St. James Catholic Church

What a disgrace of a church, our family has been members of this perish for nearly 50 years and on Monday we had scheduled a 40 day mass for my wife who passed away. We were left there with no priest showing up, no notification that he wasn’t able to make, no attempts to get another priest. Today when I finally spoke to someone all they said is he got caught up and couldn’t leave. I understand things happen but it’s 2023, we all have cells phones and he could of made an attempt to get another priest there. We had close to 100 people come and to have no priest is an embarrassment and disrespect to my wife, my family, and all the loved ones who took the time to come and pray for her and all they could say is we can schedule another mass for her.

I have had very good experiences of Masses at this Church. I appreciate that they have a Monday night 7: 00pm Mass here, as well as Friday nights.
