the team there. I dealt with Pharmacist karishma Arora and she was amazingly professional, knowledgeable and proactive in helping patients. I would highly recommend them.

My husband booked Chiropractic promotional offer with Dr. Luvraj Sandhar as he had sports injury recently. As per the details on Facebook offer, it included consultation, x-ray of necessary and first chiropractic treatment. We travelled 35 minutes from other end of the city, waited at reception for good 15 minutes and we were told that chriopratic treatment will be done in next sitting. The information on the offer was inaccurate and incomplete, my husband missed half day from work just to be told this. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Will not recommend dr. Sandhar's services.

My elderly parents always appreciate the warmth and friendliness of the pharmacist. Karishma is very helpful & have the requisite qualities to take care of all ages coming into the pharmacy, including seniors! Keep up the good work & your smile, cheering up all walking in there!

Not much of a wait, the receptionist (didn’t get her name) and I think she was the pharmacist (Karishma) were very polite and friendly. Karishma spoke with my children, made them feel comfortable, and gave candies - lovely personality.
Would definitely go back if need be.
Only reason for 1 star less was the overall appearance of the medical centre. There was garbage on the floor and shelves were empty.

The pharmacy always smells fresh and hygienic. Extremely affable, courteous and professional staff. Good team of Doctors as well.

I am extremely happy with the services provided by this medical centre. Karishma knows her job really well and makes sure that patients leave the premise satisfied. Also, Dr. Dhanoa is the best GP I've visited in GTA.

I am so thankful that they have opened up this medical centre, walking distance from my house. The service I get from their pharmacy and doctor team is amazing. You will not find smiling faces and amazing understanding people anywhere else.

My recent experience with St George pharmacy has been highly satisfying. Had to rush my kid with an emergency and the doctor on call and the in-house pharmacist were extremely considerate and professional to provide my child with the best possible treatment. Overall an excellent pharmacy with Best of doctors. Highly recommended!

If possible I could have given negative star. Doctors are highly unprofessional. I had talk with receptionist about my appointment and came as per schedule timing but after waiting 30 min they told me to come other day.they are least bother that i came with two child and one of the child is limping.no sense of humanity and doctor duty to see child concerns. So guy before visiting please pay attention to these dumb people and never thought to visit them In my life

My experience at this pharmacy has been phenomenal. Appointment booking has never been so easy, wait times are never more than 15 mins, most humble and generous Pharmacist I have ever met who knows her job quite well. Came to the walk-in clinic here for the first time since my personal doctor wasn’t giving me any tangible answers as to what was wrong with my child.
Really impressed by Dr. Khela she is consistently very courteous, empathetic and friendly. She takes her time understanding her patient's issues and concerns and crucially provides accurate diagnosis. I have no hesitation recommending This medical centre. I will definitely be returning to St. George medical centre in the future.
